i can't speak for the other mods,but for my part once many of the bad actors got banned and the back and forth insults more or less stopped then i was content to let things be...


in this case i can speak for the other mods,none of us really want to deal with modding here in the speakers corner...after all we're all supposed to be adults,and a certain amount of passion is to be expected...and it's a thankless task where it's difficult if not impossible to not have an opinion either way...


and once again,it's not like we get trained to do this...




that said,it's better for a mod to use the report post button so the rest of the team can discuss bans and use the recycle bin to remove post so they can be restored if need be...


the one exception to that would be someone directly insulting or threatening a mod...that won't be tolerated...for the most part...i'm willing to let a lot slide because i take part in these threads...but there is a line that shouldn't be crossed...
