FreeMan - Dude! Been a while......see you got some nice buds on display in the Field Marshall thread. Nice work!

Thanks bro, Haze Kush seems to be top drawer so far. I trimmed a little popcorn out at 3 weeks to help the tops a little. Dried it up naturally and it nailed me, I can't wait to see what she's got when she's finished.

Good to see the old cab is still in use too. I was just wondering if you've done any experimenting with smaller pots in there? I'm not a soil man so I'm not sure if that's about as small as you can go at that stage. If you could get away with it you could start a lot more beans and get the fem count up!

Happy growing man :tiphat::ying:

Shafty - ya got me, I'm a terrible hippy slob......I need to give it a clean....I'll get on it....sooner or later

FreeMan - I might be able to go smaller......I've probably got some teeny tiny pots kicking about somewhere.....although the 1 litre - 1.4 litre size takes me all the way through to preflowers + without any fuss, and then I go straight up to 3 - 6.5 litre. I'm lazy as well as a slob, so the less transplanting I have to do the better. I admire the guys with the dedication to do about 5 repots for each plant!

I've got 3 beans in the towels at the moment, so my hand will be forced to go smaller if anything pops in the next couple of days, just to squeeze them in.

Good idea, though.... :chin:

i like repotting several times to increase root mass... more of the medium will be used in the larger pots rather than jus shooting straight for outter edge

Plastic party cups are legendary. 50-100 usually less than a pound and they seem to be able to support them for quite some time, not sure if they'll get you to pre-flower though, I guess it would depend on the genetics. Keep up the good work anyway bro, as usual, I'll be lurking ;)

Thanks for the kind words, VG :)

Very pleased with her progress so far, although she's just starting to show a little burn at the tips (repot + a feed + pond water for the latest watering has just pushed her a bit too much).....nothing she won't grow out of.

Here's the first of the (Exodus Cheese x Deep Chunk F1) (aka Chunky Cheese) from your stable. I have a feeling this is yet another male....but I love the way this grows!

nice pic, that is the first ive seen of that cross, and it seems that stories of DC's dominance in the cross are not exaggerated!
apparently the real fun starts at the f2's - over to you mate ;)

These two are a bit younger.....but still promising to be quite DC dominant, although maybe not quite as exaggerated as the Cheese/DC.

I also have a Spoetnik x DC in there, which is a different pheno from the one I grew out before - it doesn't have the extra-long petioles, although this may be due to being under the HPS rather than the CFL. No pic of that one at the moment, as the camera is recharging at the moment.

The lemon thai x DC was already crossed, and a generous gift from another ICmagger. As to it's original origin.....I don't know.....probably the bay, but I don't ask those questions (never look a gift horse in the mouth). ETA: Not a cut.....but beans.

I have a pack of Nirvana "Travelling Thai"....which I have been totally unable to find any information on...think it must be an old line...need to pop one or two and see what they are like.....

cool saw some lemon thai somewhere god knows where ill add it to the book of upcoming crosses lol
found some basic info on traveling thai

Mau found this exclusive strain on one of his trips throughout his second homeland Thailand. Here he did learn about the real Thai specifics that a real Thai strain should have.

Small leaves on tiny legs brings you an up lifting high. This gives you the right feeling about traveling through Thailand. Comfortble relax and exotic !

cool stuff blimey - interesting to see all the DC crosses. so far it looks like one of the only traits not to carry over are the incredibly long leaf stems! - thanks goodness!

the LT was not a massive stretcher - to my untrained eye i would say it was thai and afghan mixed. crossed with dc it might have a nice fast flowering period of 8 weeks or so.

im glued to this now.

The Sausage Factory rolls on.....

Not the most recent boy to show, but I'm keeping this guy around for a while....if I can find a decent female before he climaxes, he may be used for stud duties.......the Chunky Cheese:

The (Spoetnik x DC) was a boy...chopped.

The (LT x DC) and (Blueberry x DC) are still to show sex.....the BB x DC seems to be going slow.....didn't have the greatest root system when I up-potted it. The LT x DC will be up-potted today, and is growing more vigourously.

All is not lost - I just found a pistil!

On the lankiest, stretchiest plant in the cab.....the one I was convinced would be a boy just by the bean-pole growth!

So we are 3 girls......for 12 boys.....8 in the tent unsexed.....if all 8 are girls, I'll be back on track :ying:
