Well hey folks. What's a guy to do on a rainy Monday when I have the day off? Play in the garden and take pics of course.

Hey TML, Thanks for bringin the hibachi man. I always liked the taste of charcoal over gas anyways. I'll pull some steaks out of the freezer. Back yard looks great, all the snow is gone and the lost pucks have been found. The neighbourhood kids sure did like the back yard rink this year.

I'm letting these go as long as they tell me. as of today most trichs are cloudy with a few amber showing up here and there. Very few still. I want to let these go till it's mostly amber just to see what kind of a "right hook" she really has. Since I have a few phenos going it's gonna be cool to see the most potent of the Indica pheno compared to full amber trich sativa. Catch me?

Hey Nt  Here ya go man. Frosty beer and a few pics.

This is the 150 Tent. Humidity in the tent is 50-60% compared to the 430 cab runnin around 35-45%. Interesting to see how this plant can perform in different ways under different conditions and methods.

alright..just say...shut up and show the pics....BG

Doesn't take long for the Veg area to grow like a weed.

Hey Zeus  These "shots" are for you. Oh and the OB1 is a Strain from our good friend Sugabear. It's a Cross of the Oregon90 and the Burmesse Pure. The Oregon is mostly afgani with an old school hashy flavour and I quote "some fruity pukey overtones" and the Burmesse was seed Sugabear got from Reeferman a number of years ago.

These here in the shot glasses are Super Skunk x Kush

Gotta like rainy days. Some day maybe I'll have a set-up large enough to bask under it and get a tan. I envision someday I'll have a room dedicated to food production year round. As food gets over priced and under quality, our country is slowly loosing it's foothold on the world food market. It looks like if we all want to have quality local produce you'll have to grow it yourself. I'm not saying anything new here folks...just the facts...go talk to any farmer. It's a sad sad situation here.

Peace BG

how cute!!!

how cute!!!

Hey BG, thanks for the "shots"..lol. Thos ethings are so cute, I cant believe how frosty they are , even in those little glasses...Things are lookin good on ur side. And I have to say I agree w/ u about farming and whatnot. My girl and I are buildin a greenhouse in our backyard so we can grow our own veggies and such. The produce tends to suck around here. We are so far from civilization, it takes a week for our produce to get here. By the time we get it, its half shitty...Anyhow, g/l w/ the farm!!!Peace out bro'....

here's a few for you, my last harvest and my best bud!!!!

evening bonsai - I'm so incredibly fucking totally baked right now I just wanted to say high :rasta:

did you train the one on the left w/a screen? or just lst and topping or just let em go?

looking good as usual. I really hope you get at least a girl each out of the ob1s and the burmese f2s. Just to add to your above description - both the oregon90 and the burmese pure were described as IBLs by the respective breeders.

here's momma o90 last time I grew her - she was a bitch to clone and I lost 4/4 clones

she also had a slight hermie issue - one or two male flowers around week 5 of flower and then back to female - that never really bothered me - hard to find in a scrog though and I saw 6-10 mature beans in a whole plant and no immature seeds.

one intention of the cross to the stabilizing burmese was to get rid of the two issues above, poor cloning and hermie issue - so far so good on both fronts.

I think I'll go smoke some of mom :D been curing like 10 months now - yummy...

Hey Suga  Man just look at those girls of yours I can't wait to see if I can do them justice. Sweet man and thanks for the reference pics. I'll be comin back to those I'm sure.

Here's a shot up close of the bin on the left. I ran them through their paces in the veg area and the scrog prep but let them go and just chopped to make an even canopy once the bin was in the 12/12 430 cab.

This is last day before 12/12

One week 12/12 on the right

2 weeks 12/12 on the left now

3 weeks 12/12

4 weeks 12/12

and the branching up close.

we talked about this a bit in JoeShmoe's Garden

Peace all. It's the hobby that gives something back.

Hey Zeus ...Happy Tuesday. ...BMR? is that Blue Moon Rocks? I'm not familiar with that strain. How did you like it? Looks Frosty and I love the blue in them.

Peace everyone. With almost 6000 views of my diary so far I can say flattery comes in strange ways. I hope I'm helping the community and any new growers that are thinkin about getting started. It's not as hard as you might think and with all the help here at ICMag I say take off your shoes and socks and get your feet wet.

I love ICMag,,,thanks to you all

Lookin' great BG! BTW, I finished my beer, but instead of bumming, I brought some of my homemade wine.

Do you prefer white grape, or purple? :biglaugh:

Man Page 13 takes a while to load. Lots O Pics page I guess.

Thanks for stoppin back in Zeus and NT...Zeus I may try the BMR someday. It seems I'm overloaded with SugaBears seeds at the moment. I found myself surfin Seedbay last night however and there just so many I wanna try. Good thing I got the rest of my life eh?

oh and NT...your homemade wine sounds good to me. Wine dries out me head but if I drink water in-between glasses I'm usually ok. White is my preference but it depends what I make us for dinner. Better to err on the side of caution and bring both. I may be tempted to throw a few more steaks on the hibachi TML brought.

Peace everyone....Harvest imminent....150 tent is finishing first. Amber triches are showing up as I type.

oh what the hell....another rainy day here....may as well throw up some pics.

This is as close as I can get with my camera.

150w Tent LUI about 65 days... you may be able to see some of the trichs turning color. This bud is really filling out the last week. Don't poke fun at the Cal/Mag def ... I know I know...lol got that fixed I think now...we'll see

This is the Bud next to the one above from a different pheno.

and some SSxK going through the paces in the Scrog prep area. ..hard to get a good angle for this one

I have a friend out there that lurks this site but with poor dial-up he hasn't joined yet. Pretty sure he's found his way to check this diary out so this post goes out to him. No Names given ... the SSxK came from him and he is one of the best peeps I have known in my life....here's to you man.

Peace

So a few days later I decided to trim up the 150 Tent. Got rid of all the Cal/Mag def. fan leaves and that sure did open up the light penetration. Since this is an experiment tent I figured why not. So many of you 150 watters trim them right down so....I'll givie it a go. couldn't hurt much at this point I figure.

Here ya go.

What ya think folks? Look better? Should I have left the old fan leaves?...scroll back a page or two for reference shots.

Oh and Heady...yup a good friend indeed he is, as you know.

Again..thanks for the help folks... you sure do make this hobby alot more fun.

It's ok ElDust...I just let mine hang out now...there's just nothing you can do in such a beautiful garden.
I just don't wear jogging pants when I'm over anymore outta courtesy...you know I like to go commando style :yoinks:

Nice haircut in the 150W tent there

I don't anything could hurt at this point.....what was that?....ding....I think your buds are done :yummy:

Plenty of room on that Hibachi for your steaks Bonsai...Pete said he was into the Black Tiger Shrimp on skewers, so we'll hafta hit some of those up after we smoke some of that LUI

Thanks for the props too : D

Ha ...that's funny ElDust. Keep it in yer pants wood ya!! Glad it was good for ya. Peace. Stop back in anytime.

TML...ha. you funny. Thanks for keepin your pants on. Ya Pete's a barbecue nut as well.

As for the 150 tent. funny thing is the triches are only about 2% amber maybe, and the buds are still growing daily. I'm letting this go as long as it takes. Or next weekend. whatever comes first. I'm anxious to get the SSxK started and I can always let the 430w Cab go long with the LUI that's in it now.

I'll agree to the naked eye they look done and any other grow I would be chopping today. However thanks to ICMag and my buddy HeadyPete, they showed me how to read triches properly.

Thanks for stoppin in guys.

Suga...OB1 and OB1.2 have been topped and the clones are in Peet.

Cheers
