and green smoke, you're totally right, i never think about that in shows! especially two seasons

if you think about it, they've "only" made a couple of pounds, and they've only been hanging out for like a month

I can't wait until I can get stoned and ramble about things again. Quitting smoking is easy with the right motivation, unfortunately an insane tolerance doesn't seem too important to me. 3 days sober, 18 left to go.

Insane by my standards that is. I bet almost all of you could smoke circles around me, but as a poor college student, I can't afford to smoke a 1/8 a day.

Yeah, but I am still clinging to the thread of hope that I can do a guerilla grow this summer and I am trying to learn as much as possible in the last minute that I may have forgotten about. I don't post in any of those threads though because I don't know enough to contribute (which is why almost all of my posts are in the tokers den). However I need to find a new spot, last time I went to my "super secret totally legit spot" there were suitcases and backpacks right where I was planning it.

I've watched that show a few times and wanted to turn it off but kept watching anyway.

I don't use meth and am not a "hard drug thug", but brother I saw LOTS of shit growing up and this show is way off from reality. I guess if they made a show that truely depicted meth use/manufacture you'd be grossed out and repulsed.

Wasn't it Robert Plant that said "...crime won't help you... crank won't do you no good..."? :D

Can you give a specific example of something that would gross me out or repulse me? I like to think I have a high tolerance for that. Except no babies in the microwave stories. I'm burnt out on those...

My thoughts on 4/5/09 episode: WARNING SPOILERS!!!

My thoughts on 4/5/09 episode: WARNING SPOILERS!!!

Jesse: Good to see Jesse getting his shit together. Paying back his debts, keeping things on the down low (no flashy car, no drugs at his apartment), standing up to Walt and really taking the upper hand in their business.
I have a feeling that at the end of this show, Jesse will be the only left standing. He's on his way to being a meth kingpin. Not something to be proud of, sure, but at least he's no longer a fuckup (well, I guess he is, but at least he's a successful fuckup, fwiw).

Walt: Lost a little respect for Walt in this episode. Treading on dangerous territory asking Jesse to take revenge on the scumbags who robbed one of their dealers. I understand why you dont want to let every scumbag meth-head know it's ok to rob one of your own, but violence begets violence. Another argument for why all drugs should be decriminalized because it's the least bad option...
Sad to see Walt struggling with nausea from the chemo. Really thinking he could benefit from a little cannabis therapy... a little top notch homegrown and he'll be able to keep his food down.
Also his struggles to pay his enormous medical bills highlights another hypocrisy of our country: we have the world's best health care but also the world's most expensive. Gets to the point where your average joe, if he comes down with a devastating illness, almost has to deal drugs in order to pay off the enormous medical bills that result. 13K for a 3 day hospital stay, wtf!!! That's like J-Lo renting a seaside villa for 3 days.

Hank: Thought he was having a heart attack at first (he IS a fat pig) but now I know it's some sort of PTSD caused by his shootout with Tuco. Really kind of feel for him even though he's DEA. He's got a nagging, materialistic beeyotch of a wife, a job that is really starting to stress the shit out of him, and no one to turn to because he feels compelled to keep up the macho image. Maybe this will cause him to abuse his drug of choice more: al-kee-hol. Funny that, in a way, he's a drug manufacturer just like his bro in law, only the drug he's making is beer.

Next episode: We get to see if Jesse can sack up and pistol whip (or worse) the shitheads who robbed his boy. I hope Walt gets involved in the action, it's really a two man job and Jesse shouldnt be the only one to get his hands dirty..

I've never used or even had a desire to use meth :noway:, but I still find the show entertaining :lurk:, and I’ve been watching it sober, minus a couple Czech vars (Good Bier); I haven't toked in a month to date. After withdrawals,(not sleeping well, moodyness) it’s not so bad, though I do look forward to smoking again soon, next week maybe. If I regulate my toking to only the weekend's, any withdrawls won't be nearly as unpleasant.

I wonder if it will go on into a third season? An I also have a feeling that its going to have a sad ending. The show is well put together imo, the second episode of the second season was the best so far I think.

mmm Budvar...

Spot on, bababooey

I really REALLY enjoyed the scene where jesse's crew went around crimin' and dealin', and for those who said that this show is tame, that scene alone is more realistic than the rest of the series. I agree that i'm happy about jesse getting his shit together, and that walt is being a dick. And i also agree about the Fed, i feel for him more and more, and yes, definitely becoming an alcoholic...listen to how he was talking to WaltJr. at the bbq and then staggers off... Speaking of that scene, i'm sure that's the reason WaltSr. is acting like such a hardass/criminal...

I agree, i thought it was a heartattack at first, but no, more like a panic attack... i was like "what the fuck, he just had a heart attack, but he's gonna walk it off??? what a pimp haha"

Great show, Walt's wife and her sister suck, big time.

Yeah I didn't get that either. Given everything that's happened so far its hard to imagine that Walt would send Jesse out with a gun to do the more of the same. I figured Walt would cook up a "surprise" for the thieves that would turn them blue or make em grow huge man tits or setup something with a little more imagination. They are just digging a deeper hole with that one.

I could see Walt’s son trying his product, and ending up being hospitalized or even dead. That would fuck Walt’s mind up for sure. He's a good kid, and you wouldn't think he would do something like that (maybe thats the point), but they always have him disappearing with some other kid. Just a thought.
:chin:

I think this is also the last season because of the weird intro's like the teddy bear in the pool, the weird bio hazard suit guys, and Walt’s glasses in the evidence bag. Shit is going to get crazy.
