Straight line 1/4 mile is a different ball game all together. Besides, that is a 2010 GT-R and the new 2012s have 50 more horse power, and a better LC.
However, most people that can afford a LF-A, can afford to have a GT-R right next to it.
Besides, there are more to cars than just the straight line performance. There is something special about a naturally aspirated V10 reaching 9000 rpms...
I am just saying there is more to a car than it's 1/4 mile time.
The LF-A costs a lot, because it can. There are only 500 of them. Saying they are a waste of money, because they only pull a 11.9 1/4, is a bit subjective.
If 1/4 mile times are all that interest you, then a GT-R would be the wrong move. Instead you could get a 03 Mustang Cobra, and put a Kenne Bell SC on it and run 9s & 10s, for 20k.
