Yeah.....that silicone will never last over those barbs , so getchas some tophat grommets and not worry bout all yer juice endin up on the floor.....
Expansion and contraction from heating and cooling will ultimately break the seal between the silicone and pvc so I`ll leave it to you to upgrade when possible.....
Likin the new lil setup.....Make it happen.....and congrats on the new lil gf stress relief.....good pussy and ass is some wonderful shit.....makes wakin up a whole lot better.......

My bad yo... Yes, the nute solution goes to the room via 1/2" pvc, and enters the 3/4" manifold at a T. That's supposed to help even out pressure, probably why you're asking? I'm thinking about adding a valve at that point to control pressure, should I need to dial down the amount of nute solution being delivered, so that I can increase the frequency...
I suppose I'll share pics when I make that modification.

Just like the 1/4" barbs, but threaded on one end. Just drill a hole slightly smaller and crank em' in.
(cant vouch for the site..just where I found something similar to what I'm talking about).

All is forgiven dude, I'm over it... You're my boy. It's not like you did it to sabotage me. I'm damn near achieving financial freedom in large part due to your advice. I'm running multiple flip rooms instead of one large room... Which is probably a large part of why I was able to eliminate the russet/broad mites and root aphids... If they had spread to the whole house because I was running one large perpetual grow, it would have been much more difficult to control, losses could have been worse. It's the little things don't ya know. I'll get this gravity fed DTW dialed to a "T" and you'll be telling everyone about it.
Those PPK guys are on notice, they need to watch out.and yeah... I'm smiling more lately.

Yeah Bobbz that's why I was asking. I used to run sort of the same design but I was using 16mm flexi pipe, it's much better having the water intake going both directions once it enters the manifold like your already doing.

It's fired up and running as we type... Hopefully it's working just fine. I've built enough flawed systems, I deserve to have one running right out of the gate, dontcha think? As long as this works out, I'll be replumbing the octagon.... And then Mr. D and FHC are in trouble...

10 lbs is a big feat, but it possible.. i dont care who does it, i just wanna see it happenme i need to start growing them heavy yeilders again... i just cant give up the 7 wk flowering SB...in the short run i get little less per harvest, but in the long run i get more harvests per year so it works out well
but back it up i will.. i am 8 weeks out from what i am hoping to be a great harvest
