Ok after getting baked and confused I spent few hours watching pictures of male / hermie plants. Fucking hell I can't really tell if this are balls or not. They got some hairs looking like pistils but I'm not sure... This time I got proper pictures and they are focused enough to see what's on screen. Please guys have a look again and confirm if that's a boy as I'm getting paranoid here.

they are false seed pods i didnt realise your plants had already sexed and were flowering otherwise this would of been easier to tell you what they were

Yeah they already sexed and I was wondering if they not turned hermie and started growing balls. So I assume that pictures shows female flowers and I was tripping my balls aye ?
yeh as Skotty said, they are just the calyxs from the first preflowers that have become larger.

It's been a while since last time I posted so I'm gonna make update on my grow. Everything is going good so far and 3 of my girls are getting ready. Smell is delicious. All of them are 55 days old and that's theirs 8th week.
Fastbud should finish in 7 and half week so she probably gonna be ready in a week I hope. Less then half of hairs turned orange tho. She smells amazing, stems are sticky in resin and I can see lots of crystals.
I'm thinking about start flush soon but I'm not sure if this is the right time? Maybe I should let her go for another week and then when half of hairs are orange I'd flush her? Any ideas? I need to do some more readings on that anyway.

AutoAssasins are doing amazing. Taller pheno has massive cola and a lot of buds. She looks like she's gonna be Oz+ plant. Definitelly biggest bud producer in my garden. Stems are sticky in resin and she has lots of crystals also really nice sweet smell. Smaller pheno is half size of it sister but I should get some decent smoke of her too. I guess they are gonna be ready in another 2 weeks (short stuff says it's ready in 8-9 weeks). Any ideas about flushing them more then welcome.

2 of Deimoses are just massive. They are curentelly overgrowing my tent. I think this is 2nd or maybe 3rd week of flowering for them. They could be ready in probably a month or longer and they will definitelly reach my lights soon. Also they are just in 8l res so they are running out of root space and changing solutions is a hustle. I didn't expect them to grow that big and I need to decide what I'm gonna do with them soon. Curentelly I can't take any pictures as can't really pull them out of tent since they got so big and HPS light is messing with my camera. I'm gonna take some pix during their sleep so I post them later.

flushing in hydro doesnt take as long as it does in soil mate you can easily do a 5 day flush and get a nice result,
the start of the flush depends on how you like your smoke if you want a head high start the flush when the trichs are 70% cloudy and if you like a mix of head and body stone flush when the trichs are 70% cloudy and 30% amber and so on
if you listen to what the breeders recommend and harvest when they say the plant is ready this is gonna be no where near the potential that the plant has to offer
it is true to say that plants can be harvested within the breeders said amount of time but for maximum effect look at the trichs and decide for yourself when to havest, there is no point spending all that time growing and cutting the plants 2 early you want them at their peak potency
if i remeber correctly the auto assain is the sativa leaning mi5 strain and if its anything like the mi5 i had then she is a very fruity smoke indeed and enjoyable, i look forward to a smoke report on her
im amazed you got so many plants in your tent in hydro and not run into problems because i know the size they can get being grown this way, a smaller res on your deimoses was always gonna cause problems especily with 2 plants in there id even go as far to say that 8ltr res would only just hold 1 plants root system
anyways i wish you all the best with you harvest and if you need any advice just hola

Hi man. Thanks for interest. I found this information very usefull. Unfortunetelly I don't have a microscope or lense and I don't know place in my town where I could buy it either so I can't really tell what color trichroms are. In case of FastBud I'd say that 30% of hairs are orange and 70% are milky like. So I think I'm gonna start flush on day 60 which is gonna be sunday as she is looking ready for me. In case of AutoAssasins I'm gonna let them go a bit longer. Definitelly another week and I may flush them at day 65-70. Any idea where I could get cheap microscope or lense?

making a descision on wether a plant is ready by looking at the hairs is not the best way to go business
the hairs can start white and turn red and then turn brown before the trichomes have even begun to get cloudy, the only and proper way to judge a plant is by checking the trichs to see what stage she is at, by doing this you will be able to see when she is at peak potency
you can get a 30x jewlers loupe from ebay for £2 but anything above 30x is good for the job (40x 50x 60x 100x etc)

This is what I wanted to hear actually. You sound pretty confident about what you saying so I'll trust ya and get lens or microscope tomorrow. I don't wanna buy of ebay as that is gonna take ages(like a week) and I need to make up decision soon. Thanks man.

I grew Auto Assassin outside. I didnt feed it much and I used regular earth to grow it in a five gallon bucket. I just generally mistreated them. It was still good smoke. Imagine if I had given her optimum conditions? I think you will be happy. I had one that didnt auto. I have looked and I appear to be the only one that has had an issue. The one that didnt auto turned out to be great smoke for me. I will do an indoor grow on the one that didnt auto (cuttings) in a good medium this Jan. Good job on yours and I am subscribed.

It's nice to read that. I obviously read your thread and I'm impressed with your outdoor grow in Texas. I wish we had that kind of wheater here. I hope both of my Assasins gonna be decent as read some reviews and people are saying that smoke is great. They are in hydro now and I think they being fertilised propelly so I'm expecting to yield few ounces and definitelly I'm gonna grow this strain again. I'm also looking to your next grow. Peace
I nearly made the same mistake with the fast buds thinkin they were balls when indeed they were only false seed pods filling , shows you what a difference DWC and 20 hrs light does to the fast bud !! looking good i done mine in soil and only 12/12 (had reg strains in) its a real nice smoke i thought , really stinky

Yeah, that was tricky like for me. Honestelly I had low expectations for FastBud and I buy it as additional seed only but It turned nicely and it's nearly ready. I got new eye candy pix too and gonna post them later on tonight. Loving your picture. How much did you pull out of it?

Hi there. Girls are 61 days old now and doing well.
Some things has changes in my tent though as decided to remove both of Deimoses as wasn't really satisfied with current grow. Firstly picked up wrong reservoir size - 8L for two massive about 1m tall plants. Both of them reached lamp and leaves started drying out. Then I'm curentelly running out of nutes and got three other plant going. So because I wanna start new seeds and all of above I decide to bin then.
I'm not really happy that I fucked them up but I got another AA germinating just now and then FastBud and both of AAs are coming nicely and gonna be ready soon. Unfortunetelly I don't have anymore space so can't upload pictures. Anybody know what to do to get more upload space here?
Anyway that's pictures of FastBud on Day #61. Last pix I menage to upload. Enjoy.

if you want a cheap microscope here's a link..... i have the 100x hand held one and it does the trick .... your grow really has come on since the last time i looked ... the fast buds are best left till the trichs are cloudy and amber of fully amber if you can get the ratio right without over doing them ... http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=100x+microscope
