Ok guys. I need you to come out of the wood works here. I am a medical user who wants to use PUre hash and edibles, and in order to do that i need to grow massive amounts of pot...

Ive decided that im going to do DWC Recirculation, or maybe Bonzo's style for flowering. For vegging, im not sure what would be easier... a drip system? with a ebb and flow effect?

also nutrients. I want to use the BEST nutrients for this is going to be my meds. i want the Best medication for Trichome growth as possible. Now i know this all depends on the environment and condtions such as, watering, nutrients, air co2, light, and loving care.

perfect conditions i can achive.

the help i need. How do i vent out... i know i can use the light up on the celeing i can detatch that and throw all my air into the addict... there is a Upstares attict. Room is probably 10 x 10 with a closet for vegging, clones etc...

A. What material and where do i buy water proofing stuff for floor?
B. What are the best nutrients for flavor and potencey.... im debating House and Garden 250 for the line of nutes US.....
C. Any suggestiongs for vegging/mothering room.
D. What should i use to divide the wall.. 4 mll plastic? Where do i purchase this?
E. should i exost air out a window if possible and draw new air... or should i put in a window AC unit which i own in the window..... ( or will this look suspecious having central air. But with my disablity i can say i need a dark AC room and we dont wanna wast electricity on the rest of the house??

Or we can run the AC all the time Central in the house, close all vents exept one in grow room. put in a therm in the grow room... complete control?

F. Carbon filters.. i have HUGE carbon filters 2 of them 5 feet tall. Should i hang them from the celing or put them in the attic?

Equipement i have...

Lights (1 1000 HPS ) (2 600 HPS hortolux bulbs )(1 1000 MH )( 2 150 HPS in same hood. ) I bought the large square hoods with 6 inch flanges
3 80 watt Floros 4 foot 2 bulb per light 40 watts each bulb.

Fans: 1 vortex 6 inch, i inline 6 inch good as vortex little louder, another 6 inch fan inline a lot loader than all of them. 4 inch blower,

8000 BTU AC

hanna meter all in one

3 256 Eco Pumps
1 air pump 35 watts

i wanna do a 12 to 18 bucket set up

help me out guys... gonna follow blaze one up, or any other suggestions i can get! Thanks for any and all help... i may have forgoten something so please ask if so. i can get whatever i need to make this the PERFECT grow! as i have elite strains and want to grow them right.. thanks so much!

A. 20ml lilly pond liner is the shit for flooring. Very resistant to punctures. You can get it at your local home improvement store.

B. Really personal preference here...they all work great if used correctly. I'd try to stay organic though if it's for med use...(dunno much about H&G personally).

C. Kinda depends on how many plants/strains you're gonna use, but assuming you're a prop 215 person, a 4'x3' area should be fine

D. Panda film for a wall...stay away from 4ml if possible as it's much more likely to tear and isn't usually light proof.

E. Dunno if an 8k window unit is gonna be enough for 2KW+ of light...it will probably work if you air cool the hoods and live in a moderate climate though. Do any of the other homes in your area have window unit ACs?

F. Hang the scrubber in the room...that way you won't be pushing the hot air from the lights through them and prematurely shortening the carbon's lifespan.

My personal setup for a 10x10 would be an 8 plant setup under 2K that takes up 4'x8' (+1' walkway all the way around it all) for a total of 6'x10'...that leaves you plenty of room for the 2 150w MH's as veg lights in the rest of the room.

Lemme know if that answers any of your questions or just makes it worse :D

I'd look into the KFB setup if I were you. But that's a difficult system to get down right. If you do get it down right it's the highest yielder out there. Plus it's perfect for us medical people because it's such a low plant count.

With that space and a kfb setup you would only grow 4 plants. Each plant would theoretically pull anywhere from 1-2.5 pounds in that setup. You'd have to use about 3000-3600W flowering.

You should try and figure a way to seal the room and use Co2 that will help.

As for nutes I would say there are plenty of options. Home & Garden is supposed to be good, but I know of no one using it. Botanicare is very popular. I use it and I really like it. GH makes some good lines. Advanced nutes are supposedly the bomb, but they are very expensive.

Do vertical lighting if you can. It really helps to maximize yields with big trees/bushes.

Add Co2 Seal room.

Use good high yielding genetics.

Use a hydro system that is good for growing trees/bushes.

