best products for killing broad mites in veg stage?

I've been posting about this like crazy. You haven't seen it in the other thread?

OGBIOWAR foliar pack.

Use it once a week, and you will not see any critters. It kills about everything but bees. It has wiped out the grasshoppers on my property this year. It wiped out my broad mites on the first application.

I put off buying it because it seemed like very gimmicky marijuana based marketing, but the product inside the package is gold.

I stopped the 5 other things I was spraying, and now just use this. There seems to be some other people bringing in similar products to the US. I am glad as having 1 supplier seems scary.

Do you have a link to the posts? This product seems very interesting, but it doesn't say anything about mites on their website though. Did you use the ogbiowar on mites in your grow room or your yard?

I used it for broad mites in 4 rooms, and for grasshoppers on my property outside. Kills mites on the first application. It will kill just about everything, but bees.

I just ordered an 8 oz pack of foliar. It cost $34 after shipping. I hope this is not another hyped up snake oil product. By the way it sounds here, this is more effective than avid floramite and what not. I'm taking advice here and going to give this a try.

For sure, I'm expecting it to arrive on or before the 25th. This is the first product that I have even heard of to use fungi and bennies as a way of killing mites. I'm very skeptical about this, hopefully we didn't just throw our money away.

OGBIOWAR Foliar works. Many, many people have used it since I was the guinea pig for broad mite use. I stopped using 5 different things, and switched to only use OGBIOWAR foliar. Can't get any easier than that.

YOU MUST HAVE HIGH HUMIDITY FOR OGBIOWAR TO WORK!

Whoa buddy, you need to tell people the humidity has to be high for the ogbiowar to work. If you mentioned it, sorry. You just sound like you are advertising. You talked me into buying that organic garbage to try on some new strains i aqcuired. I have no need for that. I will try it one day or have a friend try it. I ordered a pack and haven't even need to use it yet. Also, what 5 things were you using to wipe out the mites? Safer soap? Water/mix? Foggers? Or the one and only NEEM OIL? I wiped out a population of mites a few different times with only tobacco tea and a bayer pesticide from lowes that you must use sparingly and best watered down. No need for expensive shit that don't work. They are for trees and shrubs, I haven't tried the one for fruits. That bayer spray last for a whole month though. You can use a lot of things for mites, my trick is to seclude the mites and spray DAILY for a few weeks if you have a heavy infestation. Keep the heat high and fans off. Spray even when you think they are gone because they are not.

Just make a tobacco tea and add a few drops of lemon juice, dish soap, ... This kills them eggs and all. I spray every other day for a week or two. You have to be consistent and keep up on the sprays even though you don't see any. If not you will have a spider mite outbreak when you're in flower and thats too late.... I just got some plants that are heavily infested with mites in quarantine and I'm not too worried.

So SmokeDaima, none of your posts include the phrase broad mites. Have all the experiences you mention been with spider mites only?

Trash bags or dry cleaning bags... (seriously hoping you don't need to do this to really large plants)
Avid
Helium

Haven't tried this yet but I know both work individually. I'm not a fan of 'chems' by any stretch of the imagination but you have to admit that avid does wipe out mites in one proper application. I don't want avid on/in my plants though...

SO...

Bag your plants
Suck the air out of them gently
Fill them up with Helium
Make sure the bags are sealed well.
Bomb the room with avid
Air out the room for a good 12-18 hours

Unbag the clean plants...
It's already been proven that helium is 'inert' to cannabis plants and that 24 hours of exposure will not harm them in any way. All living things are dead though.

The only thing I'm unclear about is whether or not the helium also kills eggs. Should 18 hours of helium not suffocate eggs then I'd say a through spraying down of the "PLANT" with water and about 20% isopropyl alcohol will kill the eggs and dissolve any webs.

Warning: Isopropyl alcohol is devastating to cannabis when it comes in contact with the roots. Please make sure any 'spray down' methods you use also contain the overspray and dripping so no root zones or reservoirs are contaminated.

I look forward to seeing successful tests of this method as it would mean being able to 'clean' a room with Avid... without contaminating the plants with the chems.

Keep it Clean! :D

Im here because my dipshit hydro shop dude told me to get mighty wash after I said 10000 times I have BROAD mites.

OGBIOWAR sounds cool

Theres also predatory mites like Neoseiulus cucumeris but the cheapest batch of for 50$ with 25,000 eggs is beyond over kill for my 3x5 veg tent.

SO WTF TO DO? Plants are only in veg!

honestly Ive been growing with broad mites for over a year BUT CHECK THIS OUT. I haven't even known I had broad mites till last week - I have thought over time at certain instances that shit I have an infestation but I never did anything about it - I just let the plants grow. And honestly I woudl battle fungus gnats so what I was using for them could potentially be part of the solution for prior instances.

So I got this mighty wash I been shaking for an hour only to realize its a waste of my money and now I gotta return it.... OG BIO WAR sounds like the way to go but I don't have high humidity capabilities unless I purchase a humidifier and why the fuck would I want to do that...

SO! I'm going to use the rest of my SNS systematic 209 soil drench with for once R/O water from my system I just set up - not stupid tap water. I think I'm going to spray the plants with something but food based like light nutrient mix or something with a tad bit dish soap and see what that does.

I have 100% faith in my plants to grow out of it/live through it.

Honestly these Broad Mites are only on the weakest plant and have just started to move to another plant.

I think ima remove all the bad infected growth as well. and give the plants a good microfiber towel wash with the SNS solution.

I would love to hear about what others have successfully done to win the battle!

:tiphat:

Holy shit homie!
You dont want to fuck around with broads!
Dont even bother with the hippy bs.
You are gonna need to bomb your room and hit your plants with some poison.
Id just start tossing anything infected that you arent in love with

LOL FUCK ANYTHING EVER SPRAYED OR ANY SOIL DRENCH EVER.

GreenMethods.Com ---- Neoseiulus californicus

1000x easier to use than OGBIOWAR. You don't need anything but to gently distribute the Predatory Mites on your infected plants and in your garden.

THEY EVEN LIVE OFF POLLEN - so if you have a male around or two - the mites will be around indefinitely and can help prevent future infestations.

Fuck Everything at HomeDepot and Everysingle Hydroshop - unless they are carrying live beneficials and predators... I can't believe I didn't htink about this. I started to research broad mites then I found a predator and then I found the above supplier

its 52$ with shipping to Southern California but seeing how I will barely need any for my veg tent - I will be using these on my house plants - my outside veggie and flower gardens. I think I might buy a whole plethora of predators later this year and build up an army so anything coming my way turns into lunch and is more than welcome!

fuck avid and helium. Lets use what Nature gave us.
