Vancouver is going to be my other place in the future I think because there are just so many nice folks like SmokinSean I would love to stop in and visit for awhile.

Meeting Tom Pass the Doobie was memorable and he should have been with me more as I had a brief tour of the hot spots.

I just didn't have enough time but you don't need any permission to go to Vancouver. As I said they didnt even look at our ID and I have brought hash back from Amsterdam into the USA without worry. Some just don't have the balls to smuggle however. I find it fun to outsmart the custom guards and if you are worried just shove that stash up your ass. I doubt they will look there but I don't go to those extremes.

I guess before this thread is over I better tell you one drawback some cities have in common. It is sad to have so many street beggars but in Vancouver even they have it better than most. This was below my 4 star hotel window and it did sadden me. Unfortunately many beggars inhabit the city and constantly hit you up for a cigarette or some money. It seems cruel but it really is best not to give them anything because it is a common way to get mugged also. I saw no crime but no city is perfect. At least these people consider themselves free and that is something I guess. Perhaps I have lived too well for too long. BOG

I have a plan to deal with these folks that doesn't involve scooper trucks and soylent green. Perhaps a community poor house type work commune or something like that.

I am hoping to find some backing for a new place called "The Boglands" Home of BOG Seeds. I want a naturopathic coffeeshop with Volcano Vapes to use as you learn about natural products and alternative medicine. Internet hook ups and direct sales of seeds along with other cannabis accessories.

Maybe I should incorporate and sell shares in "the boglands of vancouver"

St Teflon is back in Vancouver and he is looking out for our interests there. The future looks bright and my son is happy to be going to Canada soon. We may wait on our own store until the time is right and I am in a better position to do it but lots of things are happening now. BOG

Well in canada, the mmj program has changed.

Health canada washed their hands of supplying people mj (it was crap they grew anyways)

Now, they changed the program so that people cant grow their own anymore, patients have to choose a growing company who will supply them. Yes one, from what i understand.

People have challenged these modifications and it seems that people who grew in the past xan still continue growing. (Not really fair is it)

So because of that I hear that there is/was a rise in price but since bc is exporting less and less weed to the south (us-wash/colorado) they still gotta sell it, so it balances out and prices stay good.

Its sad to see canada govment go back in the mj movement while us states are legalizing, even washington dc

There is a lot of nice ganja in bc, and people are the laxest in canada about it
I read an article not too long ago saying mayors of vancouver and neighbouring cities (around 4-5 others) all want mj legalized

Vancouver is a very expensive city. Housing is one of most expensive in the country.
