I just wanted to stop by and say HEY! A big thanks to CLS!
I purchased a 20 pack of c99 x 4 males that had some funny shaped seeds, so I asked CLS about it... He said they should be fine, but let him know if there was a problem. I germed them, and well some of them came out looking a little funny. In the end I didn't have very many plants. I didn't say anything, but CLS followed up with me! Who does that? Take the money and run man! lol...
Anyway, I just received an envelope from CLS with 30 seeds, imo, of much greater value.
Don't hesitate to buy from CLS!

Oh, and as recommended by Thundurkel, I started using Kangaroots. I followed the recommended dose and gave that to my plants along with their 2 week feeding of Kool Bloom. Hopefully the results are substantial.

SSSDH was a hermaphrodite. Culled and replaced with a Thunkx. What a disappointment... out of my 10 pack of CSG SSSDH f2's, I had 7 males, 2 runts I culled, and 1 hermaphrodite.

My sssdh seed run got some hermies too and pollinated the whole cab.. Now theres quite few male flowers + pods in the tent3.. With CJ and Ele + SR.. I culled three that were having sacks all the way up on the plant.
Rest I just picked the pods and hope for the best!

But there was some vital pollen released..Got quite few hairs turning brown now!

Well that's life..

The only thing is GH nutes are chilated, so they're already ready already for uptake by the roots. All those beneficials are to break down organic nutes... Or so is my understanding. H&G nutes are organic? Do you think I would still see a benefit? I can't see it hurting... I may try it for shits and giggles...

The additives are organic but not all of them, I really think you'd see a huge difference I know when I made the switch I couldn't believe how the same mix kept 5+ strains happy and healthy which I couldn't do with CES 3part and the Rezipe....

Hope that helps, you don't need no diamond nectar and the 20+ additives from GH IMO... Dude I copied is getting 4oz plants in 2gal pots with just Aqua Flakes AB,Roots Excel, Top Booster and Bud XL never going over 9ml a gal with the base nutes and his pics speak for themselves... I also think it's cheaper bro, I almost took the plunge with GH 3part ,both Kool Blooms, Vegan Tea, Floralicious Plus and Diamond Nectar but it was more than my H&G line. For example 1 gal of Micro Bloom and Grow were $32 each and a 5 liter jug of Aqua Flakes A and B are $37 each. Top Booster is $32 a qt and you use it for 4 days and that's it! Bud XL is $55 a qt but only 4ml a gal and used in the last 4-5 weeks unlike Sweet or Bud Candy using 6-15ml a gal for 1-6 weeks or all the way through!!!

Sorry for the rant just thought it might help you out with making a choice, I was iffy for a while too knowing ALL my buddy's but one are GH fanatics but when I got a box of samples enough for a run and I saw how lush my plants were it was a no brainer for me....

Speaking of the ELE's... How are yours coming along? I think it's time to update that thread... The SSSDH f2's were a disappointment, but w/e... My friend has a cut I can get.

Thanks for all that info Thundurkel! I don't buy the full lineup, just the micro, bloom, kool bloom, and silica blast. Now I have Kangaroots... I have to say the plants all look great so far! But the bacteria hasn't truly had time to make it's impact. I'm optimistic. I may try out the H&G line on another smaller room for it's next run. See what kind of results I get.

I'm not popping seeds for a minute... I have to sort through what I have now, decide what I'm keeping... When I do pop seeds, oh boy do I have some good ones.

CLS sent me University of British Columbia Chemo, Landrace Berry Kush, and Berry Kush x Brazilian Indica. I have Thai Lights from Dr. Atomic. Wonder Haze from Rez. AK47 x SFV OGK f2's from Marlo...

I just got the ChemD cut, SFV x ChemD... I can go on and on.

Please believe I'm just going to keep getting bigger and better.

So I pulled out my seed collection... And I have 10 SSSDH x PeeWee aka Dominatrix II, so I'm not so disappointed anymore.

Update for week 3. Thunkx pulled, replace with 1 C99x 4 Males. Hopefully that's the last boy... There's a small Thunkx in the back of the room on the floor where you see a lot of open space. As long as it's a female, I expect that plant to fill a good amount of that space.

Sour Bubble is slow as hell in veg. It took some work to train it to it's final size. The smoke is outstanding. I can yield more with my current setup than I have so far. I'm working on perfecting my skills, and then I'll upgrade... So anyway, 2kw can yield more than 1200w, if you know how to grow the plant. You want Sour Bubble in your garden.

ok here's some week 4 notes...
I follow the REZipe, and I almost never deviate from the plan... But I was curious to see what would happen if I fed the plants a little heavier... so in week 2-3 I increased the nutrient strength by 25%. lol... well lets just say that I got the extra stretch I was looking for, and a bit of leaf curl on about 1/4 of the plants. Too much N. Other than that the ladies took it well. I won't be doing that again. 6/9 it is.
At the end of 2 weeks, with the Kool Bloom, I fed the ladies Kangaroots. IDK how much of a difference this stuff is going to make, but I figure it can't hurt. At the end of week 3, I fed the girls molasses to feed the bacteria from the Kangaroots. I don't use organics, so IDK what they're eating other than the ingredients in the Kangaroots...
I bought 2 400w MH highbay lights and converted them to grow lights. Those will be my new veg lights, so I'll be able to bring 2 more 600w lamps into the tent. The flip will work like a light mover. The only down side is the initial cost of buying 4 USHIO lamps... The results will far outweigh the cost though... I'm gonna rock this tent.

I would like to add that the high-bay lights cost me $15 a piece... 1 25ft 14g extension cord $10... 1 400w MH lamp $32. 1 400w grow light for a total cost of $57. I'm thinking about making a business out of this...
