hey scf.

heres some things you can start buying to prepare for the build.

12 bio buckets and the 20 gallon reserviour that you need will hold around 90 gallons.

you will need a mag drive 1200 pump to circulate the water.

heres a link to a website that sells magdirve pumps for a good price.

mag drive pumps are the most reputable pump. mag drive or nothing.

if the noise of the pump running externally is a problem then you can have it sitting in seperate tub of water to reduce noise.

black 5 gallon buckets...

8 inch net pots

a reserviour to hold 20 gallons

a float valve

this step bit or conicial bit can drill all the holes you need.

uniseals..... for all your plumbing needs.

your pump's outlet size will determine the size pvc you will use as your main supply line.

the supply line will branch off to T's to each bucket with minimum 3/4 tubing.

3/4 heater tubing is what i used before.

you can also use hose clamps too. if you want. i diddnt and had not 1 leak.

ill post some more info in a bit. im about to go eat right now.

all the info you need is here too in bigtokes BioBucket 101

thats a great start. I will order that pump as soon as i got the cash for it... next few weeks. you are talking about the wp-ksp 12000a ? looks killer. Im gonna line my floor and start construction from there... Ill probably use cylnder blocks to put the buckets on like you suggested. And its cheap and easy.

thanks for your time

What about mounting a piece of wood, a 1x4 maybe, securely lag-bolted between two of the ceiling studs, and hanging the lights from that?

dont use those wing screws to hang your lights man. what if it breaks and the lights fall on your plants!! that would suck. be safe and and use a piece of wood like keefhead said or

ok what i did was find the beems in the room since i have awesome access ot the addict..... almost wanna grow in there..... i put up 2 lights so far the 2 600 watt lights.... im staying organic for now.... i hardwired a inline fan to the switch on the wall trying to distribute power. on the same line i have my vortex 6 inch..... do you think i am getting ristriction with 2 to 3 fans hooked up to the same line 6 inch going to the same place????

got some purple kush, og kush s1 cut, oddyse and some unknown clones..... 2 600 watt lights running off the same outlit just fine on 18 6. Temps are cool this is helping a lot.... really ccool. 30 at night.... newer house with great insulation....

so now i gotta figure out how i wanna do my vegginng portion, what lights, and where to run the wiring... and if my ventelation is proper... i have 2 6 inch fans 1 vortex, and a 6 inch regular heating and air vent inline fan. all hooked up to the same ducting going to a carbon filter...

i got some rino liner... iwill get pics if they will help! it we go

are you saying you have 3 fans on one 6 inch ducting line? it could restrict things but it depends how you have your room set up. like it wouldnt be restricting it if you have a long run of ducting with just 1 fan it might not be powerfull enough so you would add another fan to the other end or middle of the ducting line to 'Boost' the air flow.

i think ive read somewhere that every foot of ducting reduces your fans efficency by 7-15% and every 90 degree bend reduces the efficency by 20+%. well i got to go eat thanksgiving. peeace dude take care.
