Looks great here, Why did you take off the cover on your circulation fan?

Keeping people inspired since '10.

Cheers,
BeL

I dont remember exactly I think to save some space and maybe it felt like more air was moving without the cover on the front. I still run 1 of those fans like that blowing on my bulb. That one in that pic was just sitting there at the time of that pic.

Bueno, Looking sweet man! i like the set up! R+

Thanks man

you need some femmized seeds, read phenos collodial silver thread for the win

Ya I know I have made a collodial silver generator and reversed a Purple Kush clone I had went full male but wouldnt produce actual pollen grains.

Still going to do that though one day maybe next run I can do that making some feminized seed stock. Ive got hundreds of seeds and like 11 different crosses I have made so far lol.

About to buy the same tent

My question is do you think i will be able to fit this inside of a cabinet that is exactly 30" wide? like even a hair less. Would you mind sharing with me exact exterior dimensions.

Thanks Mucho,
BeL

Its like 29.5" wide or a hair more but its under 30" wide outside width at widest point. Around 17.75" deep and around 35.5" tall. All outside measurements with tape measure.

Hey, looking good. Are you going to scrog, or what? How much do u usually yield with your setup?

I like your tent very much, as you know. You always give me inspiration.

I grow on about the same area that you got, but i grow with a 250w MH instead of your 150w (HPS?).
So you see why your thread intrests me. I always check it out when i´m logged in here on icmag.

Untopped single cola plants this round in sog format.

Usually 3.5oz or a little more first 3 runs in this tent but last run with scrog was only 2.5oz.

Sounds cool I have thought about trying a 250 in my tent a few times but just never pulled the trigger yet.

You should start up a thread of your setup or if you have one shoot me a link.

I think you meant more right? LOl how could there be less veg time than 12/12 from seed?

No I never have done 12/12 from seed. I had started a Purple Wreck fem 12/12 from seed but I chopped it due to root aphid infestation around that time I had to cut everything clean up hella good and start over fresh.

The last sog I ran from clones and a few seeds was about 3 weeks veg from seed and first signs of rooting.

This run the plants in the sog only got 2 weeks veg from seed, no clones this run.

Thanks Bueno for your excellent thread. I was just wondering what brand bulb you are using and how often you change it?

I just use whatever standard hps bulbs are cheapest, no special spectrums or grow bulbs.

I change them about every 2-3 10 week flower cycles or atleast once every 6 months if not sooner.

I try to get bulbs that are around $10 each so its cheap to swap em out more often and keep the efficiency up with only 150w to begin with you have to take advantage of everything you can.

wow what a garden you have going bueno! :respect:
what is the soil mix you have? i am inspired by this thread, and want to buy the same tent you have to put my 150 in there.. this is amazing work man!
Good luck with the seeds, sending good vibes for mostly females!!

Thanks for stopping by and glad I inspired you.

My soil mix is never exact and sometimes I add more or less quantity and variety of amendments to the mix but the base of the mix is Fox Farms Ocean Forest and I generally add perlite and some earthworm castings and a couple other things here and there.

Ive also had good results in straight ocean forest with nothing added. Keep it simple at first and then tweak it as you go along.

It's all looking great bro! Very impressive. :)

Thanks for stopping by as well.

hey bueno, im inspired by your setup so i bought the same tent you have:dance013:
i am stuck on entilation though, i have a 70 cfm exhaust fan, not a whisper.. would this work to pull air out of the tent through a can filter like yours..? also where did you get that can filter?, i cant find one with the same dimensions..
Do you have a duct fan blowing air in for intake?
sorry for all the questions, i just see that this setup is killer and it is working wonders for you.. Im a cabinet guy but i need more stealth and a more controlled environment, you have it.:thank you:

It could work I cant say for sure how well the cfm of your particular fan will hold up when hooked up to a carbon filter but its worth a shot and if it doesnt work then worst case scenario you get a different fan but Id give it a shot. Also over sized carbon filter like I am using helps with the fan efficiency with maintaining cfm.

I cant find the place I got mine from it was some powersports company oddly enough but found some other places.

My particular filter is the Mountain Air MA0620 6" inlet diameter, 10" overall diameter, 20" long, 265cfm.

Greners wants $220+shipping for it (yikes)
http://www.greners.com/i/fans-venti...ers/mountain-air-activated-carbon-filter.html

Indoor Tech wants $200+shipping for it (yikes)
http://www.indoor-tech.com/store/products/MountainAir-Filter-6X20.html

Hydroponic solutions wants $146+shipping for it (good price, I paid like $180 for mine with shipping from a different place)
http://hydroponic-solutions.com/products/carbonfilter.htm

Maybe there are some cheaper but those are a few I found.

And no sort of fan for the intake just passive intake the air being sucked in and through the tent by the exhaust. I upgraded my tents intake with an 8" duct flange adapter kit I got off ebay for around $16-18 and HIGHLY recommend it with this tent setup lowered my temps drastically and improved airflow through the tent greatly. So anyway the intake is an 8" diameter hole in the tent on the bottom of the opposite side of the tent from the exhaust fan.

Yeah its pretty cramped in there lol. Took one confirmed male out after those pics of them all in the tent but still pretty tight fit.

Hoping they stop stretching now there isnt a whole lot more height available. They all got their stems pinched on the internodes in a couple places last night though.

I need them to stop height growth and start full budset. Two of the SWT are very close to that point others have just shown a few preflowers.

Cant wait to see the tent chock full o buds again though its always a good sight.

looking good up in here. and ohh ok i understand now.

any reason you are always switching up your strain selection and never keeping mothers?

i know that variety is the spice of life but damn you haven't found anything worth keeping yet?

or do you not have room for mothers and clones?

I have found a few phenos worth keeping over the years from seed and basically all of the clone strains I grew last SOG were keeper worthy in their own ways. I just get sick of the same stuff after too long or too many grams consumed of it gets old to me.

Plus there are so many strains to try, I cant get stuck on anything for too long. I like to try new strains a lot.

love the project bueno,

popcorn as usual!! :)

Thanks

Also last night while watering the girls, I was able to confirm the last unsexed plant BJ1 as a female.

So 10 females of 15 seeds started:

2 of 3 Platinum Jones turned out female (PJ1 and PJ3). PJ2 got chopped.
3 of 4 Blackberry Jones turned out female (BJ1 BJ2 BJ4). BJ3 got chopped.
4 of 6 SWT#4 IBL turned out female (SWT1 SWT3 SWT5 SWT6). SWT2 and SWT4 are continuing flowering outdoor.
Bagseed turned out male and was chopped.
OG Kush S1 obviously a female.

Things got a bit out of control in the tent. Plants stretched to fucking hell and I had to train them in place and not remove them until harvest so I didnt get pics like I would normally do every week.

Here are some pics though in the tent Day 62 12/12
