Blockhead and friends

Macster, thanks for stopping by. If you keep your eyes open, and happen to be at the right place at the right time, you'll stumble upon the blockhead. They bay usually has them listed on weekend specials, however they never stay up there too long. I've heard of many getting great results from the mixed pack, but it's virtually impossible to tell which seeds are what before growing them out. The blockheads I'm running are all from clone. I've had the mom around 2.5 years or so. From clones I get between 2-3 oz. per plant. On this run I didn't have one plant less than 2 oz. I have yet to process the remaining plants, but they look to have closer to 3 oz. each. Hope this helps.

Budluver, thank you for the words of encouragement. I'm just trying to put back a little of what I've gotten out of this place. I really love it here. If there's anything I can ever help you out with, don't hesitate to ask.

Here's a shot of my breakfast today. When I was done making it I noticed an uncanny resemblance between the sausage and something else I had just made, my hash ball. This ball is 11.4 grams of blockhead trim. I'm gonna make the rest once I've finished trimming the remaining plants. I've got a full day of work ahead of me and when I come back hopefully I'll have some nice updates of how things are moving along. Take care everyone. :rasta:

So you didnt make it? :D

I sampled yesterday some pressed Neville´s Haze dry sift and I know how high homemade hash can get you..

However, I dont have the amount of starting material which will result/yield even 5 grams per strain of AAA+++ -grade of hash. But something special for me & girlfriend every now and then is never wrong  Even I am quite satisfied to the yield of bonsai NH, I dont think I got enough bud´s to make hash from them, so I only use trim when making hash.

Check this new NH gal, I hit her with some purps pollen btw:

Zoom and check out the resin production of this strain in quite early flowering. I just rubbed her last week to make little finger hash, which I havent smapled yet and now, she is glistening full of trichomes once again.. I can tell you that these early NH trichomes can be very racy & trippy:

These baby crossed to some of the goodies ;)

Looking great Krome, that neville's haze looks like a very nice strain but i was wondering how her flower time is? and was it a mendo purps male used to dust her?

just curious because i got some snippets of some purps male crosses from last year from a buddy... should be excellent...

anyways your damn breakfast pictures got me all hungry so i think im gonna go whip up some grub in the kitchen.

Check ya later :joint:

@Dimebag: This Neville´s Haze cutting I run, can be harvested after 75 days considering good potency, but low yield, but I let it go 93 days (I think). I think she maybe does give one more harvest window, which I gonna try with this one.

Here´s the same NH cut which I harvested couple weeks ago:

The purps used to cross with NH was bcbd "the purps", the same strain than Krome grows. The male used was very sturdy & vigorous.

Sorry for these pics Krome, just let me know and I erase them.

Whaaaaaz up? Hope its all irie out there. Been working hard on getting the room filled up again. I transplanted about half of the plants into 3 gal. pots. I'll finish up the remainder tomorrow and get some pics of the room in veg. I'm thinking about 1 more week veg and then we'll fire it up again.

Strains on deck for next round:
Blockhead
Purps
Triangle
Chem x Sour D - Elite (will be good to see the diff. between Rez's)
Chem D x Sour D - Rez (looks much better already in veg.)
ChemHaze x Sour D
Banana OG
Querkle
Chocolate D x Lemon Thai

After that I've got a few killer Deep Chunk crosses on deck about 2 weeks old. I also have some GDP and POG on deck as well so needless to say I'm pretty stoked about the next few months.

macster, my methods are fairly simple for the most part. I use promix (I prefer the HP, but if using the BX add a good bit more perlite). Chunky perlite is the bomb but not essential. I like to add a good bit of perlite to make it nice and airy. My only real additions are mycorrhyzae(sp?) and dolomite lime. I usually start my clones out in 1 gal. pots. My veg time varies from 2-4 weeks, depending on how other things are going. For the most part 2 weeks in 1 gal pot. Moved to 3 gal. pot for 1 more week veg, then thrown into flower. As far as the nutes, I have found FloraNova to be the bomb. A little really goes a long way with this stuff and only 1 part so no real mixing involved. I use the grow formula for the 1st 2 weeks of flower and then switch to the bloom. I like to feed, water, water. You could feed more if you wanted to, you just have to give the ladies what they want. In between feedings I use a little guano(fox farm big bloom) and seaweed(maxicrop) when I see fit. About the beginning of the 5th week I add Koolbloom to the FloraNova feedings (very light at first, slowly building up). And to finish off I like a good 2 week flush if possible. 1 week would suffice, but I like to let them go till the end if I can. This is pretty much it in a nutshell. A few things different here and there, but that's the basis. My lights are 4K HPS Sun Systems with Hortilux bulbs. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.

