That’s some Beautiful looking country man….. but doesn’t look like set and forget canna growing country that’s for sure.

Have you considered Beldia Lebanese or Sinai plants as the starting stock?
Yes, it's a region with a magnificent landscape, but with ungrateful soil.

I thought about Beldia, Lebanese, or an Egyptian variety. But they are not completely autoflowering, and there is still a lot of hermaphroditism.

I take this as a challenge, an acclimatization process that will probably be long and difficult. But I have time, so we'll see. Despite all the bad things said about autoflowers, I've already had good results with them, and I like to grow several cycles a year.

I'm going to try them in all seasons, even winter. Thank you for your interest, and I hope you'll follow the development of this crop.

This is the first year there have been so many processionary caterpillars. Until now, the region has been spared, but unfortunately this time we'll have to deal with them.
I'm going to try to control them manually, but it will be difficult. The greatest danger is for my dogs. If it gets out of hand, I'll opt to buy traps and spray bacteria. For now, I'm going to burn them.
