if mine were indeed broad mites they did not do damage so severely like that

Mine either.

That photo gave me the heebie-jeebies... Kinda like when you watch a graphic episode of SVU with the Mrs. while also being a little too high...

Traumatising.

F mites.

You did not have broads. They destroy your plants and spread by the hour. Lucky you.

russetts maybe then? they were tiny tiny tiny mite like w/no webs...not heavily social like spider mites either more sporadic in habitation of the plant tissues
.this is what they did to new growth on my old GG4cut , i could not shake it & had to cull it...

i was fully prepared to scrap my c99 grow but they naturally resisted enough to produce lovely flowers...i did suffer a hit on yield though

Could be russets mine were angel of death bastards turned the whole crop into grass smelling bunk in a week.

Maybe some people are dealing with aculops lycoperisci and others with better cannadapted aculops cannabicola

If you follow my directions on application on my earlier post you will kill them. I promise you. It takes diligence and patience but it works believe me

maybe you had bigger plants? i saw my smallest plants getting most damage one size that looked pretty much same. i did not see them anymore today, well maybe some dead bodies dried up but not any groups alive. that room hitted -C temps so that might put them on coma or egg stage i tossed all soil out and now will vacuum, clean with bleach, then spray with neem. heat the room +40-45c and clean pots that are outside.

any one know how the eggs behave?

I have never had them. I spray my veg area mom's and clones with neem constantly under t5s. Room is cool and ladies stay quite wet. I also dip entire new clones in neem. I think the only way to get rid of the is to not let them get started.
I would bleach everything. I use a garden sprayer at about 90% bleach and soak everything . Then mop put dehumidifier in to dry, get new clones completely dip them and spray with neem constantly.

Im using, Avid, Forbid, OGBioware, And Nukem right now, all on rotation, all applied with airless paint sprayer, that thing is a game changer. Gonna start using wettable sulfur and a sulfur burn to, in another week or so (i applied azamax about a couple of weeks ago, and ive been told you have to wait a while before using sulfur after using an oil based pesticide). I havent seen a live one yet, but the eggs are clear as day. Ever since i started applying all the sprays with the paint sprayer last week, I have seen a huge improvement, it puts such a fine mist in the air, everything gets coated, ill never use a hand pump sprayer again. I think if I would have had the airless paint sprayer since day one my problem would have been eliminated by now.

If you had brown spots on the leaves, and the mites were reddish brown with protrusions pointed forward, they were likely russett mites.

I saw all the plants like that picture I posted, chopped them threw outside, and kept those branches to post picture. A guy in Italy identified it as broad mite damage instantly. Broke out microscope and found one. They are translucent, and hide more than others.

I wonder how many people that have mite problems, and especially the ones plagued by them, have fungus gnats also? I have seen electron microscope pictures of fungus gnats, with mites hitchhiking on them.

Here is an article -

i have this kind of soil mites they look reddish brown but do no damage. that room hitted over gram per watt so if they do damage i like it =) i think these might be predatory soil mites. i can try to catch one later and take a magnification picture. i have also white small soil mites and springtails on that room.

is there thread for benificial soil mites?

Is this the one you're using.? Game changer is right. My new toy. I just wanna keep spaying. ! Definitely better than 4 gallon pack pack sprayer. Especially for my indoor room. I like how fine the coverage is..
