yeah strawberry pheno of IS was bubblegummy too... pineapple pheno too... in this regard I would not say it comes from juicy fruit thai, as there is no juicy fruit thai in IS, but fron NL genetics. did you grow amnesia core cut? it is bubblegumy, amnesia core is G13/SSH...

but in Blue Sting it can come from F13 too... there is some juicy fruit thai...

like I said there are many phenos, many possibilities in Blue Sting.

Funny you said pineapple, in early flowering it reminded me a lot of lilly, not so creamy more sour.
But now in late flowering it is more fruit mix no pineapple.

The clones are rooted.

HWIMF is hermiing shit.. I selected one without any bananas, I grew it indoors and from cut greenhouse and no nanners. crossed it with haze and got... nanners.. I got some firm females too, without any intersexual issues. so be careful with Hawaiian Gas... still love those gassy phenos...

Thanks for the heads up! In your opinion, is the smoke of the HawGas worth taking the chance OR would you try the Kona Uprise or Mango Vision instead for the first run? I'm definitely popping a few Mextasy's when they land. In my response to the thread at the other spot, I'm trying to finish a couple plants outdoors. I mentioned I much prefer to veg a plant to sexual maturity before flowering it, but do you find a difference in the flower between sexually mature vs plants that go into flower from seed?

you know there is reason why I dont sell HG... first I dont need to sell it LOL and it is too indica for thaihaze hybrid project. not really racy enough. and then that hermie thing. I see only way to grow it: select firm female individual, keep it and grow it from that clone... some of us dont mind seeds here and there, maybe you too. I can tell you for sure that those who keep and preserve HWIMF dont mind it HG is better in it, but still I cant tell what phenotype can pop in your environment... with this stress coupled with moving to outdoors from inside... I would say grow Mango or Kona UP.

I dont sell HG, but I am willing to share it, so this HWIMF genetics can be enjoyed by more people than just closed circle of dedicated boys. hopefully.


I can tell you also, that 14 weeks phenotype of HWIMF... which was reddish and tasted like musky chemical red fruit, but not sweet, very woody too... had a lot of bananas, but the effect was up there with best hazes... because of those bananas, I let it go though.

#1 this is one of the more indifferent, not bad at all but the rest are on another level compared.

#4 Your prediction was correct, the spicy meaty herbal one with the nanners is some fucking great weed.
Almost all I smoke last days... Best one out of the 5 females I got, it is already endagered species from my collection but need to keep some to cure lol
Very potent, gives a mildly psychedelic, light headed euphoric high, not really energetic but if you can keep your mind together the body is able to do some tasks without difficulty and you get in the zone.
Ceiling is really high on this one, but I have a suspicion that if you don't keep smoking more the crash is quite hard when the ride ends.
Shit I would compare potency to a good Killer A5 Haze or Golden Tiger easily.

#5 tropical fruity bubblegummy goodness, the cleanest high of them from early test(still drying), great taste, awesome looking buds (which by the way look really Sour D influenced to me on most plants)

All of my blue sting are in jars and starting to cure. As far as it goes it was a terrible grow on my part. I temporarily quit smoking. Got a new job. For a moment almost lost interest in growing (only lasted a moment). And a lot went wrong. At the beginning I forgot and left my lights on 25% power. Then part way through everything started going hermie. Not just the blue sting. Golden tiger, panama x malawi and panama also. Took a while to figure out the problem. There was a piece of the wall where my ventilation runs next to my daughter's bedroom which had a giant light leak every morning for about an hour while she got ready for work. That's fixed and I'm finishing up a few plants before filling everything back up. Might take a couple months off. It has been several years since I've taken a break. Might just fill with clones. I could always use the extra income.

As for the blue sting. There was two taller plants with more open bud structure and both had a berry aroma with one being much stronger than the other. The stronger one also had lighter coloration and larger calyx and trichromes. The other two plants were shorter with more bud density and not much sweetness or berry scent at all. With one being more earthy with a hint of dark chocolate and the other more earthy and fuel. These plants have a decent amount of seeds in them and the taller plants seem to only have a few. I also had some males in another room making some f2s with archives sour face. So I cannot say for sure if the seeds are a result of the hermaphrodite flowers or the males or combination of both.

I have not been smoking but have shared with my wife, daughter and a few friends. All of which are much lighter smokers and not nearly as picky as I am. So far everyone is super happy for the tall berry phenos and enjoy both the flavor and the high. My co worker commented on how much he liked the trippy rushes it gave him. He re lit the joint after 2 hours and said he was still plenty high at the time. Everyone has liked the shorter phenos also but didn't have anything particular special to say. Everything is curing and I didn't roll up the best buds for them. I'll try again in a week or so. And I'm going to get started smoking again soon and will share my opinions.

I'll get some dry bud pics posted also. I'll definitely grow more of these and hopefully avoid the problems I had this time around.

it seems that most phenos smells like wet basement with something fruity gassy. at one pheno it is the most loud wet basement smell I have ever smelled. some are more skunky than wet basement. one pheno smells like sweet C5 if you know that smell.

it has maximally 3X stretch, some phenos only 2X. and it seems it needs some topping and more extensive vegging than I gave it. ideal for rooms with lower ceiling and still sativa enough.

smells are amazing I cant wait how it will develop further as this is only beginning...
