"Give me your fire, your sticky, your dank..." Haha! Here is some Restoration #3. This one is very trichome-laden and probably my favorite of the two phenos I have...
And there it is, ladies and gents! Cutting and hanging everything today. Frost hit everything real hard last night. It's gonna be a pain to trim everything after its hung for a bit, but something tells me that they won't make it through this one Haha It has definitely been a great season though. No complaints. Cheers!
Turns out, I was wrong! Everything made a full recovery this sunny day!
Working on my grow report when I have time and a true smoke report after a cure. Early thoughts are in favor of Heavy Berry #1,#4, and #5. All have VERY berry smells and a nice uplifting high. Restoration hasn't shown too many defining/amazing attributes quite yet, but it yields very well. Hermit's Threshold is unreal strong with its cleaner smell really starting to come through. Also is a great yielder. Afghan Kush is very strong and is starting to show a very pleasant flower-like smell. Killer Kush is the strongest of all, and is a complete day wrecker. Smells are coming through very musty and fuel-like. Silver Haze is fruity with citrus undertones and a sort of sour smell. Here are some pics of Heavy Berry #4 from yesterday that I forgot to post. This plant is one of my favorites and a hopeful for a regular strain in the rooms. Doesn't yield like some of the other HB, but its smell is AMAZING! Not to mention some nice color change and good trichome development
Hey all!
Here with an update on the OD from this year Everything is now curing, and yield total is locked in. From here on out, everything will stay the same weight, but will only increase in smell/flavor/potency! Here are the totals:
Definitely a good year! I think Killer Kush would have produced a bit more, had I not lost some due to botrytis. I also think Heavy Berry #4 could have been a location issue, but its hard to say. Hermit's Threshold, as usual, showed its amazing production power and speed. And I think overall, everything (especially Afghan Kush) could have benefitted from a bit more time to finish. Either way, I ended up trimming 8 of the 9 elbows myself, so I definitely got my fill! Happy Harvest, everyone!
Whew! Sorry about the barrage, everyone! That is essentially my whole OD season in one sitting! I have a lot more pictures of each individual strain, some that are quite nice in quality, but I'm pretty drained now lol If anyone would like to see anything specific, or has any questions, feel free to ask! And @cazastrains, thanks for sticking around! I was lucky enough to be blessed with some superb genetics this year. I'm glad you could enjoy the show!
