Did some major pruning and cleaning today. I took all my moms and trimmed all the dead and small crap out. They're going in the room very shortly. I took clones for new moms, it will be nice to have some room in my veg area. I also have a nice rotation going on. My garden is perpetual but not on any system. When a plant finishes another goes in. I rotate between the strains I love and our test stock.
Here's the Bo-Bo mom, I've had this one for over 2 years now.
Pollen Chuck, probably 3 weeks left.
My first crack at Romulan, this plant was in pretty sad shape and hasn't gotten much better. I still have 3 romulans in veg.... one male and 2 that have yet to show.
Bo-Bo, topped this one and it is a monster.
Sour Puss, (first gen, pheno3) on second week of flush. May take another week to get her flushed out.
A shot of what's in the seed cab... zombie parents.
It was a mom, the undergrowth was all small crap. It will yield much better this way. Not going in for another 2 weeks so the tops will spread out even more.
awesome update bro,i will have to try ur system with some of my moms i never get good yield when i try to flower a mama out.i dont even try anymore bro as soon as the clone of her gets rooted i usualy kill the old mama and burn in fire pit.i ave some mamas that will be gettin rep[laced here real shortly, thanks for the tip.peace-T-
That one never had been re potted or root pruned. I just started poking a small bamboo stake into the soil around the top of my plants once a month to aerate the soil a bit, I suppose it would tear roots as well. A crude way of root pruning lol. I normally do this the same time as a good flush with plain water or water/molasses, also get's lots of oxygen down to the roots. I've noticed the plants have really taken to this. I've also tried this method with my flushing, seems to help get the water moving through the soil quickly.
