Breeding People

I don't think it can necessarily be done by us on each other, because of morals and life span, but...

Do you think that people could be bred like plants, and that most of the inbreeding popular theory is nonsense? i.e. instant retardation.

We couldn't necessarily breed a line of people and stick around to see the results, because of our lifespan.

Just wondering, and thinking it's a lot like plants.

Inbreeding within a small population causes genetic weaknesses/ poor immunity not to mention the mutations... With plant population you can throw away the mutants

There are families that has been doing this for generation after generation. The the people from high society. I bet the government is doing it to the people via the environment, both natural and psychologically. And via our food.like a orchestrated survival of the fittest.
I believe it can be done. Should it be done?hell no. Let just say it would probably look like world war 2.
But I believe it is a possibility thats it is happening,i can almost guarantee it.wether or not it on a massive scale is up for debate.
I like the way your thinking though.deep stoner thought indeed:tiphat: lol

Eugenics (/juːˈdʒɛnɪks/; from Greek εὐγενής eugenes "well-born" from εὖ eu, "good, well" and γένος genos, "race, stock, kin")[2][3] is the belief and practice which aims at improving the genetic quality of the human population.[4][5] It is a social philosophy advocating the improvement of human genetic traits through the promotion of higher reproduction of people with desired traits (positive eugenics), or reduced reproduction and or sterilization of people with less-desired or undesired traits (negative eugenics), or both.

There's lots of "interesting" history behind eugenics.

Germany tried to breed a "master race" during WW2, thank god they lost. inbreeding can be good or bad, depending on what you are trying to achieve. with animals (dogs, horses etc) it is called "line breeding" to distract sensitive folks from noticing that they breed offspring back to parents to fix a trait, much as pot farmers do to lock in autoflowering for example. in people, we carry so many recessive genes that close breeding like that does carry a much greater risk of certain problems. in dogs, it greatly increases the odds of offspring carrying the gene for hip dysplasia, a crippling disease that affects German Shepherds and Labradors for example. you could live long enough to see results in humans by using egg donors and sperm donors and surrogate mothers. but I doubt you would like what you see...

Lots of the royal families through history have experimented with eugenics and inbreeding, whether intentionally or not. When you've convinced the rabble that you're Gods descended to the earth you can't just marry the neighbor girl, you've got to hook up with another God...AKA your immediate family.

One of my favorite historical examples of this is King Charles II of Spain.

Here's what his family tree looked like:

Carlos_segundo80.png

It's not supposed to keep spreading out, not come back to a point! As a result "Charles did not learn to speak until the age of four nor to walk until eight,[6] and was treated as virtually an infant until he was ten years old. His jaw was so badly deformed (an extreme example of the so-called Habsburg jaw) that he could barely speak or chew. Fearing the frail child would be overtaxed, his caretakers did not force Charles to attend school. The indolence of the young Charles was indulged to such an extent that at times he was not expected to be clean. When his half-brother Don Juan José of Austria, an illegitimate son of Philip IV, obtained power by exiling the queen mother from court, he covered his nose and insisted that the king at least brush his hair."

It can be and has been done already successfully. Maybe not on purpose either but it happened.
I don't wanna offend anyone or get banned so I'll let you fill In the blanks.
If you look at the US and who dominates sports, you will understand that selective breeding on people has happened in the past.

In the first half of the 1900s basketball was dominated by Jewish players, who used the sport as a way out of the ghetto, and whose culturally stereotypes were used to explain their athletic success, much like the blacks of today. There's an abstract line of thinking that income levels rather than race are what drive cultural success in sports, but I think there's probably room for both theories. That said, it certainly can't be denied that slave owners practiced basic eugenics for generations, breeding the big slaves together, as they would their farm animals.

on the surface, it doesn't seem like a horrible idea...natural selection works almost the same way, with the strong and resilient traits eventually evolving into the species through selective breeding, with the obvious and crucial difference being that when selection is "natural" the choice of mate is still yours, rather than someone else's.

i bred with my lady friend and we got some amazing offspring outta of it and it felt pretty good too!i recommend it to anybody.

It was all good until natural selection was removed from the equation. Makes me want to take my chances in Siberia or at least somewhere in the taiga.

Interesting convo...

Up to G Dub... 25 American Presidents are blood related... I'm pretty sure Obammer fits in the line somewhere as there is much European royalty within the line as well.

Look at a picture of most Hapsburgs and Jay Leno, and tell me they're not related.
