good morning . so just updating my log on the progression of the grow. The Hammer Head is doing well picking up some good growth. gave her .5ML of Rapid Start from GH to really get her roots established. The White Rhino x G-Spot just popped its Radicle (root tip) out of the shell. I just planted her root tip down into the soil.

Now i am going to SOG (Sea Of Green) this grow. I plan on moving 8 in every 2 weeks in 1 gallon grow bags. So in total when its filled will be 56 plants at the end of 7 weeks which 8 will becoming out at the end of week 7 for drying. I plan On keeping the Hammer Head as a mother (seed is feminized), and if the White Rhino x G-Spot is a female she will be a mother also. If a Male does occour with the WR x GS i do plan on breeding it and saving pollen.

Bad news.... the mastodon kush didnt make it through the seedling stage. oh well it is what it is. ill just have to order more this time around :)

but other then that those of you whom are in the path of hurricane Irene stay inside and be safe. its about to hit here full on.

update 9-4-11

So on the 9-2-11 i transplanted the White Rhino x G-Spot into a bigger cup with Fox Farms soil. watered with 2.5 ml/1 gallon of water of RAPID ROOT from GH to help with the stress of the transplant and help extend her roots into her new home.

On 9-3-11 i watered the HAMMERHEAD with 2.5 ml/1 gallon Neptune's Fish and Kelp along with 1 ml/1 gallon of B.C. Boost and 1ml/1 gallon, and B'Cuzz growth 1ml/1 gallon. The water for both has been distilled for 36 hours with 2 air stones to help irrigate the water.

PIC 1-2 HammerHead
PIC 3-4 White Rhino x G-Spot
PIC 5 Outside the box together
PIC 6 Inside the Veg Box (still getting the closet prepped for the SOG)

These 2 strains i got high hopes for. the best part is gonna be the SOG. BTW wanna pass that popcorn this way.... i got the munchies :)

@ HDJ: always a pleasure when you stop in. btw those seeds started yet?

Transplanting

Transplanting

Good morning icmag fam. So i transplanted my hammerhead from a 1 liter bottle to a 3 gallon grow bag for her new mother home (will be bonsi her later on) and i took some pictures along the way of how i transplant.

Now if you can see the bottom leaves starting to yellow but the plant is maintaining healthy growth means ROOT BOUND and time to TRANSPLANT.

Pic 1: i got the 3 gallon grow bag next to the 1 liter bottle the HH is in.

Pic 2: I put the 3 gallon grow bag inside the 5 gallon bucket to help with any sort of mess that might occur through out the transplanting process. I start to fill the bottom of my grow bag up with fresh soil.

Pic 3: once the bag is half way full i place the current container the plant is in in the middle of the grow bag. I start to fill it. were the container is will be my dummy hole to place the plant in.

Pic 4-5: The container is completely surrounded on all sides. Once i pulled out the container... VOLIA! the dummy hole is now ready to be filled with our new transplant :)

Pic 6: I added a bit of pressure/rolling the bottle inside the palms of my hand. once that is done place the plants stock inbetween your pointer finger and middle finger. Once in place tip upside down and give a nice little tap on the bottom.... and out she goes! ROOT BOUND much? Perfect time to transplant.

Pic 7-8: Once out of the old container place inside the dummy hole that has been created. once placed lightly apply pressure on the top of the soil so everything gets fitted beneath the surface.

Pic 9: :tiphat: SUCESSFUL TRANSPLANT:tiphat:! gonna enjoy her new home

So you gotta put the smaller root bound plant in the bigger pot with new soil? So that's how you do it. hehe I'm just messing with you looks good. :tiphat:

Not all the way,... chasing proper "N" dose ATM. That harvest pulled thru nicely tho for my first run, still waiting for proper cure, jarred it a bit wet I think.

Always lurking :tiphat:

Nice man. how'd she end up smelling at the end of harvest? she had some looking buds in those pics.... cant imagine how dank they looked at harvest time coated in trichs! for sure gotta let me know how that smoke is.

sLai*kRoLa I'm interested in 150w hps grows.

Thanks for stopping in. Yea the 150w is nice for what i got going on. i have another 150w hps that im gonna be using for the sog so ill have a total of 300w for flower. But in the other grows in this log i was pull about 2 1/2 - 3 ounces off a plant. Thats not enough for the wife and my smoking habit. so thats why im upping the flower to 300w's in total. But thanks again for stopping by.

Yesterday during the transplant i forgot to jot down what i fed. for 2 gallons of water i used 1 tablespoon of Neptunes Fish and Kelp (still waiting on the hydro store to re-up on Humboldt products just have micro and bloom atm so i have to substitute) 4.5ml of Rapid Root, 4.5ml of B.C. Grow, 4.5ml of B.C. Boost. The hammerhead has really started to perk up since the transplant. i have taken them out of the veg box and place them in the 36"x20x"64" tent under 1 150w hps lamp. I've read people using them for veg so im gonna use that for now and prep that veg box for my clone chamber. They seem to be taking a liking to it that i can see. got it on a 18/6 light cycle. I need to get a new heating mat (old one no longer works) for my humidity dome for the clones. The white rhino x g-spot is gonna need to be transplanted here in a few days. slight yellowing of the lower leaves and slower growth is telling me its about that time. No sign of sex on it yet since it is a reg seed. it does have a slight mutation to it. 3 sets of fan leaves (i thought it was four but its really 3) coming out from one top. Im gonna keep it and see what the outcome of it is.

I started some more genetics. decided to go with a feminized freebie i got called BIG BAND. So i got the bean in a wet paper towel in a zip lock baggy in a nice warm spot. so ill check on it in a few days. the reason the top is blacked out is cause its a non icmag vendor. Im still deciding wether or not to get some grapefruit diesel going or wait. i dunno still on the ponder :chin:

Early smoke report is on the meek side,... of the buds I've grown I'm probably least impressed with this high. Looks great, smells great (one of the skunkyest strains I've ever done)

Not much of a high, but knocked all my end of day body aches out without knocking me out,..... might be a good daytime painkiller bud, but this was my first run and things might change as I figure out what this strain wants.

"Big Band"? BigBudxHeadband? Could be interesting :D I gotta pop some of my "BeachWreck" seeds, (TrainwreckxMaui)
