I'm pretty harsh when it comes to improbables/bad science/poor character development and I can't disagree with you more. The second I started watching this show called 'breaking bad' I knew it wasn't going for a good ending. When the lead director said that 'weeds is the worst done show of that type i've ever seen' I knew it for sure. Breaking bad is about walt losing his mind. Even the train heist, though improbable, was entirely plausable. As is almost everything else in this show.
Walt killed mike. That is the first time walt has impulse killed, in the entire show. Every other action had a certain purpose. You could see it on cranson's face after he did it (amazing actor) that he was surprised himself that he did it. This is entirely in line with walt's mental breakdown. Mike showed him the reality of everything and it tore him down "walter, we had a good thing going with fring. why did you have to get so full of yourself to wreck that for everyone" (roughly).
Don't think for a second that this show is headed for a good end, it is not. Expect most of the main characters to be killed. There is no way walt survives, and even though I give jesse the best chance, I don't think he will make it either. This is a show to show the dangers of drugs, not one to glorify. And they are doing it to a T.
(This season has surpassed my wildest expectations as far as 'seasons that shouldn't have been' can go. The character interaction has been superb)
naw they only found the names and bank accounts behind the pic in the frame that got smashed when they broke the computer with the magnet... walt and jesse weren't employees like the rest in the traditional sense; they were getting paid by the pound and gus was going to have him killed lest we forget

the quote gail wrote to walt (that hank read) was the same part of the leaves of grass poem hank was asking walt about after jesse murdered gail. hank will put 2+2 together......w.w. = walter white, g.b. = gail boettichure.

Walt is screwed. Not just regular screwed either, majorly screwed in that he has been lying to Hank this whole time. Hank is obviously going to put this together,otherwise they would not have flashbacked to Walt discussing the case with Hank when Hank was bedridden after the cartel attacked him.
Hank is going to know that the carwash is a front, understand where the flashy new cars came from, how Walt was able to pay Hank's medical bills, know that Walt's "gambling problem" was BS, realize Walt was likely responsible for: the prison murders, Gus Friang, and that Hank's attack was likely caused by his association to Walt.
I am a fan of Walt's character, I have great sympathy toward Walt's character as the mealymouthed high school teacher. Even considering all the dastardly deeds Walt has done, I rooted for his character up until this season. Walter White definitely broke bad this season (Last season Gus vs Walt put Walt in a position where he had to choose to kill Gus for a number of reasons. So Mike's scolding of Walt last episode right before Walt killed him, while accurate, neglected Gus' shady business practices and that Gus was prepared to move forward without Walt). Walt is clearly deeply psychotic. His treatment of those close to him such as Jesse and Skylar are shining exampes of Walt's psychosis. Walt has stooped so low to find a way to justify killing kids. Walt snapped and killed Mike, and carefully orchestrated the murder of 9 people. Walt is a stone cold killer at this point. Walt's psychosis has led him to make some foolish decisions this season: working with Lydia and Todd, not getting out of the business, killing Mike.
I cant really root for Walt to somehow make it, he is just too damn dastardly with the damage he has caused in the world. However, Walt is going down in a bad way... Hank is going to be relentless in his pursuit of evidence. Walt's demise is going to be so painful to watch because he will likely not know it's coming, he thinks he is free and clear, especially if he is really out. Hank is going to be so furious at Walt,he will probably twist the knife as much as possible because of Walt's deceit.
For me, next season is going to be a difficult watch because I found Walt's character admirable for much of the show.

I think Hank is too straight-laced for that. This blue meth case was Hank's pet case for so long, I dont think there is any way he is letting this go. Not to mention Walt watched as Hank struggled with this case, even while bedridden and deeply depressed. Hank has been shown to have quite a temper, Hank is guaranteed to be absolutely furious by this betrayal. I honestly don't believe there is any amount of money in the world that could buy Hank off in this specific case. I could be wrong about Hank's willpower to resist bribery, but I highly doubt it.
Pretty sure it was a book of poems called, "Leaves of Grass, " by the famous poet Walt Whitman. There is also a poem called by the same name in the book.
Fuckin A!! what a season ending episode. Just when things were getting back to normal for the family, with the addition of a sizable fortune to carry them forward....
