Bubba x Kali China feminized R + D - New Mexico legal outdoor in soil

Hear ye, hear ye, fired up the old computer to post about a grow that's begun. Dubi in his usual generous way gifted me some really cool beans to play with and I fired these abovementioned fems up to run outdoors in happy frog. I love Kali China crosses and haven't tasted Bubba Kush since A-dam back around 2010, thought it'd be a nice, fat leaved alternative to my usual haze and satty inspired tokes that'd finish nicely here at 7500ft. Alongside, I'll be running a couple of Romulan from my own seeds made with Jake's "BX1", or as many females as I get from 3 beans, and some other stuff, blueberries and lemons and cherry whatnots.
Here's the spot that'll host 12 smallish plants.

The topped Bubbas x KC are the least visible in the above pic; first in the second line from left, in a white pot in second position, barely visible, but healthy, then at the far right of the tent, next to the lightest green plant is the second. SHould be a fun season (famous last words). Plant out is in ten days. See youse then

All righty, June 1 was plant out for most known females including the chosen larger Bubba x KC. Here she is the day after transplant along with the plot and other plants. I still have the other Bubba x KC and a fem BC Blueberry that will get spots vegging under lights. She's got a badass crown from my usual fimming

Here are my 3 Romulan from a selection I made from BX1 plants. There's an Item #9 on right

Old DP blueberry strain with new parents from a friend in Switzerland. All have different mothers selected for mutation and taste, one uniquely for blueberry terps and chem/potency on the third. Had some from last year and is very, very good.

Here's the plot area just finished building out.

Hey, Sir Dubi, always good to read you! I had to think of one of yours that could finish here at 7500ft altitude; this Bubba x KC should be juuuuust fine I'll probably find a way to run both examples I popped. I just transplanted the first Romulan girl; they also finish well here. Have to try the Green Mountain stuff, sounds like it's up my alley...

Nothing like updating every two weeks Just got back from a road trip, set up drip watering before I left on my grove girls. Have 2 my Romulan and 2 fem Bubba Kush x Kali China now in the ground a bit earlier than I wanted. Number one is big already, and number 2 is about the size I wanted them to be at this stage. Going for small plants as I'm in town.

Whoops, got away from me again. Here are the girls July 7, one of the blueberries starting to flower, and Romulan and Bubba x Kali China looking good. Bubba KC is dark, has fat, sturdy stems, the biggest leaves in the plot. Gonna produce.

My romulan from the BX1 seeds, no purp to her. The mom had red pistils and earthy terps, oldschool stone.

Here's the beauteous Bubba x Kali China. Any Kali China mix for me is good. Special. She's large and threatening. Future bondage will be in order.

Getting into the interesting period, girls are doing great if not a little bigger than I wanted at this stage. Some BB are in flo. Even the last planted have caught up and look too big. Here's the grove a few minutes back. Girls are hungry, need to grab some Maxsea and hit 'em good for stretch. Need to put some more caging up. The white is Diatomaceous earth.

Here's the Bubba x Kali China doing perfectly. Leaves are as advertised. Big fat girl. 4ft tall.

My Romulan - really looks like the Mom from a few years back. Hoping for a smaller yielder with some boutique smoke, but who knows?

Alright alright, looking pretty beautiful in the grove these days. Girls are massive and yellowing at the bottoms, just top dressed with Build a Soil flower top dress. Trying to stay low effort.

Bubba is the plant at the far left of the shot above. Pics taken an hour ago, August 19.

Here's the Romulan for this year, also a branch from a rom dude who may cross with everyone out there. This year's rom looks like the mother plant with red stems and light green leaves. Satty, feathery start to flower. Def not an S1 copy of romgenetics clone.

Here's Bubba x Kali China. SHe has very floral terps, some sweetness and rock solid buds. Prolly Oct 1 finish

The plants have been really healthy throughout their growing stage, and now large in flowering, producing good sized resinous colas at a quick pace. They definitely feel your expertise after all these years!

The Bubba kush x Kali China looks like a quite common phenotype of the strain in look, growth and now also in flowering traits. Should be ready in approx 2 weeks, more or less.

Hey, Sir Doobs Thank you for chiming in, I think you're spot on for October 1 harvest. SYd and Fronk have both said this is a heavy hitter, so pretty excited. Smells are lilac, light floral and stank. Another week Taking down another 4 or 5 at the same time or aroundabouts.

Here's Bubba x KAli China sep 24. I've run haze x kali china (phenomenal), zamaldelica x kali china (smoked only that for a year) C5 x Kali China that you see on the website and now this kali china bubba cross. I've never run the original Kali China, just all around it

Another week and blammo.
