Best Tasting Strains?

everyone mostly talks about potency, yield, or smell.....what about taste? Whats the most tastiest strain you've tried and why?

mine has to be the old school super skunk or roadkill skunk, thick skunky taste, couldn't hold a big hit for more then 4-5 seconds without coughing your ass off.

one of my favs is Blockhead with its limey fuely smell which carries on when burning ... really delish , the same with a good spicy kali or ssH

To date my favorite taste produced by bud has been BOG's Blue Moon Rocks.

It was a tight mix of Lavender/and berries. With a menthol-ish aftertaste thrown into the mix.

Next would have to be the SD clone, to me the taste does not last long but while it's there its intense. Like Pinesol (the cleaner) lemon drops.

Finally I would go with JLP's Amnesia Haze 99. This plant gave a mix of heavy citrus/ spice mixed with tropical fruits.

Yes Time2Unite I feel that taste is very important and often overlooked....

In DJ Short's book there is a very informative section all about the taste of Cannabis..
It includes peppery/spicy, skunky/putrid, menthol/astringent/diesel, fruity/berry/lemon,
and so forth.....

I recall a lemony Chitral plant, some delivery-service one-time-only herb which literally
looked and tasted like Cotton Candy, some wonderfully fruity BubbleBerry, an amazing
grapefruit with unbelievable grapefruit taste......

I hope more Breeders concentrate on taste in the future and i would love to hear other peoples' stories of great tastes, especially from the decades gone-by from certain land-races which could be currently unavailable...

Taste is very important to me. Matter of fact Potency and Taste are the main factors. I'm a fan of the sweet tasting strains. I got alot but haven't tried them yet. I've smoked Blueberry a few time and the taste was amazing. The other best tasting bud I've smoked was AK48. It had a sweet funky taste that was really awesome. I have a feeling my Somango x Lavender is going to taste awesome, everytime I rub the leaves and smell my fingers it smells very tropical and mangoish. I'm sure it's going to be tasty.

Hey Benny....what seed company did your NL come from....i love the weed that tastes like fruity pebbles...lost that strain about 4 yrs ago and it was just bag seed but i figured it had NL in it.

TASTE is my #1 thing then high,why because you can

Strains,MY BANANA#1 and PINE#5 are top quality flavors all my own!!!
Had some good KC leda greasy lemons ahh,and BOGS bubblegum good pheno's!

WHite widow has some nice inida pheno's i made a good cross with my pine!!

Nirvana afgans have a sweet pheno that bring back memories of old!!

there was a really sativa Misty from NIRVANA that had an awesome berry/fruity taste and a solid stone - low yield indoors though and seemed like that cross had lots of variety as only 1 of 10 was that pheno.

and for lingering finish i would have to say NIRVANA Snow White. great skunky finish. really long lasting and enjoyable - not super vigorous and the high was not as powerful as some others though.

P.S. - still love Romulan the best overall....

Hands-down so far for me: Reeferman's Butterscotch Hawaiian, the butterscotch afghan pheno.

Everything else has paled by comparison. You always get a faint flavor with weed, but the BH is like having a butterscotch candy sitting on your tongue.

The best tasting strain I've ever smoked was definately white rhino... nirvana. Dear god I wish I would have kept that pheno. Tasted like sweet lemons mixed with hash. mmmmm

So far AK48 is the best tasting bud I've grown, unfortunately that's the only thing that was good about it.
