I will add a pic of a lovely Sour Bubble BX3 female that was a bit of a mutant. Topped itself at the first node but I kept her anyway and was super happy I did.

Looks great! Surprised yours was finicky. Back in 06-08 when I ran mine I was always so impressed with how stable it was. Infact SB bx3 was the strain that got me studying how to stabilize a strain. When in a position to teach others I always use BOGs work as my example.

I was hoping maybe you could speak a little about the pheno’s you found in those BX3’s way back then, do you happen to have any pictures? I for one would love to see them if you do.

Was only the one plant, all the other Sour Bubble I grew out were fantastic and stable. This was a one off and it turned out amazing. Sadly it wouldn't reveg for me but still gave me some fantastic smoke. Never had a plant do this before.

Check JBP's page from way back then and there's the other 10pk (I got mine from him). I actually got on here to see if he still uses this forum.

Ok yeah I've had that happen a few times over the years. I think it was Deepchunk that did it for me. And I think it was Soma's Lavender that had a bud grow on the primary fan leaves right where all segments meet the stem.

Yes.

Bx1 wasn't a great yielder, so extra long veg times were needed. I was a tester for BOG way when.

That was also something I noticed... I had a legit 42 day flower time (which is obviously insane) but they were never vigorous veggers. Side branching occurred but compared to the straight up healthy hollow central stalks they have no side branch ever tried to overtake the central cola. For years I rocked out this Really Killer Skunk that always did that and that's one of the reasons I loved it. Don't get me wrong, the SB deserves the kneel, but it decides your room for you. If you're not set up right for it you'll be stuck with lots of empty pockets where your lumens are wasted.

So...his seed line lives on? That was one cool vibe dude. Im trying to figure the year i last talked him....maybe...2000...maybe a few years earlier.

What year did he put out a line....that dude always kept some original genetics.
