Current seeds purchased from Big Buddha and my old cross of Sam Skunkman Skunk/Haze x Mixed Seeds crossed to Grand Daddy Purple Bay 11. I think I made these around 2012. Using LC’s Organic soil recipe in all pots. Three Big Buddha Cheese and Two Big Buddha Blue Cheese in 4 gallon pots and 8 Skunkman crosses in one gallon pots. After they show sex I’ll up pot the females. Depending on space.

Not much happening at day 32 of veg. Big Buddha recommended that his strains be flipped to flower when they are between 20 and 32 inches. He didn’t specify which strains at any given height so I’m waiting until all of my Blue Cheese and Cheese plants are about 24 inches tall to change to flower. A couple are a little slow growing at about 13-14 inches tall and three are at about 17 inches tall. I may have to do a little super cropping on the taller plants if they get to the desired height too early.
Here is the bag Big Buddha sent me with his gear and a couple of little swag gifts. Nice touch.

Thanks Zen for coming along.
Flipped to flower on the 10th. The organic LC’S mix I found on the Organic growing section here on ICMAG is holding up great so far. I had to add a little Dr. Earth’s fertilizer in the the gallon pots, which I expected. I’m eager for one gallon pots which has the Skunk/Haze cross in them, to show sex here within the next two weeks and then I can remove those male plants.
Here is a pic. taken this morning.

Culled 4 males and spread out the Cheese, Blue Cheese and 4 Skunkman cross plans and one Mosca freebie that I don’t know what it is.
Also a pic. of the Ace Honduras x Panama feminized that I’ve topped twice and will top a third time this week. After that grows for another one to weeks after the topping I’ll flip to flower.

When they get a little farther along I’ll pull out individual pants, take pics, label and take measurements. Then we can see how each plant is coming along and compare them.

Day 19 of flower. All of the Big Buddha Cheese and Blue Cheese are growing beautifully. I’m very impressed with his genetics. Stem rubs reveal some strong and very nice fragrances. When I flipped to flower the plants were between 20-22 inches tall. They are now between 36-39 inches tall. I fimmed them several times and I think these would be very tall if I hadn’t.
I learned recently the proper topping techniques, if I would have discovered that sooner I would have many more tops than I have. Live and learn.
So far extremely pleased with the genetics, the organic soil mix and my new led light. Grow Light Science PROGROW 640. I’ve had no problems so far and this is the smoothest grow I’ve ever had. Every plant looks very healthy.

Im a huge fan of the Blue Cheese ever since it was released. Got 1 in veg now and also got a Exodus Kush which i would recommend you to try if you are a cheese lover :)

Made some dumb adjustments to my tent by adding more plants when I swore to myself “ this time” I wouldn’t do that. I only had 5 plants in my 4x4 and they all had plenty of room to spread out and grow. They all did reach full growth I think and then I decided to dummy up and shove them closer together and add a couple more plants and one is a doozy.
I added an Ace Honduras x Panama fem. plant and another Blue Cheese from a clone I took earlier. Ace HP is going to a beast but I’ll do my best to tie her down all over the place, should be interesting. The ACE is in the organic mix I used for all of the Big Buddha plants. Shout out to Big Buddha for some fine genetics.
The Blue Cheese clone is not topped at all and it’s to grow out as natural. I put it in a soil mix called 5-1-1. 5 parts triple ground bark mulch, one part peat and one part perlite. It’s claim to fame is that it is super well draining and there is never any root rot. It is indeed super well draining because every time I water it seems like 90% goes into the drip tray. You have to water almost every day but you never have to worry about over watering. So I don’t mind.
You need to make it ahead of time and let the lime correct the ph and it takes a couple of weeks. For every 10 gallons of bark mulch use 3/4 cup/150 grams of lime. I water with 1/4 teaspoon of Jack’s Classic All Purpose with has micros. I may need to adjust that higher because the plant is looking pretty lime green. It is new growth however and it is growing pretty fast so we’ll see. This is new for me growing ganja with this mix and fertilizer pair so there could be bumps in the road ahead. So far so good.
A few pics. I pulled out my tallest Blue Cheese, now at 40 inches/101.6 cm and took a few shots. Then the octopus Honduras/ Panama and the Blue Cheese. One of the Blue Cheese shows the sharp contrast of the lime green new plant compared to deep green of mature plants. So please let me know if you think I need more nutrient.

When I rub up against the Cheese plants or pick off some leaves that are growing towards the middle of the plant, they smell like sweet grapes. Not Cheese but grapes. But if I do a stem rub it’s funky as hell. Can’t wait for the finished product.
I’m sure as they mature they will get funky but it’s interesting that right now they smell very sweet.
