Is this Blues a new uk clone? been out of the loop for a while - I guess I'm just ignorant or maybe it's not that common? Either way it looks tops. Nice growing cannaboy.

I think its old school and has survived the years by keeping on being a keeper, I'd love to try, I still havent smoked cheese. I came close the other night a friend of a friend had cheese at 25 an 8th, I thought ok I'll spend the extra fiver to try it, but then it fell through, one day, I'll get to try me some UK classics

We just blazed a cocktail of Cheese/Blues and it was tasty... However,, after some bronchial reasoning,, the Cheese definitely has more terpenes than the Blues does.. lol :canabis:

yeh..... thats the edge the cheese has,,:),,,its that "edge stink" that makes me SO paranoid with the cheese clone,,,but when ya smoke it ya relize,,maybe it was not all worth it:),,,blues is just better :)

cheese is slightly more ripraw stinky, but its like an empty stink when ya smoke it,,,it trys to be fruity but juts never quite makes it,,,,,the blues has that sweet body in the backbone of the smoke an that candyblue flava that shines through:),,,,,,,

We say ,,, we like the smoking-flavour of Cheese more than Blues,, but the effects of Blues more than Cheese.

You're right rick,, a cross to find the right balance is needed :canabis:

All the good herb I used to get 7+ years ago was commercial blue's real pukka and quality import stuff that tasted so good and still does somewhere. Anyway 1 day I got this cheese( Inever heard of it and it sounded shit) and looked shit compared to the growers bigger buddier plants. What did I know. The cheese was from a local man and it was super silly smelly so ripe better than anything before then some cuts of it came through and it is amazing to see your favriout smells and fruits ripen my cheese is still the best to me much more potent and more Intence than the Blue's but Cheese is not for the daytimes the real ripe stuff is a few puffs here and there lol or you smell of it all day long.. the Blue's is a child's weed compared IMHO with a fruit sweet candyberry appeal not raw unadultarated genetics like cheese.

Just a small plant but it swells so much over the last 10 days If small enough in a large pot the buds ripen well into the 12/13 weeks before the very end I like to take plants all the way to see there true colours and flower formations.

Lovely.

Here's the 'Mystery Strain' again - the other one of the mysterious family. This one is even smellier than the blues - not as candy-sweet, but more fuely/solvent - almost like acetone/peardrops...;)

I like that Mystery Strain more than Cheese or Blues, but none of them are anything special really, especially grown hard in hydro commercially,but they do produce well and are good to grow in all aspects, which is why they are popular - dependability over many years. I suppose they are the ford escort, cortina and sierra of this world! lol

I think there's definitely a fair bit of skunk#1 in both the blues and the smelly mystery one, and the taste of the smelly one has me thinking it's also passed round as cheese, cos I've seen a few samples of cheese that smelt and tasted the same as the smelly mystery one. The berry element of the taste has me thinking it has some NL5 in it.

God knows what they are, there were so many skunk and nl hybrids being grown out all over the uk back in the day, and they are all similar gene profiles - big bud, garlic bud, skunk, skunk red hair, skunk x nl, big bud x nl, to me they are all just generic decent dutch commercial weeds, so 1990s lol.

It's ironic that the same genes the dutch were stumbling for kif then shipping to the Uk by the container load in the 90s is now the stuff we are obsessing about.

i wonder if i mightt have got all different cuts from my local dealers [labled as blues].........i wonder if ive allready smoked EM`s smelly 1 and thought it was blues,,,,,,would i have noticed EM,,,all these cuts seem very generic,,,,,,,

but i DO love this type of generic:)
