Bubba Kush nugs...70 days...

Here is a little branch I cut off the other night to test.
I think I'll let it go for 75-80 days because it is such a big bush.
Needs to finish all the way down to the bottom.Plus I'm not seeing enough amber and cloudy under the scope ,not even on top.
So I'm waiting for that.
Big bushes take longer. The way this strain was grown at least.












This last one is the Kali Mist x Pure Kush,pretty bomb no yield.
I need to cross it with something similar with more of a yield.
Maybe cross it to Pure or Kali Mist again.Or Mustang Mist?we'll see about that strain first.

I take a 3 gallon bucket fill it halfway with Happy frog (or Ocean Forest if you can't get happpy frog)Then I fill the rest up to about 2-3 inches from the top with light warrior and add chunky parlite over flowing a little over the top.
Then I put in a trashbag and add 1 or 1-1/2 tablspoons of Fruit N' flower from Fox farm(this is the key). Mix it really well.
Then add the plant and water.
With this mix you can not over water because you wil over feed if you do.
Just especially in the beging water when half the medium is dry. Right before the leaves would start to curl from lack off water. And you'll have no problems.
If youover water it will make those wierd looking twisted leaves and bent down ramhorns also.
But worse of all if you use a high dose of fruit n flower over watering will hermie your plants.
So use it lightly.
Consider the amount your adding to the soil minus the perlite in it.
So in a 3 gallon pot.
With a soil mix of 60% perlite and 40% Soil.
Obnly add enough nutes as if you awere using that amount of 40% soil only.
Perlite shouldn't count in the mesurment of Fruit n flower.
But use my mix and add 1 tablespoon of Fruitn flower and it won;t be too much.
Some strains need some nutes later in there life at about 1 month in when the FnF start wearing off.
I use pure blend pro bloom for soil and Budswel. I atrt adding budswel at 1 month or when the lower leaves start to yuelow(telling me that the Fruit n flower is wearing off and it can handle more nuts now without hermying.)So I add 1 teaspoon or tablespoon ,if it can handle it,of Budswel a week. The Pure Blend Pro bloom, I only add when the plant needs nutrients for real.
Like all nutes.
Budswel is just an organic additive that adds mass and crstals and flavor to your buds.
Pure blend pro is a general organic all around nutrient.
I also add Liquid Karma, Sugar daddyand silicate every once in a while too.
Silicate I stop after the first month.
Sugar daddy and Liquid karma ussuaklly fo in with the Budswel.
All organic.

Cut the finished tops, pull the lights down (or adjust the plant up if you have a multiple strains in the room) and let the rest finish.

Thats good advice.
And I thought about cutting the tops.
But I like my weed real ripe on the vine.
So I figure mine as well wait till it ripens all the way to the bottom.
It's almost there. Same as the Kali Kush, that one is pretty much ready.
Just waiting for a little more amber. Same with the Purple Kush.
I wait till the plants tell me they are done and cut em all at once usually.
Lately even more so, letting them go longer.
all the way you know.
Extra week or two.The last couple weeks add on weight and nice potency too.
I got weed to smoke.So I'll wait for that last plump up that Bubba and OG do.
Kali Kush does it too.
I guess most would if we all let them finish like I have been lately.
But It's hard I know.Especially if out of weed.
BUt i'm not,plus I cut a branch of Bubba and Kali Kush.
So screw it.
The Kali Kush is so tasty.
Like kali Mist incense with Pure Kushs skunk and flavor.
I likes.
Gotts figure out a way to up the yield with out loosing that incense kush flavor.
Hhhmmmmmm? Maybe my Mustang Mist?
That should yield well.
And maybe I can find an incense/Diesel pheno male.

Ya, I look for the lower leaves to start yellowing.
Then when the whole plant turns a slightly less dark green color then I add it at half doses.
or about 1 tablespoon per gallon of pure blend pro and about 1 teaspoon per gallon of budswel.

Yield isn't as good this time.
This time I went for pure quality.
Last time I was top feeding for yield.
Thats why the buds were more rounded and longer then these galfball shaped ones.
But it can yield well in hydro I hear.

Damn you don't need much budswell at all huh? 1 teaspoon? I know the directions on fox farm big bloom guano is to use 60ml, which would be 12 teaspoons. Must be same stanky ass SHIT! Literally! Do you use RO water? Just wondering if you add cal-mag with your water? Do you ever see cal/mag deficiencies? I think that's what I see the most. Also, do you use dolomite lime in your mix? What do you adjust your PH to after the nutes are mixed in? Also you say you only add the pureblend when the plant needs nutrients for real. What do you mean by that?

I have to keep it under the sink in my bathroom, or else it smells like a sewer leak.
No RO water here but with curtain Kush hybrids I noticed they needed some cal mag.
So now I just add it every couple weeks.
Plus the fruit n flower has it in there.
Along with oyster shells for ph balance.

Budswel says to use 1-2 tablespoons.
But since I'm mixing it with other stuff I use only 1 Tablespoon.

I don't add any lime.
But there might be some in the soil mix that I'm not aware of.
I adjust my ph to 6.5 then I add my nutes.
I think thats all of it right.
But ya, use calmag lightly if your using tap water also.
Depending on where you live.
BUt here most of my bigger plants and kushes needed calmag at about 35 days flower it needs more...But with my mix, it needs it whenever the Fruitn flower wears off.
Tghen I start adding it fpor a couple weeks before flush.
Just like the PBPro.

I have my girls in 1 gallon pots filled with FF Ocean Forest right now. I have to use RO water where I live, when should I start adding the Cal Mag, and how much and how often you think I should use it? Anyone familiar with Cal Mag/RO water/ and FF ocean forest?
When I transfer into the 4-5 gallon pots, I'm gonna use your mix JDOG, thanks bro.

You think 5 ml per gallon of cal mag once a week would be enough? I know it's all depends on the strain, but as a starting point...
