I would doubt that it compares favorably to lumatek zeus at that price point. Never heard of the driver make and while i do have experience with Hongli monos i would not rate them as well as crees or osrams - it looks very much like a chinese rebrand. Spectrum seems to indicate 70cri diodes: a bit more efficiency at a slight sacrifice of yellow and red in the spectrum.Hi guyz,
what do you think about this panel ? look like a copy of the lumatel 2.9:
Calitek - Led Grizzly - 630W 3.0
Sorry, i gotta correct myself. Im mistaking Hongli for another brand that i once considered and investigated (they had cheap gear on TME web) but i abandoned the idea. I havent tried any Honglis and tbh i was only considering them for low price. Their uv diodes were of middling spec. Its hard to remember which china brand is which, my misstake. The brand i was thinking of is a fair bit better than hongli tbh. So i advice probably skip unless youre after the cheapest light possible.I would doubt that it compares favorably to lumatek zeus at that price point. For a low cost item it looks allright, they seem to want to squeeze out maximum ppf/w out of economic components. I would make sure to get full details on aftersales service, in writing what they would do if you were to have problems with it within what warranty period.
Dont wanna tank it but the cheaper things get...
But is it low cost? For a low cost item it looks allright,
