I'm holding out to see what happens during the next major recession. Just based on history there's been a recession around every 10 years. The stock market is soaring to new highs as the fed continues to pump out nearly free money. Asset inflation just like the mortgage crisis but worse. Publicly held debt is out of control. Student loan debt of 1.5 trillion, 7.5% of the national. Debt based economy, if debt doesn't grow the economy will collapse. If the big gop tax plan doesn't go trough I'm guessing the us will go back to war economy to continue debt growth. What happens when the us economy collapses?

This is uncharted territory so who the hell knows. Right now I have more confidence in magic internet money than the us economy. Isn't that what it's all about? CONfidence

Since I don't consider Chuck E. Cheese pizza as food, I'll take bitcoin. Since the merchant cares not about physical currency, I'll take bitcoin. Since buying heroin doesn't register on my radar at all, I'll take bitcoin.

Seriously though, I prefer other coins than bitcoin. ;)

Good luck with that! LOL
They'd have to shut down the internet to stop it. Raise your hand if you see this happening for bitcoin. :) Ask various countries how effective banning bitcoin has been. It's a decentralized currency, without any one point it can be shut down from. You would, literally, have to destroy every copy of the blockchain on the planet. hehehe Oh yeah, remember to erase all copies of the publicly available and downloaded software. ;)

Heck, let's just tell all the companies out there they can't play with blockchain tech, 'cause someone will re-invent the illegal bitcoin! lol

Sorry, funny subject for me today. :)

what i am saying is bitcoin is generating some serious fear from some places

Dude, we eat clean food around here. Chuck E. Cheese is NASTY! You have any idea what that crap does to my kid's attitude and logic fucntion? lol Not a treat.

I have to admit, my personal involvement with bitcoin is a massive $48. :) lol It'll have to put on quite a few zeros to buy me much. :)

for starters, it's NOT any kind of inference that anyone be eating CEC pizza, I eat only NY pizza and yet I live in northern Minnesota, I've never even seen a CEC restaurant.

and hey, as long as you brought your kids behavior into the equation, make sure they don't have cell phones until they can afford to pay the bill in full on their own, that shit is friggin' brain rot, payin' your bills is the way of the world.......

word.

You definitely have me beat on that point, consider yourself lucky. I've actually eaten there. lol

:tiphat: Right on point there. My kid is rather sharp and their digital pixel time is restricted for the same reasons you list for phones. lol Be strict, they'll thank you for it later. :)

Has everyone finished searching their old computer harddrives and cell phones for bitcoin wallets? You're looking for wallet.dat files in a bitcoin or other coin directory. Some coins use a different file system. All of the coins, with any sense behind them at all (and some without lol), are going up in value on the exchanges. Craziness really. heh

Bitcoin Cash is gaining steam. All the recent attention with bitcoin has driven the transaction fees ridiculously high. A sub $100USD transaction is costing around $20 to have it confirmed within 1 block. Would you pay $20 extra, just to use bitcoin?

Bitcoin Cash is significantly quicker and cheaper, the main reason it was created. It looks like it may actually be a contender. ;)
