i grew Cambodian… in fact spent a year with it sorting through the hermaphrodites finding a true female cloning it, and then growing it out :whip: in the end It barely got me high, it was like zero potency…but it really looked like it was going to be amazing. That’s when I learned, you cannot judge a book by its cover… I have pictures if you want to see it

What's normal to me is: if any country legalize CANNABIS must be as growing a Rosemary plant, if not don't twist the English words! Or word "legalize"
I was saying this years ago while chucking bag seeds into a planter outside the police station.. we need decriminalisation, not legalisation. It just made it easier for ‘them’ to pollute what little was left, so sad to see the Thai military give away 1 million type 3 plants, that was the last nail.

Is that male 100% Cambodian? If so you can take a cutting and reverse it with ethylene.
That male is 87.5% Cambodian / Laos & 12.5% Gambian same as all the female Gambodian I have going currently too

I bought a gallon of ethephon over a decade ago (not the diluted Florel shit); ethephon is a precursor to Ethylene…You can use it to thin fruit trees or flip males, amongst other things too… :)

I have a funny story though about Males in a garage once that had probably a thousand apples in there curing/ripening, but that’s for another time…. Haha

I have been able to encourage a Mango Zamal male to make female flowers with some ripe bananas and a plastic bag in order the ethyelene stay enough time to make effect. I ate the bananas just before they became overripe and replaced them. Sadly such strain is crossed with Skunk, so it was powerful but I didn't enjoy the smoke too much.

They did that in the past in the Netherlands too, so you had Thai x Skunk, Lambsbread x Skunk, South-Indian x Skunk etc.
Seedsman had a very good strong Thai 18-20 weeks flowering period, but nowadays also crossed with Skunk.

Yes, sadly they cross everything x Skunk. I guess they do it to reduce the flowering time, the height and the stretching in flowering in order to make them more suitable for indoor growing. And also to reduce the intersex traits. But Zamal seems very dominant so I grew a crazy and wild growing male that spent 30 weeks flowering. It was not my case a from 3 seeds only one sprouted and it was that male, but I know the same strain is very hermie prone, as even the seedbank warned about that. So, why cross it with Skunk? Where is the advantage?
I know Superskunk very well as everybody grew it here in the early 2000's, but I developed a very strong dislike for such stink. I was able to recognise such undertone below the Zamal mango-carrot smell. The skunk stink was not very strong but definitely it was there. Also from my point of veiw the worse thing was the high was completely ruined. It was strong for sure, but not the clean nice and enjoyable high of the real sativas.
The seedbank claims the Zamal was crossed with a South India male. But here you have this that confirmed my fears:
