C99xHaze seeds

So I should be able to hit it straight off with a dilute guano tea rated at approx. 6-12-7 and bump it with a bloom enhancer when it shows flowers? I can't afford the PBP nutes right now but it is on my "To try soon" list. I grow in CoCo, perlite, worm castings and for this plant I added a touch of 8-4-1 guano and soluble seaweed (for K) to the transplant mix (Normally I feed them strictly through teas/watering). I started in a 4" pot and transfered to a 1 gallon and will end up in a 5 gallon bucket. Does this sound like a recipe for success or disaster?? I have some sativa experience but not with extended flowering periods like a Nevilles. I might need a guide through this grow. Thanks JLP and Blatant. I'm a dental floss tycoon. I could be of some help in that department although I don't live in , or plan to move to Montana. Peace all. Herb

Hi Herb,

I never did understand the purpose of the "zircon-encrusted twizzers", but perhaps that was a different song?

Anyway, you may not have an exended flowering period with all the C99xHaze. I expect 60 days from my first one.

Now the Phoenix seeds may go a bit longer, I'm hoping.

peace!

"Surely one of the saddest quotes I have read in recent weeks came from an American military reservist who works in a prison in civilian life and was allegedly involved in the abuses at Abu Ghraib: “The Christian in me says it’s wrong,” he purportedly told the soldier who reported the abuses. “But the corrections officer in me says, “I love to see a grown man piss himself'.” I’d really like to think that none of us is enjoying any part of this—including, among those who opposed the war, any sense that recent events are some kind of vindication, if there is any such thing, which I also tend to doubt. But aren’t we all a little bit like that man, who shocks us not only with his cruelty but with his honesty? In a democracy, we are all to some extent morally complicit in the acts of our government and those who represent it."

HerbWeedman: That sounds fine. I went a lil over a week with my Grow formula instead of a Flowering formula during the the first weeks of flowering. Since it is a Long Finishing Sativa I figured I better keep the Nitro up a lil longer I don't want a yellow plant in the 8th week. I think depending on the size you flower in is gonna dictate what size pots your gonna need. Mine will finish in a 6 inch 1 gallon pot. I figure a 2-3 gallon pot will do it fine if flowering at a short height. I think the Cindy pheno will be done at about 70 days and the others 80-90. They're not hard to grow at all.

This grow is making me feel like I might have a 70 day finisher in my 15 seeds of haze x G13 if I'm lucky............don't know which finishes faster cindy or JLP's version of G13. Thanks man.
I think zircon encrusted tweezers were necessary to make Dyna-Mo hummmmmmmmmm:D

Mmm, how about some C99 x Haze pics huh? Here it is at day 1 of flower. Already showing a nice stretch, as you can notice I kept it bonsai style. But now it has paid off with many branches that should fill in with dense nugs. Enjoy the pics.

You can see in the last two pics where I trimmed branches to keep it small. Now it is starting to get big, hope it doesn't over run my grow room :). Check the G13 thread to find pics of my G13's. Keep it green.

Take care!

Thanks Blatant and Morgan. I'm glad I thought to add a bit of N to the transplant mix. It'll be going in the flower room today (Election Day will be easy to remember) and it will have it all to itself for a week or so starting the 8th when I chop my last HK X Durga. Thanks again everyone. Blatant your pics are awesome. snl25 looking good. :canabis: Looking forward to the smoke reports.

Story of two phenos

Story of two phenos

JLP said:
Nice job guys :)

Hey Freakazoid,
If the plant shows sex in less than 30 days you can usually expect a 90 or less flowering time.If it takes 30-60 days to show sex it will have a 90-120 flower time.
If yours showed sex at 20 days it will probably finish around 60-70 days.

Yeild on the phenos I grew were about medium. The plants grew huge but the bud is a little wispy.

JLP:)

It's interesting, because the one plant showed sex at 20 days, the other did at 23 to 24, and the male showed sex a couple of days after that. What a difference, though!

The first one is fairly tall, but not monstrous in height, and has been filling in flowers for a while now.

The second one is either still stretching, or is barely done stretching. It's a good 15 to 18 inches taller than the first, much lankier, still isn't filling in with the flowers yet. If it's still stretching, I only have about 6 more inches I can raise my HPS in the closet, so I'm going to have to tie it down or something.

As it is, I have a phone book under the first one to get is closer to the HPS. I'm going to have to use a second, definitely, and maybe a third. I'm going to have to raise my shoplights from the floor (they're vertical) as well.

When I harvest, I'm going to keep the two separate for comparision sake. I'll try and get a photo or two up next week.

Pretty wild difference for showing sex only a few days apart.

Gotta say, this is a lot of fun. Have I thanked you yet JP?

My C99 x Haze started showing sex about 2 months ago, way before I initiated flowering. Only 12 days into flowering and the C99 x Haze started spewing calyxes over the branches with nice milky white pistils. It definitely seems like it is starting to bud, more and more calyxes are developing everywhere. It is now 15 days into flower, I hope it packs on weight real fast. It also looks like a SSH pheno, been comparing to SSH photos. Didn't have as much of a stretch as I thought it would. I'd say it stretched 5 - 6 inches. I think the elongated veg time helped bring down the stretch and ultimately the total flower time. Well, we'll see how it goes. I am just praying it has a nice yield to it. I'll have pics up real soon. Keep it green.

Take care!

What a difference

What a difference

Here's Plant #2 - she showed her sex at 23 to 24 days -

Here's plant #1, showed sex earlier, at day 20, and is filling in more

Here they are, side by side

Here's a closeup of plant #1

Here's a closeup of plant #2

I now have plant #1 on two phonebooks so they can be equally close to the HPS, which I keep having to raise. I think #2 is just about done stretching, and I lashed the HPS directly to the closet rod, so unless I take the rod out and bolt it to the shelf just above the rod, there's only about two or three more inches it can grow until it's almost into the light. The nice thing about having a 100 watt HPS is you can get practically on it and not burn, using the "back of the hand" test.

Kind of wild seeing how different the phenos are with only a few days separating them.

Looks good freakazoid. I got a male Cindy-Haze on 4th day of flower along with a Mango female. Yours looks to be more sativa then my male, and its still filling in nicely.

Nice plants Freakazoid :)

You'll see some variation. If you grow these again you'll get a bushier, shorter plant by topping them.Hopefully they are about done stretching.

Good luck.

Definitely will top when I do the rest, but even knowing that going in, I would have let them go like this just to see how they express themselves.

Here is the finished result of two of my plants. Both were the C99 pheno and finshed in 70 days. I have one more that was the Haze pheno that was chopped on Monday so that one will be posted in a few days. But for now I just have these, Enjoy!

Nice buds Blatant :)

They look very similar to the ones I grew, kind of semi-dense nugs.Do they have a fruity Cindy smell?

Actually its not the fruity cindy smell. It's more along the lines of the Hazey smell and taste, Spicy and hashy. The smoke is mind numbing. I took a few rips and felt liike I was being pulled to one side by something. Pretty funny. Also if your not just sitting on the couch this thing wont put you out. Very workable high, but I can never hide it my eyes practically bleed everytime I smoke.

Blatant- Nice work. Mine went under 12/12 on the 5th or 6th of November (to let the election Karma drift away some) and SHE is showing as of last night. I need to get some G13 X Haze going a bit stronger and hope for a nice dude. Thanks again JLP.

Hi(gh) JLP!

Hi(gh) JLP!

JLP you rock the house!

Your Cindy Haze is fabulous, i just love it and so does everybody that i shared with!

These beautifull plants are surely gonna be my bet for my first outdoor project, they pack up like trains in India!

From 4 seeds i got 3 females and a male - i'm only sad because i didn't manage to keep a clone of any of the plants but i managed to make some F2's off all plants, i just hope they're looked with the parents...

My Cindy Haze's favourite pheno has this pungent smell, not so fruity, but as stenchy as the most diesel'ish Juliets, i would risk to say!
I never tried C99 so i can't really sort out the 'so clear' influence on the phenos..

Keep up the fine work!

Damn!

Damn!

#2 stretched a few more inches, so I am going to have to bolt the HPS to the closet shelf.

I'm pretty sure it's done. I went away for four days this weekend, and when I looked in my closet it's like all the existing flowers just exploded.

The less sativa plant is packing on the weight, and now the more sativa one is starting to fill in, so I think we're done with stretch.
:canabis:

I'll try and get a couple more photos and put them up here later this week.
