well, the blue dream is a hella yielder
and i dont mean in the ounces, or a pound or two
I have seen many 3+ lb BD but there are 10, 12, and 15 pound blue dreams being grown between santa cruz and southern oregon
It is my understanding that pot size DOES dictate size of plants, so we are doing 100-150 gallon pots(between those 2 figures, holds more, just depends on whats around.
and training also plays a roll, which is why we are LSTing some now, for transplant a couple times into medium size pots(the 100+gal) and then using trellis for a screen, and stakes
in a greenhouse 20X60

guys there are more pieces to the puzzle than flower time.

most sativa dom plants that yield like bluedream dont need much time in veg because they have that huge sativa stretch when put into 12/12.

i have a cut of 10 week jack herer that gives me four ounce plants with 3 days veg and is very forgiving to grow.

strains like these allow you to eliminate your veg lighting which is twice or two thirds as expensive as paying for the 12 hours of light it takes to flower.. you also free up veg space which you can now devote to flowering or pre flowering areas..

THIS ^^^^^^
I couldnt have said it any better!! I also have a Jacks Cleaner cut that only needs a few days in veg and i take her to about 70 days. I just put a short flowering indica into the flowering cycle that is ready at 50 days, but it needed a month of vegetative growth!! So i end up saving 10 days if i grow out my 70 day sativaish strain compared to my squat "quick" flowering indica. Plus, the sativa yields DOUBLE what the indica does!!!

Probably has already been said, but I can't say enough good things about Blue Dream.

If you live in CO you know the cut, every dispensary has it, and its numbers make it a keeper no matter who tries it, 1.5+lbs / 1000W Light is an average, the nugs are large and the great calyx/leaf ratio makes it easy to trim, the flavor is delicious but personally I find it cloyingly sweet, and the frostiness speaks for itself, here are some day 49 shots of my current cycle:

And then some dry shots:

Reviews on these forums can lead you to a viable seed version, but if you have friends in CO you may wish to try and obtain the "Denver" cut.

its funny i hear the same shit all over the place.. people saying sativas are making a comeback.. but then everytime i sell sativa buds i get a call back asking to trade for something different. no1 thats under 25 likes sativa.. people with jobs and or kids.. like sativas.. so i said fuck it. going with mainly indica strains.. keeping sativas for me!

This. Sativas are headstash if the high is too clear for most smokers used to Indica doms.

Bump this old thread!! to see how the market has changed even more since this thread was created. i will have to say Delahaze is the best commerical strain i have grown outdoors. it yeilds great,is very potent, bag appeal A+ and smell of mango on pheno#1 and pheno#2(my fav) is lemon pledge smelling, soaring sativa buzz and if u smoke to much its night night time. any other good ones out there for guerilla growers?

mandala's indica Nepalese bat pheno from satori for outdoor hybrids is my current grail outdoor breeder for potency, bud structure and bud rot resistance.

satori Nepalese indica translates these properties into it's progeny; aka old time definition of "sport".

The right cut of Kong will yield like a Blue Dream, but produce hash like a GG4 and taste like diesel.