DWC could work. Personally I'd rather do Bio-buckets or KFB cuz plants yield more in these systems so you need less of em. You gotta really study to do those systems though.

I used to want to do exactly what your talking about, but I gave up after realizing it was just not possible. Average bubble return is 5%. So to make an Oz you need to run about 500 grams of material.
It's just not worth it. You should look into a good vape and just run your trimmings. Baking bubble is even more expensive!

Good replies so far so all I will say is that if you plan on using a hydro system like bio, krusty, dwc, etc. where the roots are constantly watered and and submerged, get a chiller for your res. More flow is better but larger pumps will create heat so the balance is a tough one. A chiller will save you a headache.

you can use left over bubble trim for making butter. theres still some thc after doing a single run per batch. i agree get a vap.sandman answered the grow questions ^^^^

uhhh...how? read his post again he's a MEDICAL USER.
that material would just make green butter that tastes like pot.
no potency to it, which, from his first post, it appears he is after.

im still saying go with bio buckets. they can support trees, you NEVER have to worry about a water change every week and waisting money on good nutrients, once built its virtually maintenece free. the only exeption would be topping off your reserviour with fresh nutrients after you checked your EC.

Links please i have lots of study to do!!!! so hook me up with the links so i can start reading!!! if i can build Blazes.... which is easy... i can build anything now.... but 4 plant limit does not appeal to me.... one dies or fucks up... there goes a pound or 2... LOL

thank you all for such great thought out post..... im doing this VERY SOOOn.. withen the month. i will spend hours on end through out the night to figure out which way i wanna do things.... i got a budget... a good size one.... although i have just about everything i need...

so keep the options coming...

where do i buy liner for the floor? whtats it called...

I got my panda film at the hydro store...fifty feet for a little less than $50. The stuff also totally eliminates light leaks. The liner you can get at Home Depot--it's pond liner. At the HD I frequent, it's in the outside gardening area.

Use drywall and 2x4's to make your partitions.

If you want to use the entire 10x10 for bloom and can only have 12 plants, there are about a million and one systems you could use. I would probably cram about 5kw in that room. I would really focus on getting your environment set up first. with a 10x10 room completely full, you will need waaaay more than 8kbtu. Probably closer to 24kbtu. Foggers, dehumidifiers, co2 injection or generator, env. controllers with ppm acuracey, and power handlers all add up.

GH nutrients are the shit, but they're not organic. They will give you the best yields and are very cannabis specific.

24 btu holy shit thats industrial.... my hoods are air cooled... i was checking on this 3 in one AC/Dehumidyer, and heater. for like 350.... its 12,000 BTU... that seems more like it...

so im trying to rack my head of what this is gonna cost... i might just frame it with dry wall as you suggested... might be cheaper. but i may use the whole freaking room for flooring and make something else my vegging. or using the closet area for vegging mother... making shelves.. using like a ebb and flow type of deal? maybe maybe not.. i dont know damn it~ but i better decide soon cuz i got 3 weeks to buy supplies and then 4 days to set up! if that..... shit this is gonna be tough, on top of taking down my old grow room....eeek!

what do you think of that 3 in one idea for a AC? 60 litters of water a day.....

Air cooled horizontal lamps, well that's gonna cut down on the effective hight of your plants. Horizontal is more suitable for sea of green than for tree grows because of light penetration.

SCF - 24,000 BTU will require a dedicated 220 line too. 12,000 will draw, oh, maybe 12 amps or so at 110. Gotta keep it off the same line as the lamps though.

On portable air conditioners make sure you get one with the double hose. The single hose models get their radiator cooling air from inside the room, the double hose models get their cooling air (for the radiator, not the cool air for the room) from the outside. Very important if you're running CO2, or don't have a good filtered fresh air intake.

Remember that with one of those combination models, if one part goes bad, the whole unit may be non-functional. If you have a seperate unit for each function, if something fails, the other stuff will keep working. So far I've lost two res coolers, a dehumidifier, an air conditioner, and a heater over the last 3-4 years. Just my experience and a few thoughts.

The best suggestion I can give is do what works best for you. You'll get a lot of help from folks here, but in the end you gotta do what feels right to you.

I wish you the best of luck - and green grows.

im the kinda person that takes directions and runs with it..... when creating my own thing... its like another part of my brain... organize what???? i dont understand... this is where you the pros... and yes IMHO you all are pros. and i love ya for that.
