Bobblerack flip pods......Now that`s a copywright waitin ta be trademarked......:dance013:....

Stayin busy Bro ?....LOL.....Love your enthusiasm.....Not wantin ta bust yer bubble , but Kilz is a primer , not a sealer even though it says it on da bucket......shit`s watered down paint , unless yas use oil base........but....if yas keep puttin more coats on it MAYBE you`ll be aight.......

That 5 gal bucket oughta go a long damn way......Guess I wasn`t specific enough bout the "Ultra-Flat" white "bathroom" mildewcidal paint Krusty usedta preach to us about that wouldn`t allow molds or mildews to penetrate into wall or ceiling surfaces be it wood or sheetrock....

That`s why I sealed my racks with pondliner on the insides , and reflectix on the outsides.........When`s yer birthday.....cuz I`m gettin yas a compressor and nail gun if yas gonna keep DIY`in........teehee....

Gotta luv da Bobble`s......He`s SO gonna nail this shit.....Handle it Bro...

Peace......DHF....:ying:....

I thought about the pondliner in the racks... or even just some thick plastic... but I want to be sure there's nothing growing underneath anything I should put down. Any chance at seeing a picture of your racks?

Luckily I haven't opened up the paint yet, so that's no big deal. I decided to call it a night after I opened up the pondliner, and moved all the finished racks on top of it to be painted... since the pondliner is getting painted too. I had lots of trimming to do... Just trimmed up about 8oz of some Ultimate Strawberry Diesel. :)

I'm gonna need that compressor and nail gun long before my b-day when I finally decide that caregiving is for the birds, and build 16 more racks... Thanks for the support Freds.

ohhh this is gunna be great! WOO HOOOO go Bobble!

Thanks man. I think I'm going to see a lot of similar vertical grows in the future.

Someones been a busy boy.... Don't envy that painting job hahahaa.....

Keep up the good work....

:ying:

Yeah man, I wasn't letting anything stop me from finishing those shelves today. I want the rooms functional by the end of the week. Hopefully not too much gets in the way...

Damn, your are setting yourself up for success !!

Thanks. I've put an incredible amount of thought and time into this. Gotta show you guys how it's done! :)

Bobble, my hat's off to you.. that's a lot of effort being expended and I'm certain it will pay off handsomely for you.

Thank you very much! Normally the more work I put into things, the better the results. Hopefully this is the same.

Nice work.

Sweat shop style.

No way to get it done, other than doing it.

Keep on building.

You said it! I have to make myself quit sometimes when I start making mistakes and getting sloppy... Rome wasn't built in a day. This had better be done by the end of the week though. ha ha...

Brother, I have the equipment to create a hurricane in here, and clean it up afterward. I'll dial it down to a storm though... ;) You're spot was reserved already, just waiting for you to take it.

Go bobble!!!

Bobble, perfect, I was wondering how you could incorperate Heaths design into bigger pots when looking at his thread. Really smart design, I think you may see a few people stealing that one. Will be stopping in to watch this one for sure.

Yeah... I'm looking to be up there with Heath and DHF... When you think of vertical, you will think of me. :) ha ha... Maybe I'm getting too far ahead of myself. First I better grow some plants.

Thanks hiker. how's your grow going? I can only hope to see other people using my ideas. To me, that's the ultimate gratification. That and jars full of cannabis. :D

Excellent work, bobblehead! How tall are you planning on growing your plant's? Tagged.

HGO

Well, they'll have 3' before they hit the lamps, so 2.5' would be perfect. DHF did it with 64 1.5oz plants. I want to do it with 32 3oz plants. I think I should stay legal until I own the property where I'm growing. After I make a few bucks, game on...

I have more pictures.. but I left the camera at the other house. The two 8x8 pods are up, the homebox xxl is up. Tomorrow I'm connecting all the fans and hopefully the water. I'm a littler intimidated with the vertical watering, but I think I've got it figured out (keeping pressure even) .

Pods going up...

Reflectix anyone? I have 2 of these... :D

Pod A taking shape...

Homebox XXL resurrected and reflectixed
picture.php

Intake and Exhaust flanges installed
picture.php

Scrubber hung- the hot air is going to be blown out the back flange, to be sucked up directly by the scrubber.
picture.php

We have water lines run... Mini inline shut-off valves to compensate for pressure.
picture.php

Air will come down here, from the Homebox XXL, humidified to 70%, and ducted to the intake of the pod that's in stretch. Both intake fans are mounted close to each other, away from the exhaust/heat.

I hit my head like 5 times on this fan... probably gonna move it.

That's it for now... Gotta eat, sell some meds... Prolly going back tonight... It's about time to get some plants over there. Hang up some lights... After I do a bit more work of course. My staple gun died... I think it's beyond repair.

I bodybuild, so my hands are callused from lifting... I have lots of splinters and small cuts though. I wish I could stay there and focus on just assembling everything... I don't sleep much these days b/c I'm thinking about the build... It's coming together fast now.

Hey I have a question. I want to suspend my lamps with wire cable. I've looked and found the spool of wire, clamps to round the ends and mount the cable... but I can't quite figure out how to attach the lamps in the middle. I have a few ideas in mind, but I want to hear from anyone that might have more experience than me with wire cable. Cause I don't have any.

I'm thinking I'll have to make separate sections connected by 2 of these...

I laughed when I saw this post, outside of my grow room we have a water line on the side of the house, their was a supporting 2x4 helping to support the stairs above it, my Gro-bro hit his head SO many times, (once I thought he was going to pass out) he took his chain saw out and "moved" it lol. I cracked up because he had this HUGE purple bruise on his cranium when I go their and he was holding his chain saw....I almost fell over I was laughing so hard!

Your room looks off the flippin hook Bro, can hardly wait to see final design, once QUICK question;

On the watering what size pump are you using to "push" the water to the top and can you give us a "little" more description of the valves you are using to compensate for water flow so all pots get the SAME amount of water, I am having trouble understanding exactly how that works because I want to "steal" your design and replicate it in my room lol. Oh also where do you get that reflectix? Is that a HVAC item or something?

EDIT: I found out that my local Home Depot carries Reflectix, also Bobblehead I don't know about how to hang those bulbs, I am struggling too I just got 2 600's for placement under my 1K's and I have to also figure a way to hang two bulbs one under another???

Grow on bro! Your killing it!

Gonna say it again......Gotta luv da Bobbles.....He`s SO gonna NAIL this shit......

No Fear......

Peace .....DHF....:ying:.....

with hanging the lights on the wire, lazyman uses cable to hang all his lights on..I'm sure he says how somewhere in his thread.

wow I didn't realize at first the scale and how many racks fit around each light. What size lines are those? 3/4 --> 1/4 ?

Grow on bro! Your killing it!

watering- I'm thinking I need 1,000gph pump with 10' head pressure... I'm hoping that 2 500's will do the job, cause that's what I already have. I run the 1/2' line up and down the back of each rack, plug in 4 nipples, attach the drip line, and at the end of the drip line, is the mini inline shut-off valve. I can close it, and cut off flow completely, or open it to let however much water through... That's the plan anyway. We'll see how it pans out.

I've hooked up 2 separate watering lines, since I plan on removing 8 racks from this room to fill up the other. So, I will have to dial in 32 shut-off valves at the same time... really the top can stay open most likely, so 24 at a time... If you run the lines horizontal and put large shut-off valves between the levels in the main feed line, dialing would probably be more simple. I like to complicate things.

The easiest way to hang the lamps is with a chain and steel rod like I did in the space ship. Given the cost of wire cable I might just use chain for now... we'll see.
