Best place to mount dehumidifier?

Go look up trichome bearing plants and their response to humidity. You'll find a universal truth among them. The higher the humidity, the lower the trichome count.

I have looked it up, I'm not guessing in any way.

I corrected one of your inaccuracies. I don't have the patience to go point by point, nor does it matter.

Twice now you've completely missed the point of a reply directed at you. My purpose isn't to bicker fine details, merely to show what is. One of you pops up every few monthes here, muddling up the forum with half truths.

Talk less, read more.

My post on transpiration is quite accurate (as is my information on environment for max trichome density). Cannabis does indeed use transpiration for staying hydrated in dry climates. Your "link" is general information, not the full skinny.

You're the one working with half truths on this, if you believe transpiration is only used for cooling and not hydration. (Edit: Your link DOES confirm what I stated. "Drier surroundings gives a steeper water potential gradient, and so increases the rate of transpiration.") Horticultural research states, trichomes trap this evaporated water creating a micro-climate.
