Day 55 12/12

Sorry I havent been updating lately, the OXs and PB look like hell, worst looking plants Ive grown in many years. Really messed up re-using depleted and half-assed re-amended soil mix, wasnt a good idea and I didnt want to give bottled nutes so I just let them go with the extremely early yellowing turned to fan leaves browning and falling off, shriveling up, etc. Buds themselves still look good very frosty and smell great and are ripening up a bit but going to take them 1-2 more weeks before I chop them. I will get pics up of the harvested buds and obviously smell and smoke reports on each pheno once they get a little cure time in. Still have a mother of each until I decide which to keep and give a proper run.

The Sugar Jones clones are almost finished and I am going to harvest in a couple days and will get some pre-harvest pics up of those beasts before I chop them down.

I just started 6 CSG Chem D x Girl Scout Cookies testers that I will be giving the whole flowering tent for next run, 1 per sq ft in 3 gallon containers of a better soil mix I made this time.

That stinks about the dirt. Your last grow was so amazing looking that I imagine it was necessary for you to hit a bump to balance out the universe.

So why not the coco, you aren't a convert yet? You can re-use coco a dozen times.

Was the flavor different?

Havent got to sample the product yet but the best tasting and smelling buds I have grown have always been organic. Going to see how the Sugar Jones turned out in the coco. I can say it is extremely easy to keep the plants healthy with constant balanced nute profile with the synthetic nutes. I am using it on all my mother plants (Floranova Bloom).

I do notice a smell difference between the Floranova Bloom and the FNB and Floralicious + cut. The one I watered with the FL+ smells like when I grew it in organic soil and the one with just FNB smells a little less sweet and a little more chemmy. Im curious to see if and how the smoke differs between the two. If the smoke of the coco/synthetic buds tastes as good and smokes as smooth then I may switch to just coco in the future, its easy and the yield increase is very noticeable.

Sorry to hear about your plants! I still admire your work Bueno, a bad run happens to every one once in a while. I can totally vouch for Coco, with Cannas products it always tasted good, never did a side by side though.. Organics are cool, but not sure if it's actually more environmentally friendly? anyways, taking the bike instead of the car probably makes a bigger difference.. Never recycled coco more then 2 times, but if you do it 15 times, you actually needs to take the car much less often! :)

I was going to harvest both the Sugar Jones last night and I could only harvest one, took up over 75% of the drying tub. I pulled the Sugar Jones out that was in the front row in the tent and I was blown away by the amount of bud and weight on this thing every single branch snapped over at a 90 degree angle, I couldnt stand it up to take pictures so I layed it down in the bath tub on its side and started chopping branches off and hanging them in the drying tote. The pics do no justice for size and amount of buds, there are colas laying on top of colas in the pictures so you cant even see whats all there, again I am beyond impressed with the yield from one lady in 3L of coco and just Floranova Bloom the whole grow for nutes.

For a little size comparison this was the same girl on day 35 12/12. You can kind of tell how much fatter she got by harvest time, a bush of nuggets.

Here is the rootball from the harvested Sugar Jones clone, it was actually 2.75L container not 3L, very solid rootball it was hard to break apart. Roots tinted brown from the Floranova Bloom but otherwise healthy.

^Nice nephrosis

I got the other Sugar Jones harvested tonight day 63 12/12, this one was also given Floranova Bloom like the other cut and also given Floralicious Plus @ 1mL/gal ratio for most of the flowering period. Curious to see what difference the FL+ made once these both get dried up and some cure time. Basically that was the point of giving one cut FL+ and one cut just FNB to see if the FL+ is worth the extra cost per gallon of mixed nutrient solution vs only FNB.

Really bad pics but whatever I was in a hurry and it she was hanging upside down. Doesnt look that big in the pics but its as big or bigger than the other Sugar Jones was and took up the whole drying tub to herself. Also she is looking yellowed with the last 3 weeks I tapered down ~100ppm per day with double runoff of normal watering and then straight RO with substantial runoff each day for the last 2 weeks so shes probably flushed pretty good.

Just weighed up the first Sugar Jones cut that was only given Floranova Bloom and RO water the whole grow, veg and flower in 2.75L coco hand watered drain to waste 2x a day in mid to late flower. In the jars at 60% humidity, she yielded 83.7g total trimmed dried buds off the stems, 9.7g was seeded buds that I hit with some OX and PB pollen and 74g of unseeded nuggetry.

Blown away by the yield honestly, 4 of these would fit in my tent and that is almost 12oz dry bud from 190w of LED dissipation or 220w at the wall socket with fan and power supply/driver losses included.

Ill get some pics up of the buds soon and the other Sugar Jones should be dry enough to start trimming tomorrow and get in cure zone to check weight. OXs and PB coming down in 3-4 days unless I decide to let them go a few days longer for some extra amber.

And next run will be the 6 Chem Cookies testers in 3gal bags and OX1 OX2 OX3 again in 1gal bags on the side.

Day 15 from seed

Transplanted the 6 Chem Cookies to 3 gallon bags. They are the 6 on the left, only had 3 Oregon Breather 3gal bags so I used 3 plastic 3gal bags with the tops folded down so a bit less than 3 gal in those. Sprinkled a really small amount of Azospirillum and Mycorrhizae in each hole when transplanting.

Not sure if I want to top them yet or not but probably will. Got them continuing veg now under the 3000K COBs, red/blue bars are off for now.

Hey thanks for stopping in blynx.

The lineage is Chem D x Girl Scout Cookies forum cut (reversed)

A direct cross of two excellent clone onlys, should be good no matter the pheno I would think.

Ive got a dried/curing total for the last harvest.

Floranova Bloom only Sugar Jones clone 74g sensi buds + 9.7g seeded buds
FNB and Floralicious+ Sugar Jones clone 71.4g
OX1 18.7g
OX2 13.8g
OX3 14.6g
Seeded OX buds 16.1g
PK Bubba 16.4g sensi buds +6.5g seeded buds

3.95g bubble hash from Sugar Jones trim
1.06g bubble hash from OX trim
.32g bubble hash from PK Bubba trim

209g sensi buds + 32.3g seeded + 5.3g bubble hash

Pretty damn legit for 190w LED dissipation and 220w at the plug (heatsink fans/LED drivers included). I will get some pics of the buds up too eventually.
