best blue berry or blue strains

Always wanted djs blue moonshine so of course I then wanted moscas blue moon. Used to be pricey but got a deal on now.... sometimes I wonder why I open my mouth lol. Prob since Id rather grab chimera sweet skunk instead haha... all good grab tho blue moons while they exist at seedbou... 80 bones.... might grab one myself....

Years ago a buddy of mine was working a hydro shop in buffalo ny. A customer had walked in and handed him a handful of blueberry seeds. After growing out a dozen or so seeds they were all females and all very blueberry! He kept clones and shared w me. The plants were extremely resinous. They reeked of blueberry and had a bluish tint to the resin In flower. They were very sativa dom and u could glue a bud to the wall. Sadly we both lost our cuts and we never made seeds.. kick myself in the ass for that. We knew these seeds were killer but didnt realize how rare they were until we went looking for something similar and still have found nothing that compares. Ive grown all kindd of blueberry cuts and seeds and nothing even close to blueberry. The second best were a blueberry x nl that was made by a novice breeder years ago I cannot even recall his screenname. But they def had the real blueberry. I think its still out there, somewhere. I hope one day we cross paths again. The seeds we grew were wickedly potent as well. Was truly the tote package. It just blows my mind that dj cannot reproduce that old school bb in seed. From what ive heard its just not there in his seeds. Nice plants but not that old school bb.

Anyone who wants a true blueberry terpine profile, you want to get the blueberry bx seeds from greenbeans seeds. Just about to finish my run with them and I can say they are absolutely the best and most blueberry plants I've ever grown, and I've grown a lot. The nose is very loud and almost doesnt even smell like pot. Without a doubt imo the best blueberry currently in seed form.

Just dug up my old blueberry sativa cut that dates back before pre2k. It took me years of searching then when I gave up I bumped into a old friend still running the cut. I have her in flower right now and she is looking fantastic!! Time will tell and hopefully she hasn't suffered from genetic drift at all but she seems to have been well taken care of by a old friend that still had her. Her nose is straight blueberry no two ways about it well atleast back then. I am about 3 weeks in change with her in flower right now and I am getting those familiar scents. She goes through a couple different smells before she brings out full on blueberry goodness. Keep your fingers crosses because if she hasn't lost anything that made her a keeper she will be spread to good friends.

I'd recommend "blue hell" from medical seeds. It's a feminized pure blueberry. A friend had some and it had great flavor. I never flowered one but I had one around for a bit and it grew similar to the stretch indica type old school bb that's we know and love. Very fast rooting, vigorous plants. The golf ball indica buds on a sativa frame produces the classic smell/flavor, and they yield.....just my 2 cents

I popped 2 packs of dj short bb a while ago. Was very happy with the type of high, but the flavor wasn't that strong. Well id say grower error occurred cause I didn't realize my humidifier filters were shot and the buds dried in 3 days. I screwed them up pretty good. I selected the best of the bunch and flowered out the other 5 phenos I had but didn't keep any clones of these. Had them as extra plants out of the main canopy. Turns out one of them was spot on straight blueberry smell and flavor. Exactly what I was looking for. Its definitely there. I don't know if the better dry/cure brought out the flavor or having the plants not in the intense lit canopy area did the trick. I just hope my keeper cut turns out as good as the one I culled. Well I got so excited I went ahead and popped the other 30 bb seeds I had left! While im on my dj rant, id like to say that read the strain descriptions in any of his packs, and its exactly what I found in each strain.

If I were to search anywhere besides dj's gear, id check out the blue digi berry from verdant green. I have researched it a bit and talked with both vg and dankfrank, both upstanding gentlemen that seem to share the blue love that we all are after. Plus not to mention, countless testimonies from fellow ic'ers that the flavors are awesome, and the pics they posted in that thread don't lie!

@mikenite, congrats on finding the old cut bro. Whenever I check out a bb thread I always see u talking about that cut and hunting it down. I never had that cut but got one bag of bb back in 95 and have been searching since.

By far hands down the best Blueberry strain is Jedi.

The best aromatics that carry over into taste. I will pack a bowl and not smoke it for 15 or 20 minutes, just letting the blueberry pie waft up my nose.

Jedi does not yield the best, or even test the highest. It is great day time weed! Super chill and so very delicious. It will always have a home in my garden!

one of the goals was to sort of reverse engineer Blueberry in a pure sativa fashion, using long flowering landrace NLD's...

if it tastes like it smells then this cut checks every box in terms of what people want from Blueberry in regards to terpene profile and sativa influence..

blueberry pancake syrup, the berries from crunch berries cereal... with artificial floral and lotion/baby powder undertones is the nose

2/5 phenos of Schnazzleberry 2 were very Blueberry leaning highs, 4 hour energetic positive euphoria, probably the best thing I have ever grown.

An old pack of Sagarmatha Blueberry just gave 2 very pretty but useless plants outdoor.

Blue Hell (medical) I have a few, looks vigorous, a friend flowered the seed mums, harvested a bit early and hid/doesn't discuss the results (unlike the other half of the crop) the plants show little Blueberry traits, but I just put what I have in flower.

awe man im sitting here drooliing. ive been looking for a really nice blueberry strain for years. ive come close but havent got that blueberry muffin sugary sweet taste. that jedi sounds really good! did u run it from seed or a cut? (sorry not familiar with the strain.

If you want blueberry muffin/cereal I'd say verdant green's carolina blue hybrid is a good place to look because nearly all the carolina blue x digital berry plants I ran had that all day and beautiful frosty plants.

But blueberry muffin is not the same at all as straight blueberry, which is by far the more elusive terpine profile to find. I thought blueberry muffin is what I wanted till I got a whiff of straight up blueberry.

my BlueDigiBerry isnt carolina blue, its my blueberry cut crossed with D.F's Digiberry male, and taken to F2. My cut is a candy sweet blueberry very much like infinitesimal describes above. the Digi is more on the muffin side, and these F2s seem to throw plenty of phenos of both.

Ah good to know VG. I thought the male was from the cb x db line which I really enjoyed and have a couple f2's of those flowering out as well. Candy sweet bb sounds tasty! So your bb pheno has that candy flavor and the dread lock buds, and I'm guessing a very thai influenced high?
