Regarding inbreeding, I happen to have met some people who did this. They felt they couldn't not do it since it would lead to their children deteriorating to average people. The kids end up being very homogenous to the parents but there is something strikingly different with the kids who are second generation inbred. The only reason they made it in life was because they inherited wealth and job positions. I can't find the word for this but theyre very closed minded and have a warped view of the world, unique to themselves. As much as you'd think their world view is off, they think of you and your world view. I'd bet that if they inbred again they'd get kids with mental development issues.

Regarding breeding, it's hard to convince people to marry and have kids purely on the basis of their genes. There is another way though and the research is close to done. Its called cognitive genomics. This is possible through extracting several eggs from a woman and fertilizing them in vitro with the mans sperms. Then the embryos genes are analyzed and the embryo with the genes you want is put back into the woman and becomes a baby. If everyone did this then for every generation kids would have 5-15 IQ points more.

Inbreeding can cause genetic issues.

I know a 26yr old who died cause her parents were blood cousins, and both carriers of the same genetic disorder.... She got the disorder....

WHY the fuck you would marry your cousin...who knows....but that girl was WHY you don't...

Interestingly enough, in the ward she spent most of her childhood, the most of the other kids with similar disorders were Hutterite....Again... Im gonna assume inbreeding.

I don't think it can necessarily be done by us on each other, because of morals and life span, but...

Do you think that people could be bred like plants, and that most of the inbreeding popular theory is nonsense? i.e. instant retardation.

We couldn't necessarily breed a line of people and stick around to see the results, because of our lifespan.

Just wondering, and thinking it's a lot like plants.

Humans and plants have both followed their own distinct evolutionary paths. The inbreeding of humans leads to an increase of homozygous zygotes which causes an increase in recessive alleles - so you could get low IQ, bad hair/skin, mental illness, etc. It also increases the risk of congenital birth defects.
However, in order to keep a genetic pool pure so to speak, the participants would need to be very genetically fit. It could be done, if needed. But they couldn't be recessive in their genetic makeup. Hopefully that's a last resort though, wouldn't want to have kids with a female relative.
Also, inbreeding is forbidden in all religions.

Can't be that great an idea just compare the royals to someone like hawking who would've been considered "inferior" physically/genetically.
When it comes to "good/bad" or "superior/inferior" trait selection like everything else is subjective.
What good's breeding your kids to be big n strong in the future if in the future they're just treated like livestock working at the behest of the intelligent?
Just like what's the sense of breeding genius just to throw it into a world it can't physically keep up with or gets killed off that much faster cause smart aint strong n when strong is needed that's what's needed.
Subjectivity makes it all nonsense.
Can't tell what the future world will be like so how could you tell what your kids should be to get through it best any better.

Yeah. To piggyback on the last couple thoughts, although it goes against common sense and sounds ridiculous can we really say that being stupid (by the modern definition) isn't actually evolutionary superior? Maybe stupid people are happier. Maybe they worry less. It's the smart folks who have historically made the decisions, and you could certainly make the argument that we've fucked up the planet and each other in the process.

These days I feel like half of the other folks I see in the general public are practically mongoloids, but really who's to say we wouldn't be better off if we were all a little slower?

Did a tiny amount of research and found that Italy's population is overly-inbred which is resulting in low IQ (among other things). The average IQ is just below 90. I believe that is considered "disabled" in most societies.

Bush is about 120. Good enough for a Harvard MBA and to pilot a jet fighter which you actually have to show some serious proficiency in training, since they cost a few bucks and tend to make a big mess if flown incorrectly.

By "lower class" you mean not genetically fit, correct? Unless you corelate money to genetic fitness? The 2 have nothing to do with one another. I'd marry a beautiful woman over a rich woman any day.

The royals don't marry ugly women, dude. Kate Middleton is apparently "lower class" ? but she has some amazing genes. But I want a united Ireland, so
