yeah too many plants get rediculous, you're right.

Ya it can get a little ridiculous. That doesnt mean it cant be done with great results theres plenty of people that do the dr bud style high density sea of green method and it works great.

I just dont think its for me, especially in a very dry climate they dry up fast and need more frequent waterings.

I might be getting one up sometime soon for a small "supplemental" grow.

May need to pick your brain once I get it all apart.

Feel free to pick the brain. The great folks in the 150w club are always there to help too.

You could easily use that light you posted. You can pretty much retrofit or modify any MH or HPS light to work for growing. eBay has good prices on some units too at times.

bt nice harvest , i think i might get a 400 switchable so i can go smaller turn it to 50 percent , then if i want i can go do a whole closet with it on 75 percent or full power. have ya ever filled yer cab with 1 gallon bags?

No never with just 1 gallon bags in the tent. Ive used 1 gallon bags along with 3 gallon bags or 2 gallon bags in the tent.

i will need yalls help when I get it and ripped apart, no time frame, just something i am planning in the next month or so.

it would be nice to have a small cab or tent that i could pull 2-3oz out of every 2 months just to have some more variety and keep me stocked up when my 400w isn't running.

love what Bueno is doing in this thread. i thought about 6 plants under 1 150w , too many plants? even if they yield 1/2oz each that'd be great.

6 plants is very doable under a 150. A couple runs back I had a run of 6 LSTd plants I think.

It is a very good way to get some extra variety or try out new strains maybe find some nice phenos to clone from for the big tent even you never know.

I have a question about the bags you use. I have been using plastic pots I drilled a lot of holes in so they look like swiss cheese. But I still get dampening sometimes (staying wet on the bottom of the pot, keeping the girlies feet wet, that's not good, I wouldn't like it much ;-). That causes some stunting sometimes and not allowing the roots full access. I think the problem is the plastic pots can't "breathe", and want to try bags. I live in a high humidity area. ALWAYS high humidity.

What sort of bags do you use? I would think paper bags if gotten wet when watering, would get weak and break. I have 9 jute, grocery recyclable bags, but those babies are BIG. Might try a couple though. Just not fill 'em to the top with the dirt.

I just use the cheap panda film bags that are white on the outside and black on the inside made of thin plastic.

I have 4 3 gallon oregon breather bags I would like to use at some point but when I got them I found out I couldnt fit all 4 in the tent at once and I havent used them yet.

You might be good to use some cloth grow bags like smart pots or similar.

The first SOG with the clones and a couple seedlings had a little less veg than this run which is all from seed. Probably 2 n a half weeks from rooting/seed on that run.

Ya 15 1/2 gallon grow bags in there right now. Only 1 seed the OG Kush s1 is feminized and the 1 bagseed could very well be an s1 as well but cant be sure so 13-14 of 15 could be males or females so I dont know how many will end up going the distance in the tent. Hoping for atleast 9 females though.

I bought the tent off eBay for $58 shipped they upped the price to $63 shipped 3 days after I bought mine and now they are $73 shipped.

Same tent, same seller. Pic in auction isnt a pic of the actual tent. The tent you receive will be the same as the one I have.

I grow on about the same area that you got, but i grow with a 250w MH instead of your 150w (HPS?).

I think you meant more right? LOl how could there be less veg time than 12/12 from seed?

I am also using my 80cfm Panasonic Whisper (FV-08VKS2) that I had from last 150 cab I had built.

The Bulenath style carbon scrubber I used last time that didnt work well in mid to late flowering as far as odor control and made the fan sound like a jet airplane.

This time I went with a 4" can style carbon filter that measures 8" diameter x 18" long with a 2" thick layer of carbon and it is designed for far more cfm than the panasonic fan is rated at to help with air flow efficency since I have the fan blowing through the filter and also the Panasonic fan I have has some sort of back pressure monitoring system (no clue how it works but it does) that when there is resistance either before or after the blower it speeds the motor rpm up to maintain cfm and has a little switch to set it at 30 40 50 60 70 or max cfm which is sweet. It is set at max cfm and is damn near silent which is super stealth and I love it! It is so much better and quieter than the other scrubber I had in the old cab.

Here is a pic of the fan/filter setup I have a 6" air duct connected to the intake of the fan which mates up perfectly to the 6" duct location on the tent.

hey bueno, im inspired by your setup so i bought the same tent you have
i am stuck on entilation though, i have a 70 cfm exhaust fan, not a whisper.. would this work to pull air out of the tent through a can filter like yours..? also where did you get that can filter?, i cant find one with the same dimensions..
Do you have a duct fan blowing air in for intake?
sorry for all the questions, i just see that this setup is killer and it is working wonders for you.. Im a cabinet guy but i need more stealth and a more controlled environment, you have it.

So after 15 days 12/12 I have an update for the thread. All plants have shown sex except one I think BJ1. So far 9 females, 5 males, 1 unsexed. Both SWT males are outdoor to mature for pollen collection and seed making if all goes well. All other males are chopped and trashed.
