Hey guys, thanks for stoppin' by, always nice to hear from great growers. I would suggest gettin' those packs outta the fridge and into some dirt, these plants are great. If this gal smokes half as good as she looks/smells/grows i think i'll be happy.. :rasta:

Steele, the smell is complex, hard to describe. There is definitely a citrus-y/lemon leaning pungent bite to the smell at first, but after a couple whiffs you can smell some earthy dank/slightly skunky smell to it, verrry good. She doesn't stink up the place too much, but I can't smell anything over the SSH anyways. Got nice size calyxes and rock solid nuggets too.

Here are two shots from yesterday, almost 6 weeks in I think, 'bout 4 more to go

The trichs look mostly cloudy with some ambers. Are you wanting a specfic percentage amber? Just wondering because this was bred for the sativa effect. I wonder if that happens with all cloudy or does Steele let them amber up more. What is your ideal hesh?

Your plants are very, very healthy looking with awesome frosting. They might be smaller than you aimed for but they are freakin mighty!

I watch tha trichs fer cloudiness but also , what I see most folks overlook is tha calyx maturity . Wait fer ALL tha calyx' to swell giving you maximum effect and yield . Looks like they're well on their way Hesh , nice job thus far .

Very nice Hesh!
I agree with Steele, watch for the calyxes swelling in addition to the trichs.
This strain is very crystally and can look done, but it will reward you if you go around 70 days, this strain swells a lot in the last week or so.

Hey guys, thanks for stoppin' by and thanks for the words. I prefer my smoke to be on the headier side of things, so I usually don't let them go too late, don't need alotta couchlock over this way. :rasta: Since this is my first run with the Sonja and the plant isn't huge I'll take her to 70 days and I don't think I'm gonna be disappointed...calyxes are startin' to swell, just super dense buds even though she's not getting the best light coverage, kinda peeking between a haze jungle and a diesel bush. I'm not worried about yield since this is just personal stash but bushed out with some nice arms this gal could definitely produce...the clones I took were topped and are responding nicely, I'll throw up some pics later.

Two clones that have been vegging for a little while, responding very well to topping/fim, should be some nice bushes. :D

Hey guys, got some updates for ya.

Got about a week or so left on this gal, been about 60 days. One or two more plain waterings and I'm thinkin' she'll be good to go, just keeps gettin' fatter and fatter. The smell is soooo good, mostly lemony earth, slight skunky undertones, hope it carries thru in the smoke/taste, but I'm not worried. :D

I'll throw up some more pics again just before chop. Veg update soon.

Hesh , just saw yer post in tha "Re-list" thread and figured I'd catch some more pics , looks like I figured right . Damn dude , you've really done one kick ass job , lookin very close to many of tha mothers' visual characteristics . Most notably tha fan leaves , they have almost a thin , leathery look (and feel) with a droop on tha blades sides , at finish . Complete with purpled petioles and colored bud (That type o' shit don't make a damn to me , but some folks dig it) . Perfect plant architecture , letting them calyxes swell and trichs turning ..... Beautiful .

Thanks fer sharing with us all ,

Thanks Steele and Mo, she's been a pleasure to grow and will be stickin' around for a while. Man o man can't wait for this one to come down.

Temps have been getting chilly recently, into the 60s at night, thought I would throw up a shot of some of the color she's gettin'. Bet there'll be some great colors this winter. I've been checking the trichs and not quite there yet, and she's still packin' it on so i'm thinking maybe another week tops. Knew I should wrote that flip date down somewhere...Anyways, cleared a huge bush outta the cab today and this girl's got a nice new spot in the corner with much better light to rock out the rest of the way. :headbange:

Hesh you are getting close to wrapping this project up. You have kept the BS healthy looking the entire way too. Nice job. I hope you find the smoke to your liking. It's gonna be great.

What did you chop? The Haze or the diesel?

Thanks Ickis, she's my favorite girl in the garden right now, can't wait to throw some more in, should be another couple weeks. The one I cut was the Orange Diesel, 78 days. 5 gal pot.
