BOG Seeds Sour Bubble.

Im tired of people thinking Bog is still making seeds, here's proof he isnt. This was taken from his last few messages here on IC:

Sorry about any confusion...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I dont wish to anger anyone and I am sorry for leaving things as I did.

Gypsy and DG never did anything bad to me and they paid all bills in timely manner. I tried to make you understand but many still dont.

First let me say that it wasn't a dispute over anything important to the site that I decided to change my way of doing business. I did try and branch out to some other sites at a time when my seed sales had slowed.

In looking back it seems to me that it was just time for me to have a change. I was sick of living in my cave in Montana and I was sick of making seeds. Seeds are difficult and they spoil your buds. ;)

When I left the site I also left my cave and traveled to find a new place to work. It took me all winter and into the spring and lot of trips back to the cave and Mrs. BOG. This was the hardest time of my life. I slept on friends couches for weeks at a time and I once again lived like a trucker missing my wife and my bed and my cave.

There is a tune about Jesus on the dashboard that has a lyric, "when it feels right" planets align. So excuse me for leaving and for staying away.

I stayed away because I felt bad about no longer wanting to send seeds out across state lines at all. I knew that coming back would stir up a shit storm and I really dont spend much time online anymore. I just hope to reprint and sell a few books.

To those who long for my seeds I have a few good companies to recommend.

Subcool makes great seeds and has fine genetics as does REZ if he still does them. THSeeds , the real ones are very good as are Mr. Nice genetics.

There are many wonderful genetics available and it is nice to see my genetics valued and missed. I didnt do this as a business ploy however and I aam not here for anything really.

To all my friends here let me say that I hope you have remained safe and that you have done your part for your world. Only through the obtaining of our own inner peace can we have a peaceful world. Only through the bringing out of our inner higher selves can we be the humans we should be.

More Proof, notice how he never states that he's still making seeds or that ANYONE was continuing his work.

Yeah dudes...I am still alive actually. ;)

How are all of you? Just met a dude at Eddy Lepp's Birthday Party that said someone had said I was dead.

He was gonna set ya straight for me but I figured you wouldn't believe him unless I came and set ya straight.

I see the site is the same pretty much except no BOG Seeds. :(

Well who cares about that but is my girlfriend Indigo still here? I sure have thought about her even though Mrs. BOG and I still have a good thing going...

She is one nice lady indeed whom I have not forgotten.

What about my good buds. Are you still here? You probably all hate me cause I have been gone so long. I am sorry.

Got a bit drunk tonight and mrs bog pissed me off too...

My friends all tell me to stay away from my old business...the seeds you know.

It was evil wasn't it? LOL... fuck no it wasn't.

I still have some god damned good seeds ya know...

I was once considered the bubblegum guru... ah, ego is a bitch, eh?

I met a guy and he had some good bubba...whats your handle dude? He posts here and he is alright.

I miss you all my friends and I am sorry for what I did...

What did I do? I went away mad. Not at you but at Gypsy.

I am still mad but not at gypsy anymore...I am mad at myself.

Is there still a chat room here? I wanna chat. BOG

^^those prove absolutey nothing. Notice how he never says seeds aren't still being produced? Those posts in no way addressed seed production and if this is your "proof", well....LOL

Im sure he cares but what do you suggest he do? The seed biz is illegal in the states, people want to protect their identity, so sueing would be kinda hard. Plus as of today you cant copyright a cannabis strain, anywhere.
seriously, you're seriously asking me this quesiton?

What should he do? Saying something about would the first thing that comes to mind..... :bashhead:

Well you know star athletes "retire" from the proffesional sports team, only to come out of retirement. I think it could be that someone has carried on with his genetics, and he does in fact know about it. He needs to state for sure whether or not his gear is out there, and if its a blessing from him.

I know nothing of BOG, except what I have learned about his superb strains he created.
After reading the last few lines of this letter I can only presume that he is a lovely human being & I am truely grateful for his time and efforts.
Where ever he is I hope he has found peace. We all deserve what our true selves are put here for.

My next subject is: SOURBUBBLE---the cranky bitch of the garden.
I thought she would be a piece of cake to get going. NOT. I know she likes light, but first it seems she must decide IF she even wants to enter this world(and who could blame her?).
Any tips on this bitchy("sometimes all a woman has to hold onto is being a bitch") strain would be GREATLY appreciated.
I have two that are started and seem happy----the rest of the seeds did zip for me. All other strains did just fine.

Peace, love, & as Always~ 'Good Medicine'

Because if I wanted to read a three page argument, I would go to the specific thread for said cause.....It was nicely suggested that those involved agree to disagree and lets move forward. It is clear that everyone has an opinion one way or the other, but can as suggested in an earlier post....move the conversation to its own thread. This thread is not a proving ground for xyzz depot. Please respect the topic of this thread and chill.

Real deal Sour Bub BX3. Be carefull getting up after a hit of this stuff. I saw one guy fall down and tweak on the ground after 2 hits.

One thing I noticed about SB is that you should veg her a long time to get size. The stretching I had was so minimal.

Also, sometimes topping her helps if you get one that is very dense...otherwise the top flourishes and the bottom needs a longer flowering time to finish.

Also transplant timing is critical for yield with Sour Bubble. I am watching the bottoms of the pots everyday for the feelers to start poking through. You would not believe the production increase if you nail the timing. Wait to long and the plants will not utilize all of the final pot in flower. Time it right and veg can still be kept fairly short and still get the desired results. They love the root space and fresh soil. I dont top cuz I pack them in and go for the weight on the main stem.

1000 watt bulbs help also!!!

You hit the nail on the head. My pheno you have to veg her to the hieght you want her cause her stretch is next to nothin. And no to mention the buds are rock hard. Its a great strain to grow and smoke. Now i just need a male to back her up.

Hi Bruja64

The hardest part of the Sour Bubble grow is getting them to germ, and into there first couple sets of leaves.

Scuff and soak all seeds prior to germination, and help the shells off cuz they dont always like to come off easy. I use this tool to seperate the shells if they need help.

Once you get past the first few sets of leaves its all systems go. Just dont let them sit in there containers to long. They need dolomite lime in organic soil also, if you start seeing rust spots. I use BOG's soil and nute regimen and get the results you see.

I noticed this about SB as well, but I pre-crack my seeds, and then plant directly into light potting "soil-mix", like Miracle Grow, or "pro-mix", something that is very light in weight.

I take a nail file and file down the edge on both sides and that worked well

Well Southwind, I can honestly say I have never seen Sour Bubble grown that well outdoors. Truly impressive. The ones I have seen outdoors pale in comparison to those!!!!

Nice job for sure.

Hi Zoo,

Yeah the nail file works great, and I sometimes use a matchbox with sandpaper lined on the inside. Put the seeds in the box and give them a good shake. Anything that will scuff them helps, but as they get older, germination can still be a problem, especially if they were not stored correctly.

I know I've got a challenge coming up with some possible older seeds, but it wont be the first time.

Hey CF1,

Can you do a germ test on those SB seeds..see if its more than usually bad?

Bruja has the same kind.
