Cali Trainwreck?

I was wondering if anyone here has grown some out? Is it really as good as people say? I heard it was real hard to grow right too. I've been looking for a few months now... can't seem to find any. Actually, I've been hunting for Chemdog, Trainwreck and Blockhead for a while now. Anyone give some useful advice or no?

Experience with these strains? Pics of these strains during grow and final cut?

there is more than enough info on all these strains, a search will answer all your questions. There are posts on these strains everyday. Haven't grown it, it's pretty darn good smoke wise, supposed to be hard to grow b/c it grows like a vine.

TW is good. got some from humboldt county. A lot of people grow it out there. if you are 215 check the clubs in the bay area i'm sure you can get a cutting around there. it's good medicine. i think it's sativa. grows like one. stretches a bit in flower. finishes 7 1/2-8 weeks. smells extremely skunky/pissy while growing and dried. taste lemon/fuel/skunky. equal head/body high.

I have come across 2 different Trainwrecks, several times. One has an almost pepperminty smell... The other just smells dank.. I'm assuming thats the Wreck DontLockMeUp is talking about with the skunky/pissy descrip..

Both are pretty good strains. A nice out of reality buzz on the wreck... I like the peppermint stuff more. Trainwreck isn't one of those strains that is great all the time IMO... It starts to lose it's edge rather quickly when smoked constantly.

Trainwreck seeds are not commercially available...

i agree you can totaly get a tolerance for tw. i think sour d is the only thing i haven't ever grown a tolerance to. after weeks of smoking it i still got ripped. pain in the arse to grow sour d though. trainwreck is much easier and the smell gives it good bag appeal.

my trainwreck grew into a christmas tree shaped light green plant and smelled like lemon pledge. I grew here from some trainwreck bagseed. It wasnt that difficult to grow in my opinion, unlike the thai I tried for the first time and totaly screwed up. Ive gotten a few tw clones from the clubs here in the bay and they turned out to either be romulan or something else other than tw. I wish I could find a real verified tw clones because she absolutly deserves a spot in the garden.

Damn, Trainwreck is a hot topic. I don't live on the west coast, so I've never smoked any TW. I want some so bad, if anyone could hit me off with a cutting or a seed, I'd drive 1000 miles. Let keep a post going for a while on trainwreck.

Can IC really get TW? Time shall tell, i'm dying for a taste.

OG used to have it in there strain guide. i believe they said that it had thai in it and that it was all sativa.

Darthvapor had the pheno that i know as tw.

everytime i get tw i end up getting mites really bad. i think it's just the gardener i get it from. they use a lot of chemical pesticides around there so by the time the bugs get to me they are immune to anything i would even consider spraying on them. i only use neem now and it's just too weak. neem combats anything i come accross around here but those humboldt mites are bionic or something. i have a thread going about my pineapple punch x tw that i am running. they all grew like trainwreck. half of them smell like pineapple half like the lemony tw.

The pineapple trainwreck is a hot item in my area. Goes quick, never enough to meet the demand. Ive also heard of a twxaghani too but never tried it. Ive seen tw and the twxafg at the clone market in clearlake. Ive never seen pineapple tw offered in clone form

i made these seeds myself. i gave a few hundred away to people i know in humboldt, trinity and mendo. only kept 8 for me. sounds and looks like i should have kept more. i've had that tw x afgahni you are speaking of. pretty good stuff. not much flavor but nice warming afgahni stone.

All the trainwreck I have dealt with has grown like a vine and smelled of cat piss for real. It is a good daytime smoke but it just can't compete potency wise with all the other stuff floatin around the bay for sure. I had a clone for a couple of months back in 02 that was so smelly it almost teared you up if you just rubbed the stems. Alas, I lost it while on a drunken binge - in the garden and stumbled right on top of it and to make shit worse!! I pulled the light down on both of us trying not to fall burned the shit outta my arm and just sat on the fucking plant. By the time I sobered up and got back to the garden she was gone!! Stumpy from Paradise, Ca. where you at man?

For those that cant get trainwreck, Ive tried willie nelson from reeferman. It has that trainwreck smell like lemon pledge, but its way more potent than trainwreck with the same type of high. I dont know if it has the same medical properties which is why most patients choose the tw, but for me it was super potent high grade smoke.

Dontlockmeup: We get our pineapple tw from a dude up in mendo who is the only guy I know who grows it. He is out in 3 days the shit is so good. Lol its prob the guy you gave the seeds too. Small world if its true!!

i wouldn't want to take claim for someone elses work but that would be pretty cool if it were my seeds. i crossed my cannalope haze male with trainwreck and the shit was awsome. gave the same people these also. i'm sure they all sared seeds with people in that area too.

from my research i believe there are two real deal train wreck cuts, the first being the arcata cut wich is the lemon pledge mixed with fuel smell with lime green buds completely covered in hairs and bairly any if any noticble orange hairs, then there is a cut call im not sure here but ithink its called E-32, no expeirence with that cut tho, As far as trainwreck goes theres not to many strains that pack a more powerfull funner high then the wreck does. As far as lineage i hear 2 brothers in california in bread a select mexican and columbian for 15 years till they reached the perfection that is the arcata trainwreck cut...

to me theres no doubt it has some southeast asia lineage in it for sure. Its the smell, most of the buds I was checking out at the cup last year that were sativas of southeast asia pedigrees had that lemons and chemicals smell. That was some excellent smoke , and funny enough it wasnt even in the ht cup just smoke from regular heads like you guys
