Best blueberry?

I am searching for the best blueberry on the current seed market or to be released soon........there are a few blueberries out there, but I wanna hear from someone with hands on experience.From what I have read the best blues are in DJshorts line.the blueberry from dj is the more indica right?? and the true blueberry is sativa?? I have grown 2 berry strains in the past .The first picked up in amsterdam at the noon after smokin some of their blueberry entered in the cup..I planted 7 or 8 and got all males 1 female that was morphy and very week actualy I still have 6 waiting to be planted...and the other berry strain was Reefs newberry and dam that was some killer berry goodness .finished fast and the stone was oh so good.All females were a pleasure to grow and smoke.I am a med patient so clubs are a possiblity too.
Anyone that loves the blueberry let me hear it

in reference to your question of the difference between Blueberry and True Blueberry, here is an answer....
True Blueberry has been crossed with an Afgan again, and while you might think this would supply a more stoney high, trueblue tends to have a more euforic uppity high.... granted, you might have a harder time finding one that tastes exactly like blueberrys (trueblue tends to have a little of a hashy edge to it) , but the high is worth it

so the Blueberry is a more indica relaxed stone and the true blue is a more uppity and euphoric stone....good to know ,I wasn't sure of the difference.That pic looks killer.would you say the true blue is more potent??

I believe that the true blueberry is more potent since its from a larger gene pool selection according to dj's description. But the blueberry is more berry tastitng than the true blueberry according to Red. So it all depends on what you want.

that makes sense as the afgani is more potent than the blueberry.Reefs newberry is supposed to be from afgani backrounds and packs a major berry punch a must try for the berry lover looking for a better kick.I am looking into those true blue and blueberry but will still put in some deep thought .

The blueberry sold by Dutch Passion was also originally DJ Shorts. I read an article by DJ stating that he formerly been contracted to DP and supplied them with the seeds for their versions of blueberry and Flo aswell as maybe another strain which at the moment I cannot recall. I have only grown out a blueberryXlowryder which I would recommend as I didnt find anything about it very nice apart from the finishing time. I have tried a friends blueberry though and it was exquisite stuff... quite unlike anything else I have smoked. (though I must say I havent tried a large number of strains from commercial seed breeders) He had 2 phenotypes, one that showed heaps of color and one green one, both excellent, but the green one I found to be stronger in that it had more of a 'punch' to it. The seeds were from DJ Short BTW, so although I havent grown it I can say it was a great smoke, very balanced...

I just sprouted a pack of dj shorts original blueberry (minus 2 seeds i gave to a friend). Out of the eight i started i have two that im praying will make it. Some never popped and others grew about an inch and then stopped growing. Im not a new grower (OG member) and babied all these plants because i was hoping to get a few to pick a keeper from for future crosses. Hopefully theses two will make it but at $140 a pack i won't be buying anymore. peace

Basically, if you've got alot of cash go with ANYTHING of DJ Short's all of his strains are spectacular, I've grown Dutch Passions Blueberry and it was EXTREMELY potent. But i've smoked a few of DJ short's strains and every single one was extremely potent

Hey Sking,
that dosen't sound good at all ?? how are we suposed to find something we want to keep in our gardens when some of the seeds fail to sprout or just quit growing?? The price should reflect the quality of the seeds.....germination to flower or nuts/pollen.has anyone else had germination or growth problems with the blueberry???I have heard about the leaf curl on some ,but thats just genetics.

Im sure every batch isnt like the one I got but i cant afford to pay that much without getting a better return. But then again, we'll see if i feel the same in 3 months. Maybe ill get a really good mother plant.

What about Peak Seeds Blueberry. It's supposed to be a cross between select Blueberry plants from DJ Short, DP, and Sagarmatha. I got a pack waiting to be grown. I'm going to give it a try soon.

I've heard nothing but good things about True Blueberry...
Although I've heard all Blueberry crosses can be touchy, especially for a novice grower.....

gotta second myst. BB isnt a heavy feeder and does best at like half strength. it is also prone to leaf mutations that can throw off a novice grower if they arent ready to see these new challenges.

Blueberry was named and created by d.j Short. All others(D.P, Sagarmatha.)...use his genetics in their Blueberry hybrids. However the Dutch often cross their varieties with Skunk One, so i would make sure and purchase D.J Shorts Blueberry. Its a little sensitive and will show you by growing slowely if the envirement isnt perfect.
She provides a medium to low yeild of strongly berry flavored buds. The high is clear indica, what i call a functional Indica high, great for anxiety or my P.T.S.D!!!

I love Blueberry. I haven’t grown any yet but I’ve smoked a heap of it. It’s one of my favorite smokes. I am going to get some seeds this year and it’s going to be the Blueberry from DJ Short. Not True Blue or any other Blue cross. I don’t care I’m shelling out the extra cash for the DJ.....
