Thanks Man...you inspired me to break down and buy my first copy of HT in about jeez...almost 20 years...yikes haven't looked at it yet..I bet I find a bunch of pics I've already seen here at ICMag and I'm not looking forward to a bunch of scantily clad chicks holding airbrushed buds....I hear that's what's it's like now...guess I'll find out soon enough. It may just become campfire starter...lol Stick around man. The peeps in here that have brought me in under their shoulder are top shelf peeps man. Hey Lime. How's the dog pen today? I hope you have good spirits today man. I know you've been hit with some hard times. You know your friends are here for ya anytime. MMMMMM LUI...Love it man. I'm not sure if you have the same pheno or not but I love the smell. Love the taste. Totally unique. I find the buzz is self controllable with the amount you smoke. Smoke a joint and I'm up and runnin wanting to play jazz drums. Smoke 2 in a row and I'm in movie/tv mode. Roomie comes in and smokes that unexpected 3rd joint and I wake up hours later wondering what the hell happened and damnit to hell I missed the episode of Lost!!! I'll say cure is very important with it though. Flavour and punch really comes out after about 3 weeks in the jar. Still have yet to see what 6 months in the jar will do. I know my drying trunk made a big difference too. Budz hat have been in the jar for one day after the drying trunk smell like they have been in the jar for a week.
Hey Kookie ...ya I can see wanting a new thread if the title stears the wrong way. I think I'll just update my sig and keep this one going. It's perpetual anyways..lol I'll keep an eye out for ya man and let me know if ya start a new one.

Next time I flower out some LUI I'll actually pay attention to what clone is what pheno....I'm such a stoner sometimes. ... I had all the clones labeled and then when I potted in 4" pots...think I payed attention?...after I was done looking at my work I see a pile of labels to the left...I'm like....DOH!!!!!!!
alright...if you made it through my morning ramblings, you deserve a few pics...I wasn't happy with the pics I took the other night of the new bin in the 430 cab. Here's a ;itt;e better shots. This thing is growing like a weed. Interesting how some of the buds are out of the sweet spot from the light but still growing huge cola. These are somewhere around 30 days maybe more...I gotta start writing this stuff down...lol

hey bonsai - I don't know if you run across Treating Yourself magazine in the stores up there in the great white north but if you do... I did actually get published with some pictures and grow reports so if you get the chance to pick it up you will see some of suga's buds in glossy color pictures

Just stopped for a 1:20 refresher on 4/20, cracked my first 1 of 12, thought I'd take 10 and give you all a high 5.
You're all a 10 in my books. I wouldn't do this without you folks....well I would I just wouldn't contribute to a site without you....lol...and my buds wouldn't be as good.

Ya know?...I'm still feelin the affects of my 1:20 refresher...
Update for Lime... Smoked 3/4 of an LUI joint at 9:30am. Played in the yard till 1:00..quick lunch, refresher with y'all at 1:20 (roach from this morning) and it's now 5:30 ...nice!!!!! Still a slight ping left from 1:20 and I'm pleasantly sore from a day of spring yard work. What can one ask for in a strain really. 1 joint and felt the effects all day?...pretty good I'd have to say...and for those that think I'm a light-weight..ha..step right up!
I just wanted to say that LUI is top shelf in my books. After these last 2 bins are finished I won't be growing any for a while but I'll definatly be keeping the moms.
I'm too excited to get some of Suga's beans going. And this SSxK I've been keeping since the fall is tweaking my interest. I may be needing more scrubbers for this stuff....STIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNKY!!

Happy Sunny Saturday to y'all.
Here's a couple dried shots from the last harvest. Just realized I hadn't put any up. A few of you WnB's may have seen them already from this morning.
I'd like to say again...I'm amazed at this community. The way I see it I have some of the WORLD's best hobbyists and a few, shall we call them "hardcore" growers checkin in on me. How cool is that? I've been playing with computers and technology and websites for years...I go back to the Vic 20 and Pet Commodore days....and it took my buddy HeadyPete to show me this sort of site even exsisted last fall. amazing.

oh and TML...fan leaves are so huge this time is kinda neat. I have been doing some major leaf trimmin along the way and these fan leaves are the ones that normally would be small and close to the buds. However since these were the only fan leaves left they grew out of proportion. Kinda hard to tell but except for a few top fan leaves, every cola only has one leaf each kinda. That come out right? I'm having fun putting this LUI through the extremes to see where she wants to be. She's a really hungry girl the more she stretches that's for sure. Next time I'll keep her somewhere between the low scrog and high LST. Think in my cab is where she'd be most comfortable.
to any outdoor growers that are checkin in on my LUI..I saw a pic the other day of a member who had a 8' bush in his back yard. Colas looked to be about 4'+ each. I say GIVER
