Wsup blynx! I wanted to ask you how often do you change your bulbs? Have you noticed differences between old and new bulbs in production?

I need t tweak my cabinet growing into this direction... good overall results but got too much popcorn and would have liked more "real" nugs. Looks like you got them !

Maybe this is a stupid question...but here goes...

Are all these grows from clones?

Also, in the 1sqft cab - how did you exactly attach the light fixtures to the wood? What sort of piece did you buy at the hardware store.

I have a 1 sqft tent and not sure how to attach the lights in such a way to the supporting frame, but doing so would save me a TON of room.

Blynx, can you explain or show some pics of how you use the hardware cloth, furnace filter, and carbon....I have almost the same setup with the frame, metal screen, and fart fan but I still have to get the cloth, filter, and carbon....

And where did you get the cloth, filter, and carbon ?

Thanks, SC

I use these screwed right into the box and they give me much more space than what I used to have when I used a PVC fixture with sockets fastened to PVC T's.

Anyways, always looking good blynx! I'm learning a lot reading through this and it definitely helps with my first grow.

I change cfl bulbs when they burn out.

No, I don't notice a difference in production between new and old cfl bulbs.

Yes these grows are all from clones.

As a side note, the veg time listed in my posts is the veg time of the clones in the cabs, not the age of the clones.

I use cleat sockets for the lights. I cut small pieces of wood, screwed them to the upper inside corners of the cab and mounted the cleat sockets on those pieces of wood using screws. The 1sq ft cab is wood, not a tent, so things can be screwed into the walls/frame/ceilling.

You can see some pics in the 2nd post of the thread you're reading now.

I got the idea from the Panasonic whisper fan carbon scrubber tutorial thread. You can see a nice breakdown in the 2nd post of that thread. IIRC the only difference between that one and mine is that I added a top layer of filter cloth and hardware cloth so it's truly more of a sandwich (no carbon can fall out).

Hardware cloth, angle brackets and the filter sheets were bought at Home Depot.

The carbon, I picked up a 5gal bucket years ago on ebay. iirc it's activated carbon a couple millimeters in length (granular), made from coconuts.

I have a Sweet Sativa that I think will fit nicely in the 11"x11" CFL cab. The Sweet Sativa is from seed sent to me some years ago by a friend down in OZ.

Here's the Sweet Sativa before transplant
