Considering the current setup for cooking, the space required for storage and synthesis of the precursors, in addition to the logistics, would likely be prohibitive. Remember, Walt has said nothing stops the train. When they have access to one house a week, the time spent synthesizing precursors would likely vex Walt to no end. He's not in control, nor making inconspicuous moves. Clearly the power has gone to his head. It will certainly be a downward spiral for the last eight episodes.

Naw, Walt's downfall will be at the hands of the Irish Gang. He's is gonna bite off more than he can chew when they(Walt and Declan) team up next episode. A deal will be brokered that Mike and Jesse get their 5 mil each, and Walt will become the chef and cook the 1000 gallons of Methylamine, at a partnership cut, for Declans operation. after they methylamine is all used up(a year later, hint hint) they will want walt to go on at a lower cut, and he wont go for it.

That shit from the first episode with Heisenberg buying the huge machine gun, he is forced to go to war with his new employers after learning his families life is in danger, when they find out his brother is a DEA ASAC for ABQ. this new gang entity isn't as reserved and doesn't have the insight Gus had.

great episode, Gilligan is building some momentum.

i have a feeling todd is gonna get popped and the tarantula is gonna link em to the kid. i don't see todd making it through and their ties with the pest company are gonna unravel. after that i have no clue.

My memory of phospho states is rudimentary but I believe you got it backwards and red is more stable, I don't think long term storage would be a problem. Phospho would be the easiest precursor to acquire anyways imo.

Yes its stable thats why i was saying white phos reacts violently not red phos. LOL sorry but that would be hardest precursor out of every way to synthesize it to obtain. This reason is what forced Clandestine chemists to manufacture using different reactions plus the Leukardt Reaction that Walt uses has one of the lowest yields

Awesome show this season is one of the BEST so far IMO.
I think i need to watch them all again some time, i forgot alot of stuff that happened in the first seasons.

I know im gonna fiend hard when they put the show on pause again

This is confirmed to be the final season so we should expect closure. They did however hint at a movie or other format that may or may not at some point develop.

Yes but red being more stable means white phospho eventually stabilizes into the red allotrope... I believe you would have to heat up the red considerably in order to get back into the white state a la matches.

Ahhh well my actual working knowledge of meth production is obviously not very much as you can see! I didn't know that it would be the hardest to obtain. What makes the red phospho so hard? I assumed since I saw it everywhere in school that they could easily just order it since at that time walt was still a teacher?

+1 for the Leukart statement. But then again when cameras are rolling, it doesn't have to be correct does it? 80% of the audience probably doesn't even know what one is!
For their purposes the Leaukart is moody, finnicky and messy.

I'm kinda bored with this season so far. Skyar is the worst I cannot stand her emo womanly issues. Walt seems so over confident as if he has truly broken bad and that bores me it takes away from the good acting we know this show is capable of inspiring. Everything is just a bore i feel like the show should have ended last season somehow.
