Well my man DHF i do appreciate the advice. Knowledge like this is invaluable. Im blessed.
I do have a question though. How many watts per room were you running?
Oh yeah Bobble. Before we moved I grew in unheated basement for 5+ yrs, great in spring and fall, way too humid in summer, nice in winter with a little liquid filled heater for lights out, but I did not and could not worry about temp flucuation. Man some days it would be so cold before lights came on. Good luck it all looks great. Still hoping you get that vacation sooner than later. lol
Bobble - Not a bad idea about the space heater. I took off out of town for a few days last month, and I left the space heater on (in the room itself, not in the hut, .. about 10x10) all weekend.. Came back and was relieved (for real) to see my house not-burnt-down.
After that, I felt like I'd gotten away with something and didn't use the space heater, .. (Instead, I switched to a big flood reflector and a heat lamp bulb - probably not much difference in terms of safety).
Anyway, that's a good thought about the space heater. Maybe I could turn it on LOW for just a short time (20, 30, 40 mins) at a time, during the dark cycle, ..
I've got a feeling that once Summer gets in full swing around here instead of this horseshit (rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain), I won't need any of that, .. And instead, I'll probably be trying to work it the other way, ...
Trust me, I'm gonna get a nice vaca... I'm going to have more money available for the vaca b/c of the time I've been putting in. If I'm lucky, Freds will have me down in Hell, and Red's House of Love is a must! I've never been to Cali... I'll stop by your house too Mega! ha ha...
Dude....".mi casa su casa".......your more than welcome.....we could take a ride to Yosemite or just hang at the beach with the bunnies. Would love to show u my grow also. You always are welcome here brother.........Peace
Edit:OR we could blow it up and hit Vegas BABY.......oh yeah!
Why does Fred live in hell? Was he bad in a past life? And how does one get to hell?....LOL
I'm happy to hear that it's working out for you. I know they make space heaters with digital thermostats... You might want to invest in one in the future, probably next winter... cause like you said, summer is almost here. Make sure you're keeping you're humidity up to 70% during the stretch, and cut it down below 50% the last 4 weeks...
I made 2 changes at once... Adding 50/50 RO/Tap water, 5mL a gallon cal/mag... and the plants are loving it!
looking good bobble, let them fill fill fill fill
cheers brotha
Very impressive dude. You're gonna have straight up walls o' reefer!
good to know it's working. i think we have the same municipal water system and i always cut 50/50, but never had to add to any cal/mag to the GH 6/9 recipe. i'm going to try it out, i have some leftover from my last nute regime. some some strains have had a rust spot or too and purple stems but others look perfect.
i can't help but look at the floor and see a lot of space for more plants. i can picture 5 scrog sour bubbles down there, and an extra half pack to the total. i know you need some room to work, just shift them around as you go.
i've been battling humidity lately. it's in the 70s% but so far no PM or mold. more plants and using smart pots have really spiked my numbers this year even with my dehue running 24/7. how many gallons a day can yours pull again? mine does about 5-6? i need more power!!!
i recon that SourD is gona stretch and your going to have to train that bitch in the trelis to fill that mofo up
as red said i also hope they fill fill fill walls a weeds here you come....
very nice pic's bobble very nice
Yeah buddy! I can't wait for the next 2.5 weeks to go by so I can see what I'm really working with... I know the Purple Skunk are going to be great... But I have no clue how the Grape Kush and Sour Diesel are going to stretch. I'm hoping that the Grape Kush is HK based, but who knows... MIway?
