The 2001 movie with the main staring actor Johnny Depp is about drug smuggling first starting out selling small amounts of pot and working up to being a cocaine smuggler for columbian drug lords.
All i can say is I watched this movie hella baked and it makes me want to go back to 60-70 and snort a line seriusly...
But wow I was on couchlock watching it I recommend this movie for sure.

coke sucks..and so does movies about coke....its just glorifying a lifestyle...that type of 'art" is wrong....kinda like the flava flav show and the surreal life...its a trainwreck..no denying that...but somehow..you just can turn away from looking...

Blow was an excellent film and does anything but glorify it's subject matter. I highly recommend seeing it if you have not NYCD, if anything this movie does a great job of illustrating to the viewer the difference between pot and hard drug dealing. The soundtrack is top notch as well, from me.

i thought blow was a great movie...i hate cocaine but the movie was really well done...did u guys hate goodfellas as well cause the one guy got into moving coke?? u can't be serious lumping some trash reality show in with movies that deal with complex and potentially uncomfortable issues...

actually its only 50% chance you'll get addicted to coke. and that was from my drugs class I took a year ago in college.

crack cocaine is worse. but i don't see the flippin big deal with taking a bit of cocaine here and there, as long as your not the addictive type!

seriously i think if we are going to open our minds to cannabis then lets just open it completely up. lets question everything...not just the government supression of cannabis.

i've never done coke.. or shrooms...actually only pot. but $hit i'd be down to try a line of coke.

If you guys liked Blow go rent Cocaine Cowboys. Its basically is a documentary about the real people that Blow is based on.

Yeah blow, is very well done and Im really into films and its like i dont think like 300 deserves an emmy or oscar of any sort but its good a really good film is like Blow,Walk the line,Capote.

You people that say "i hate what those drugs do to people" or "that drug did this too me..." or "it ruined my life" or my brothers, sister, uncle, whatever...

Do you not realize the drug itself is not evil, and it does not "Cause" any of these problems. You made the decisions to do what you did and get into trouble, the drug's don't "make" you do anything. I have been addicted to a few different things, however I have an addictive personality and have grown up a little bit since then, I paid for some dumb decisions when I was younger, and I bet to this day my mother still thinks the drugs "made me do it".

I also don't try to blame my actions or others on "drugs" or other moral problems, because that is just wrong. To me its the same thing of doing something in the name of religion.

To put it into perspective for everyone. The statement:
"Pot makes you lazy"
is the exact same thing as
"Cocaine makes people steal"
"Heroin makes people rob pharmacies"