Endo, any luck finding those seeds? Hope you find them and get them cracking.

Herbalistic, that's one hell of a lady you have on your hands. She looks like a nice mate for some purps pollen. Keep me up to date on the progress of that project. You're always welcome to post what you want around here.

Alrighty, I'll get some pics up tomorrow or the next day of the room right now. Damn, I just remembered that I haven't even updated this since the harvest. I'll get to that in the next couple of days as well as there's still a couple of hangers to deal with in the overall tally. Updates are pending for sure.

Couple of nug shots.

Kromeman, I have to say you know how to grow & photograph. However, I think those buds would look awesome even with my current, but so lousy camera, so

Damn, everyone of those nugs look very tasty, cannot lift another higher than another, they are all POTM integrients;)

Herbalistic you're too kind man. Honestly, I myself think it's amazing how nice the picture come out from my camera. It's not like it's some super expensive, high-tech camera either. It's a Nikon coolpix s6. I got it last year and have gotten some killer pics from the past year on a couple of nice trips and also the girls. I feel so honored to even be considered for POTM honestly. I'm pretty sure I won't win, still it's good to even be considered.

Budluver, sorry no GDP pics just yet. Just obtained it about 3 weeks ago so it'll be a while before I can get some pics up. Hopefully in the mean time I'll be able to hold you over.

I'll be back later with a couple of shots of the other two white mustangs that just got done drying and are ready for the jars. Hope everyone is keeping irie.

Hey Krome..your pics have my mouth watering again..whew..I recently bought a Canon 710 something?? I have a way to go before I master those macro shots like yours..IRIE The Querkle and Blockhead are especially gorgeous in the color dept and I think the Triangle is the frostiest.Any idea of its lineage.I know you said they call it the white whare you're from.I wonder if its related to WW? Doesn't matter..DANK is DANK!!!!

Herbalistic...nice plant Bra.How tall is it? It looks like you did a really good job keeping the stretch under control. Was it a clone? I look forward to having a grow room with 8 ft ceilings so I can grow some sativa trees.Hope you don't mind the inquiry Krome

Damn you have an awesome garden Krome. Those plants are loving that green thumb you got there.

Is that purps clone only? Where'd you get that beaut. Everything else looks killer too.

Too bad that triangle isn't a big yielder cuz those nugs look incredible. Good luck on the cross.

I used to grow in Pro-mix/sunshine#4 also, but I've recently switched to a coco drip. Just wondering if your watering all of those by hand or what?

Scrappy, thanks a bunch for the compliments. The triangle is definitely certified DANK. From all of the pics of the OGs and whatnot, I would think that this is the closest I'll get to those. The abusive looks like some serious FIRE!!! I would love to get my hands on that cut one day.

Budluver, as far as the triangle goes, the only real info I have on it is that it came from some seeds labeled Triangle some 8 or so years ago. A friend grew it and gave it to another friend because "it wasn't that good." Yeah right! It has become the crowd favorite where I live. It's only called "the white" because that's the color of the buds. No light green, or green tint at all. Simply white with some orange hairs. I don't think it has any relation to widow or rhino or anything else white. It just looks so white that it is always referred to as "that white stuff." Don't worry, it won't be long till you experience her raw power.

GangstaLean, that's hilarious. Old school Michael at his finest.

meduser180056, I appreciate your approval. I try my hardest to treat the ladies right. The purps is a pheno I got from a pack of beans from BCBD. I know they don't have a great name around here, but needless to say they do have some good gear. Their delivery times are probably the worst out of any company I've ordered from, but they have come through every time for me (3/3). It's also funny you mentioned coco. I do hand water every plant, but I enjoy getting in tune with each and every one. It does get a little tedious at times, but what you put in you get out. I have an opportunity to get another grow going and am seriously contemplating running a coco room. I've been searching the coco forums just trying to get a grasp of the basics. There's a good chance that I'll be busting out some coco in the upcoming month to give it a go. Any suggestions? Were you one of the ones who once tried coco never looked back? Let me know if you've got any pointers for me as I'm all ears.
