Wishing death + other atrocities upon those who disagree with ones opinion is abominable and is the reason why so many here in the SC are on my ignore list. I care not about a persons political leanings. I do care about a sound moral compass. It's quite telling where the 'majority' here are standing.

Y'all keep parroting on about wearing masks/ social distancing "for the greater good" while out the other side of your mouths, condemn folks who differ in their opinions to horrible ends. smfh.

BTW mr thinks he's such a smart fella; salt = life. With out salts, there is no life.

I’ll agree with your first line and your very last sentence.
I don’t wish death on anybody, nor do I excuse anybody’s death. I think you’ll find a majority of maskers feel the same way.

I find it curious you respond to a meme, obviously meant as a joke, while ignoring threads on a more serious threat level. Maybe you just missed them or thought them so absurd that you didn’t take them seriously.

Personally I wish everybody would settle down with their threats of violence. I don’t blow up my truck because it needs a few parts replaced. I commend you for that.

I do not have the time to read and or reply to all that I may get the urge to. I also do not have the energy to quibble with the clueless nor do I want to delve too deeply into the negativity. I was at a point where I was getting super snarky so... I'm now curbing who/ what I reply to. Occasionally though, something will get my dander up and I will loose the battle with myself to simply walk away, sigh.

Our buddy gene tends to post numerous memes and posted that particular one previously... somewhere.
In this thread I took it as a response to my post. I may be wrong but; that prompted my reply.

The meme itself is lame (as are the greatest % of those I've seen) and I find no humor in it.
For the most part, I have pretty good reading comprehension and I'm thinking ole gene there was attempting a put down, shrug.

What some find as humorous or "a joke" typically is not really funny. Jokes are most generally aimed at devaluing/ making fun of others. Ever watch a comedic stand up routine? What is the fodder of said "jokes"? Other people's misfortune comes to mind.

Haaahaaaahaaaa...I keep thinking the bottom of the barrel has been reached, then I read something like this.
I GUARANTEE y'all can't keep this up for 4 years. It takes way too much effort to be willingly blind to reality.
Im trying to focus my criticism on the latest republican president, good ol sleepy Joe, but trumphumpers are still running their yaps, and that level of stupidity makes it difficult to focus on what's important.

My first real bone of contention is all these segments focusing on young girls talking about what a role model Kamala is. What a load of shit! I've said it before, if repubs were smart enough to focus on reality, they could tear that bitch up! But instead, I'm sure they will just fabricate a buncha stupid shit and push themselves further over the edge!

I’m trying to curb the snakiness. Trying to ignore the put downs. I’ve blocked a lot of posters. I’ve put up with some. I welcome opposing viewpoints. I even have a remote on my tv. I watch all the channels. Some I can’t handle for more than a few minutes, but I do try to get the exposure. I don’t like their opinions being pushed on me. I don’t like Judge Jeanine screeching at me. Telling me what molehill I’m supposed to be upset about. Same thing coming from the liberals, though I tend to agree with them a little more. I prefer those coming from actual life experiences. I’ve had a few myself.

I admit I find some of the memes amusing. I’ve also ignored some, not taking them too seriously. Most of them are propaganda. One sided. They’re really just parroting some one else’s opinion.

Don Rickles and Andrew Dice Clay come to mind. I never found them funny.
