I would have to say until someone proves it does exist, then there is no such thing.

That's like saying prove to me there isn't an eight legged Indian Elephant. That argument doesn't cut it with me.

I can recite that song word for word lol... I love where he tries to "surf" on his back to get the pick...
I do understand the why the skeptics, are skeptical, but I cannot deny the things I have seen. I don't know who wants to get into this, but I have seen some weird(not from this earth) shit. Ghosts, sea monsters, UFO's... All that crazy crap. and yet, there is no proof of any of it... None of this was an acid trip, it is all from when I was younger.

There are a lot of professional animal-hunters out there (hunting as in locating, not killing), and a LOT of species have been found and identified/documented. Yet even though "Big Foot" is amongst the most well-known and most-sought-after of them all there has never been a single PROOF of its existence.

Why is it that we can find proof of existance of so many animals that nobody has ever even heard of before, yet we can't find proof of existence of perhaps the most well-known creature of all-time (other than perhaps Nessy) ?

I'll let you draw your own conclusions ;)

ha no fuckin way i believe in UFO's (not as "martian" ships anyway)

sure there are un-identified flying objects, but in my opinion those are man made ....we just dont know what they are at the moment.

the only way i'll ever believe any of this crap is when i see solid proof.

"I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out of focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get out of here."

Let me first say for the record, I have never seen a sasquatch. I grew up without electricity in an extremely remote corner of southwest Oregon (coast range), prime sasquatch country, and have never happened upon any physical evidence of its existence. BUT--you knew this was coming--that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. One of the most convincing collections of evidence that I have seen were presented in "Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science" on the Discovery channel a year or so ago. There was mountains of what we would call "secondary evidence": recorded vocalizations, casts of footprints (complete with dermal ridges), video (sorta shaky), hair, purported bigfoot shit--you name it, they had it. The evidence was examined by specialists (i.e. Ph.D.s), and they all came up with a similar conclusion: there is something roaming the Pacific Northwest and it appears to be a long lost great ape of some sort.

The most convincing evidence (to me) was the dermal ridge evaluation and the statistical distribution of foot size (collected via plaster casts).

(1) The dermal ridge data was examined by an expert in forensic fingerprint/footprint analysis. His specialty was great ape fingerprint analysis--so perfect for the job; the findings were that prints collected from plaster casts were similar to the great apes, but remarkably different (i.e. related to apes/humans, but a different animal than he had ever encountered in his work).

(2) Hundreds of footprint casts have been collected over the preceding decades. They were all measured and analyzed by a biologist who specializes in population dynamics. His findings were that the footprint sizes match exactly what we would expect to see in a natural population (i.e. normal distribution). For this to be a hoax would require coordination by thousands of people over decades of time. When this is combined with the unique dermal ridges (and much more secondary data as well), it becomes more than a bunch of wackos claiming to see something.

None of this is conclusive. A live sasquatch is obviously the gold standard, but the findings--made by experts who were admittedly skeptical to begin with--were enough to give me pause. I highly recommend the DVD to everyone.

find a human body, anyone go out and find a dead human RIGHT NOW ,but you can't go to a cemantery or a funeral home..not so easy? and look how many humans there are....

people assume alot when it comes to "bigfoot"

it could be smart to bury it's dead,or it could be cannobolistic, there pleanty of "proof" not enough without a body of course, but certainly not enough proof aginast it,why do people have to be sooooooo damn certain ether way,a simple "could be" i think would suffice when there isn't enough proof denying it nor proveing it

assume its the "missing link" to our evolution, now, its smarter then an average animal but also has more animal instincts then humans,i'ed think somthing like that would be diffacult to capture

i also think MOST bigfoot sightings are reguler animals thay have been mis-identified,with the amount of sightings,i'ed think there be more solid proof, now,is EVERYONE mis identifing animals? i doubt it,alot of people lie,but EVERYONE,i doubt that also........even that dude les stroude from surviverman had a expernce with bigfoot, while he says he didn't see anything,he "heard" somthing he has never heard in the woods,he surely knows what most woodland creatures sound like, yet he's NEVER a heard a animal sound like it? a bit odd.

yea,i think its safe to safe to say, maybe there is somthing, maybe

i highly doubt that there is a "bigfoot" population, but mountain gorillas were a "myth" until the mid 1870's

Rumor has it that the sasquatch were killed off by fast moving herds of jackalopes.

U hit the nail on the head. I saw that special on tv that talked about the dermal ridges and whatnot. Plus, people ask why there has never been a body found....well, have u ever found a dead deer or bear in the mountains? Of course not. I guess there could be a slim chance one might but hitting the lotto is just as good as chance.
